"Hyung!" Jungkook grasps hold of the door handle and tries to yank it open, but it doesn't budge. He feels his face begin to heat up with rage and annoyance at being betrayed by Jimin. "Hyung! Open the door! This is not funny."
"Of course, it's not! Look, I really care for the two of you and trust me when I say: YOU NEED THIS!" Jimin's voice, even though muffled by the door, is loud enough as it comes from the other side.
"Hyung!"
"Jungkook stop being a coward!" The irritation is clear in his voice. "And Y/N give him chance. Right.. you two better have made up when I come back. Bye." His voice is soft when directed at you pleading for you not to be too harsh.
"This is not the way to do this! Hyung! Hyung?" Jungkook punches his fist against the door as no reply comes. He's really gone. He really left Jungkook locked in a room with you.
"I didn't know it disgusted you so much to be in the same room as me." Jungkook grips the handles tighter as he hears you speak.
"No! It's not like that." He quickly turns around to defend his actions.
I'm not ready for this yet, Y/N. And I don't want to burden you with my feelings.. when you like Jimin.
He watches as you slip down the wall, you had been leaning against, to sit on the floor and drop your head down to your hands.
He gulps before taking a step towards you, bracing himself for what's to come. Why is he so nervous all of a sudden? Drawing in a long breath, to steady his racing heart and rubbing his sweaty palms against his thigh, he moves to sit beside you on the cold floor.
Jungkook fidgets next to you unable to find a comfortable sitting position as he tries very hard not to touch you because he knows you must be extremely mad. Having somewhat settled down, he clears his throat a little too loudly causing you to look up and arch an eyebrow at his sudden close proximity. "Hey."
You blink at him in confusion. After everything he put you through that's what he says? Hey?
"Umm.. Hi?" You say.
"Er.. H-how have you been?"
You let out a mirthless laugh and watch him shrink into himself. You feel the guilt resurface as you notice the sorrow in his eyes becoming clearer and decide to answer him.

"I've been.." miserable, because you broke my heart and walked all over it. For 3 months I hated myself for mistreating Jimin's feelings. I'd convinced myself that you meant nothing to me anymore but now as I sit next to you breathing in your sent I don't know anything anymore. "Fine. I've been fine."
"Oh." Jungkook tone is sad as he says it. He hadn't been excepting that particular answer but at least you were doing better than him, he thinks to himself reassuring. When you raise your eyebrows at his tone he quickly tries to cover up. "I mean that's good."
You let out a defeated sigh and shake your head. "Look at what we're doing. Making small talk. When have we ever had trouble carrying out a conversation? It was always so easy talking to you. What happened, Jungkook?"
Your eyes plead with his for an answer. For a way to easy the pain that's only growing in your chest.
"You left Y/N, that's what happened." Jungkook says before he can think it through. The immediate change in your expression tells him he's made a big mistake.
"What do you mean?"
"I.. didn't mean-"
"You're blame all this on me?" You turn your body to face him, his close proximity is beginning to make you uncomfortable. "Let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we? You asked me to get away from you, Jungkook! It was you!"
"Y/N.."
"No, Jungkook! I won't let you do this again." Your chest rises and falls as you fight to maintain your anger. "I won't let you walk all over my heart again."
"Wha-"
You quickly stand, no longer wanting to see his face.
"Y/N, please stop and listen to me. Please." His voice shakes as he tries to stop you from leaving but you keep walking, trying to get away from him. When he sees that you won't stop he runs after you and quickly wraps his arms around you.
You immediately freeze in place, your breath hitches.
"Please don't leave me again. I don't think I'll survival this time around. Please.." You allow him to continue but he doesn't. His grip on you is tight but not suffocating. The warmth from his body that engulfs you is making it hard to breathe.

"Jungkook..." You control your emotions. No matter what your feelings are towards him you will not allow him, or anyone else, to walk all over you. "Let me go." And he does.
You turn around to face him. "What do you want me to do, Jungkook?! What am I supposed to do when you keep confusing me with your actions? One minute you're the sweetest guy driving me across the country just so I can be with my family and the next you're a complete jerk."
"I didn't know how to control my feelings for you, Y/N. I don't know how I went from hating you one day to not being able to not go a minute without seeing you face? You just made me feel so normal in a world that's all about image and reputation. You.. you made me feel comfortable with myself. Whenever I was around you I didn't have to pretend to be someone else."
Your heart is beating so loud you're afraid you'll miss something he says.
"I fell for you before I could control the situation. I fell hard.." he smiles to himself. "But none of that mattered when I found out I wasn't the only one. Jimin Hyung.. I didn't want to get in his way.. not after I realised you reciprocated his feelings too-"
"That's not for you to decide! You can't make my decisions for me." You say exasperatedly. "You can't decide who I like and who I don't."
"What do you me-?" He frowns.
"I never had feelings for Jimin." You close your eyes and allow your body to relax. "At least not the way I feel about you."
When you look up at Jungkook again you see him open his mouth to speak but no words come out.
He feels a weight that had been suffocating for months lift off as the begin to register the meaning behind your words. You don't have feelings for Jimin.. After what seems like an eternity he reaches a trembling hand and takes yours in his.
"I know I'm asking for a lot," he says. "But can we start over."
"You can try."
He dramatically clears his throat and you purse you lips together in anticipation.
"Kang Y/N, I know I'm the biggest idiot in the world for treating you the way I did but I mean it when I say I'm sorry. I don't want to imagine another day in my life where I don't get to see you because of a stupid mistake I made," Jungkook stops to catch his breathe and also analyses your face for any indication. He gets nothing. "All I ask is for you to give me a chance to prove to you that I am really sorry. Please."
"How do I know you won't hurt me again?" You ask him, your voice steady yet pleading.
"Because I can't lose you a second time."
You look away from him then and at the floor, your conflicting thoughts only getting more tangled.
"Please say something." His voice is nothing more than a whisper as he feels panic start to seize his heart. What if you said no? What if you wanted nothing to do with him? What if..?
"Okay."
"What did you say?" Jungkook blinks at your response.
"I'm willing to give you a second chance. But trust me if you mess it up this time around you're dead-"
Before you can utter another word, Jungkook steps forward and cups your cheek with his hand. "I know there's a massive chance of me getting slapped right now but I'm will to talk the risk."
When he places his lips on yours, you let out a gasp which only comes out muffled. Your knees become weak and threaten to buckle underneath, and it is then that you realise how much you wanted this. As you kiss him back it acts as encouragement for him to pull you close and eliminate any space between you.
He breaks away first, chest rising and falling. "You have no clue how long I've kept that in."
"Pervert!" You punch him chest and see him wince. Funnily enough you feel a tinge of satisfaction.
Serves him right for being a jerk..
"Y/N, I forgot to say something important."
"What?"
"I love you."
