Your POV

Its been a while since you've seen the turtles, you would text Donnie on the daily some conversations short others long. He seemed busy fighting at night and tired or working on his projects in the day, meanwhile you were cramming for finals and so you didn't know when you could see him.

D:"hey, how is your day going?"

y:" the usual, study/ work/ die at the end n crash (;-;). I've been having trouble studying"

D:"if you need any help I could always be your tutor"

y:"that would be a big help!"

D:" what subject do you need help with"

y:" just (subject here) and some AP Japanese language literature/ culture"

D:" wow, your really must be smart to be in those type of classes, what are you doing right now"

y:" waiting for my brain to explode, jk I'm home I wont have work for a few days"

D:" perfect, if you want we can study at my place?"

'Donnie's place' you wonder what that would look like n find your self curious

Y:" yeah that sounds perfect!"

D:" ill come pick you up around 8 ish, see you then"

Seeing the time you get up and get ready for Donnie's arrival, packing all your school work and fixing your appearance putting your hair in different ways.

'What am I doing' you think to your self 'ok just calm down its Studying', you slap both cheeks for motivation but really you were just trying to stop acting like a dork. you pack some treats and get a little bowl,

'I cant leave her here all day I haven't taken her out since I've been cramming so much, they wont mind right?' you ponder for a bit. Tap tap tap, you hear from the window. you go to the window and see Donnie, you let him in.

"hey welcome to my homie home~" you say spinning with your arms spread out. He gives out a soft laugh and asks.

"you ready to go?" he looked at you with his hand extended.

"oh really quick ... do you think it would be ok to take kilala, she hasn't had any time out side the house lately" you look down at her as she entangles herself between your feet.

"That shouldn't be a problem, since we don't really have pets other then spike and ice-cream kitty" he says picking her up.

"spike seems like a normal enough name but why Ice-cream kitty? " you ask wondering what kind of pets turtles would have.

"spikes Raph's pet turtle and Ice-cream Kitty is Mikey's pet, originally she was a stray cat but Mikey wasn't watching her n she got into some Mutagen, so now she's part Ice-cream part cat".

'That sounds adorable' you think trying to picture it in your head.

leaving your apartment you go down the alley way's dead end. 'an alley way?' you see him open the man hole and go in half way. ' he lives under ground . . . in the sewer's . . . not what I had in mind'.

"I'm going in first oh and don't worry, this part of the sewer's are clean" he said jumping all the way in. you look down at him from above.

" if you jump down I'll catch you, trust me." he said extending his hands playfully.

"your enjoying this to much" you say giggling, "If I die ima kill you" you say jumping into his arms.

"that wasn't so far now was it" he says placing you down, "there's also a ladder so next time you can take it down, instead of jumping in" he says pointing to it.

". . . w-why didn't you say that before" you punch his arm playfully, looking down the dark tunnel trying to get your eyes to adjust, 'No good cant see a thing down here'.

"shall we go" Donnie says happily.

"oh sure", you grab on to Donnie's hand reflexly, This caused him to awkwardly stiffen. "sorry Donnie its just . . . I cant see were I'm going" you say squeezing his hand a little bit.

"t-t-thats ok, we can stay like this till we get there" he said slightly gripping his hand. you guys walked in silence for a while and you decided to break the ice.

"So how long have you been down here?" you say still blindly following Donnie's lead.

"For as long as I can remember, we didn't even leave till we turned 15" he replied

"what did you guys eat all that time?" you asked shocked by this.

"humm, a lot of algae and worms" looking at you as he replied.

"how old are all of you now " you wanted to know if he was older or if you were older.

"were 18 now" he looked up, "how old are you" he asked.

"I turn 17 soon, my birthdays a month away" you say looking at him.

"Did you graduate early from school?" he asked curiously.

" yup, I managed to skip a level. Now I struggle in the jungles of college" you say with dread.

you continue your conversation and arrive at the lair after 10 minutes of walking. You finally see light and Donnie softly lets go of your hand leaving you feeling a little cold. you walk up to what looks like an abandoned station only it looks really homie in here, it looked empty for the most part.

"Hey guys I'm home and I brought (y/n) with me" Donnie called out, not even a second later you hear foot steps rampage there way over.

"(Y/N)!, your here" Mikey said giving you a hug, you pat his shell. Leo and Raph follow behind him walking over to you and Donnie.

"She's Finally here" Raph said followed by Leo.

"welcome to our home, how are your injuries?" Leo askes

"there fine, but uh could you let go a bit" you say with a wherry smile. Mikey was still hugging you and honestly crushing the life out of you. Seeing the discomfort Leo pulls him off you.

"that's enough Mikey let her breathe a bit" he holds him in place. Mikey groans and frowns, you feel a little bad now and whistle to call Kilala the from bag. She popped her head out from the bag and you took her in your arms.

"could you do me a favor Mikey? watch over Kilala while I study, she hasn't played with anyone in a while" you say holding her out to him. Mikey's eyes went from sad to a bright sparkle of amazement.

"OH MY GOSH, She's So Cute" he took her from your hands and ran to the couch.

"you sure that was a good idea" said Raph following Mikey with his eyes.

"I think so, she's pretty smart so if anything she would run away from danger" you look at Mikey. Raph let out a brief laugh.

"so your here to study?" Leo asked folding his arms,

"yeah I have finals coming soon n I could use the help" you meeting his gaze with a stressed look.

"Honestly Donnie wouldn't shut up about you coming over" Raph said with a mischievous tone. from the couch you can here Mikey laugh n add to Raph's comment.

"you should hear him, (y/n) this and (y/n) that" the brothers snicker at this, your gaze drops on Donnie who is a very red.

"I Was Not! I Was Just . . . a bit excited" He rubs the back of his neck, avoiding your gaze. walking past his brothers he takes your hand.

"lets go to my Lab" he said a little irritated from all the teasing. you follow waving at them from behind.

Donnie's POV

He was Very excited knowing you were going to be coming over, 'Yes she's coming over, I can show her all my inventions and maybe get to know her n get a little closer', Grinning at the idea.

"hey Donnie I'm So Bored!" Mikey came in interrupting my thought's.

"(y/n) is coming over to study" he says to Mikey as his look of boredom washed away.

"WHAT Really ?! Yes" He puts his fist in the air running out n telling the others you were coming over. Donnie walks out the lab and is stopped by his brothers.

"you invited your Girlfriend over Don" said Raph with a smirk.

"w-wa She's Not My Girlfriend, she's a Girl that's a Friend, anyways she's just coming over so I can help her that's all" He says in protest to the teasing.

"right, right ~" Raph said back at him.

As he took you to his lab you saw all the cool things around you. 'w-woooooow, there so many cool looking things', your mouth hung open from all the interesting gadgets and lights around you. You see something shiny in the corner of your eye. He talks about his Lab as you walk up to his desk/ work station.

"Donnie what's this" you walk to a Helmet looking thing with wires coming out of it, not touching it you look at him waiting for him to explain.

"Oh that's a Psychic Neuro-Transmitter, it was made for April. She has Psychic abilities and this is how we tested her powers", He explained but looked a little like he was remembering the experience. 'If I didn't know any better its almost like there really close' you ponder.

"hum, is that . . . a robot" you bolt from your spot and admire it. Donnie following letting out small giggles as he looks at you like a kid in a candy store.

"That's Metalhead, he's out of commission though", Donnie said patting the robot on the head

"Whaaaat but he looks so cooool" you whine.

"He got into the Kranng's hands and was to slow so he wasn't very useful in combat" He says walking back to the desk. A small arrange of eggs caught your eye.

"What are the eggs for" you say picking one up with out thinking.

"Those are Ninja Smoke Bomb's, you hollow out the insides and fill it with flash powder, there very useful", He says picking one up himself. Throwing one on the ground he Disappears from in front of you and your eyes grow in amazement only to reappear behind you picking you up and spinning you around, you were having so much fun you forgot about studying until Donnie reminded you.

"We should really get you studying, we can check out the rest of the lab later", you eagerly sit down taking out your books. He follows your lead and sits down leaning his hand on his chin.

"You know your the first person whos ever taken a lot of interest in my lab, everyone else would have gotten bored or stopped paying attention" he says looking a little sad, his expression made your chest tighten a bit.

"How could I Not, this place is amazing and everything in here is so cool" you spin in the chair and stopping back at the desk to face him with a bright smile.

You study with Donnie for about two hours and you feel you understand things more clearly, he was Very helpful and smarter then you thought . . . 'then again he did make this lab all oh his own' you think to your self finishing the last of your notes.

"haaaaaahhh~" you let out as you stretched in the chair leaning back. "I'm So Done", you slump forward and lay on the desk.

"Already?, well I guess it has been two hours" Donnie says looking at the clock. Clapping his hands and getting up he offers to go get us something to drink. You take the opportunity to look around the lab some more and you see a glass cylinder.

". . . a-are those body parts in side" you walk to it with caution and you see it has the full insides of a person.

'are these real!, calm down maybe there's a perfectly good reason for him to have human organs in a glass cylinder', you squat down trying to get a better look when you see eyes open in front of you, this made you lose your balance and fall backwards hitting some tools over with a loud crashing sound.

"(y/n)?! are you ok?" Donnie says running in followed by his brothers.

"what happened" they all said at once.

"y-yeah just got a little spooked is all" you say not moving your eyes from the eyes behind the glass. Donnie picks you back up and starts to explain what it is.

"T-this is Timothy, . . . some things happened with the foot and he got turned into. . . well this, we cant touch him since he's basically made up of acidic acids so he has to be in there for the time being" you see the sadness in his eyes looking back at us. "I'm working on a way to turn him back into a human, him and everyone else that was affected by the mutagen" He had passion in his eyes.

you touch the glass looking in to Timothy's eyes almost like you were drawn to him, ' ww...hh..oo?.uuu~', "what was that?" you say lifting your hand off the glass.

"what was what" one of the turtles asked. all there eyes on you tilting there heads in confusion.

'I thought I heard something just now but . . . maybe I'm just tired', "I think I'm just tired from the eventful day I've had" stretching your arms and letting out a sigh you walk to Mikey and take Kilala for some battery recharge. 'Cuddles are the best~'.

"She was a lot of fun to play with, she can do so many tricks" Mikey said patting her head.

walking out of the lab you make your way to the living room, you were going to take a seat when you heard a stern deep voice.

"I see a new face among you" He clicked his staff on the floor making it echo through the lair.

'wooow that's one big rat, so this is there dad', getting out of your thoughts Quickly you bow and say a greeting out of respect to him.

"S-Sumimasen!, Watashi wa (Y/n) desu." You apologized and said your name, panicked for this is your first impression you gave him you turn red from embarrassment. 'Really, you said it in Japa Freaking Nese, I just panicked and it came out!'.

"Konichiwa, (y/n)" he bowed to me," you know Japanese" he stroked his chin.

Raising your head you look at him, "oh I only know a little bit, I'm studying right now and wish to learn more about Japanese and its culture" you say with a smile.

"I see, may I assume that you were hear getting help" His eyes drop on his sons and then back to you.

"Yes sir" you say., He chuckles.

"Please call me splinter or Master splinter if your more comfortable with that" He walks closer to you and pats your head, you were obviously nervous.

"right, then if you don't mind ill call you Master Splinter" He nods and looks at his sons.

"its rather late make sure she gets home safe before going on patrol" walking back from the room he came out of.

"Hai Sensei" they reply back to him in sync.

After that the turtles escorted you out of the sewer's, Mikey was telling you jokes along the way you thought they were funny but his brothers just rolled there eyes and Groaned in unison.

"What happens when you bring a turtle to a party" said Mikey holding his hands up in front of you.

"hum, tarty ?" you say tilting your head.

"Nope, its called a Shell-ebration" he says dancing around, you laugh at his silly dance moves.

"ok one more" he was interrupted by his brother.

"if you say one more dumb turtle joke i'ma punch you into next week" Raph said glaring at Mikey holding his fist up.

you and Mikey look at each other and shrug your shoulders, he then starts to make faces as Leo explains his plan for patrol and you giggle making Leo turn back. there were tears in your eyes from how hard Mikey was making you laugh.

"what's so funny" Leo turns around.

trying to contain your laughter you reply to him "n-nothing r-really" your shoulders were shaking from the giggles you were holding in, right at that moment Mikey was behind Leo mimicking his moves in a ridiculous fashion, you burst out laughing and Leo turns around.

"Mikey!" Leo yells chasing him down the sewer. trying to stop laughing you calm your breathing and get a little light headed, you grab on to the closest thing and wrap your arm around it. Lucky for you it was Donnie and not Raph, you were pretty sure Raph would glare at you and shrug you off.

"you alright, you were laughing pretty hard", He doesn't try to push you off he matches your pace and lets you use him as support.

"yeah, I'm ok just got a little light headed from laughing a lot, I haven't laughed that hard in a while" you relax as you lean on Donnie's arm still. You can see him smile and turn a slight red.

You finally reached your destination, Raph moved the man hole cover and got out followed by Donnie and then you, the three of them said there goodbyes to you from there.

"See you next time Dudette!" Mikey hugged you and you hug him back.

"see you later" Raph said jumping to the roof top.

"We'll be seeing you" Leo followed.

Donnie helped you back to your balcony and you say your goodbyes for the night.

"thanks for helping me, I'm confident I'll be able to pass my finals now" you smile.

"I'm happy to help, i'll always be here if you need me" he smiles back at you.

you stare into each others eyes, you were interrupted by snickers.

"Just Kiss Already" you hear one of the brothers yell.

Donnie rolls his eyes, he was about to yell back but you caught him off guard.

"good night Donnie" you pull him down and kiss his cheek, you go inside and wave goodbye. You hear a Very loud happy Donnie echo in the night, you smile and head off to bed.
