Leo laughs victoriously as the game ends.
"God, that game will never get old!"
You smile at him, "Yeah, I guess you're right. So, what now?"
Leo looks to the counter at the two unopened pizza boxes, "We could destroy those pizzas."
You sigh to yourself and agree, feeling your stomach ache a little. Leo hops up and exclaims that he would get you both some slices. So, you remain seated and secretly watch him hop around your kitchen, preparing your meals.
He was so charismatic, it was almost funny. With how happy and upbeat he acted, you sometimes wondered just how much he was hurting deep down.
He hummed a popular song that played a bit too much on the radio as he whirled around with two plates in hand. Leo purses his lips and straightens his back, holding one plate in each of his hands; like a butler would. You laugh.
"Here you are, m'lady."
His arm extends as he graciously holds the plate to your face. You happily accept and take a big bite.
Leo lazily crashes besides you, sitting so close that your hips were touching.
You feel a nervous sweat as your stomach flutters. Were you feeling butterflies- or anxiety?
Leo seems oblivious to your shaky hands and red face as he eats his pizza. With a mouth-full he grabs the remote and asks, "Wanna watch Netflix?"
You nod and stuff your face some more, not wanting to draw too much of his attention.
Leo looks so relaxed as he scrolls through Netflix. Eventually, he finds a movie you both liked. He looks at you and smirks, "Eh?" He nudges you a little; inquiring if you wanted to watch it. You smile excitedly and nod. That little gesture causes Leo to get that one look on his face, you know: the dreamy-eye look.

He starts the movie and finishes his last piece of pizza. Leo wipes his mouth with a napkin and sets his plate on the coffee table. You stare at the screen, looking like a chipmunk prepared for winter. Unbeknownst to you, Leo wasn't watching the movie, he was looking at you with pure adoration. He wondered how someone could look so adorable while stuffing their face with pizza.
When you finish your food, you put your plate on the coffee table too. Leo chuckles a little and you quirk a brow at him. He had the biggest smile as he grabbed a napkin and raised it to your face. "What are you-" He hushes you and wipes your mouth. Seconds later, he crumples up the napkin and disguards it with the plates. He gives you a coy look, "You had suce on your face."
You feel heat spread across your face in mild embarrassment, Leo notices and laughs heartily, "Don't worry, it was a great addition." You frown sarcastically and shove his shoulder, making him calm his laughter. He didn't lose his smile though.
For a moment, you both paused and stared at each other.
There was something about the smile he was giving you right now that made the heat in your face spread a little bit.
You were so focused on the trance his smile was putting you in that you didn't notice how he reached out and pulled you into his side. You tense up as you realize he had just played you with his alluring face for snuggles.
Your head was against his shoulder and you couldn't see his face, but that was fine, you were a bit too shy to look him in the eye again. Leo was silent too, it made you wonder what he was thinking about.

About an hour later the movie ended and you both silently watched the end credits. Neither of you had moved or spoken. But now that it was over, there wasn't much choice. Leo was the one to move first. He rubbed your arm as he leaned forward and grabbed the remote.
"So princess, what do ya' wanna watch now?"
You groan in reply. Leo looks down at you; confused. His face twists in amusement at the sight before him. You were falling asleep a little.
"(Y/n), it's the middle of the day, don't fall asleep." He aggressively rocks side to side, jostling you in the process. You screech and escape his hold. "Okay! Okay! Don't give me brain damage please!"
Leo smirks as he leans over and rests his elbows on his knees. "I'd never dream of it, I can't have you forgetting about me~" He was intentionally talking soft and playfully, knowing how much it got to you.
Sure enough, a huge flustered frown plasters to your face and your face turns a faint shade of pink. You cross your arms and scoot far from him. Leo laughs, satisfied. "Sorry, but it was too good to pass up."
You grumble, "I'm gonna get you back for all this."
"How would you do that? You're not the master of pick-up lines and flirting like I am!"
He was right there. Honestly, you wondered how he learned to be such a flirt.
You deadpan at him, "I can do it, just you wait."
Leo shakes his head with a gentle smile, "Alright, I'll give you a chance."
You groan, he had a hefty price to pay.
He was a shifty boi. You had to--- wait.
You smile devilishly
In a quick motion you look up and kiss his cheek
Success.
For a moment he sits there, processing what just happened.
Once the information processes he sits there for a moment.
After he sits in disbelief, his face flushes pink.
Once he's a nice slice of red velvet cake, he stiffens and collapses on his side.
Boys, we got'em.
You die laughing as he cups his face with his hands. That was a quick, but satisfying revenge. "Just so you know that ain't happening again." You say, feeling a few butterflies yourself.
Leo says nothing, he seems to still be in critical condition. You sigh and pat his hip, "There-there my flirtatious fellow, you will survive."
You take the remote and find another movie to watch as he recovers.
As soon as you start a new one, Leo sits up and stares at you with red cheeks and a blank look on his face. It was a bit odd not seeing his condescending smirk. You look around a bit confused- that's when he blurts out--
"Will you go out with me, (Y/n)? Please?"
His face was not one of a cocky player, but rather of a shy young man.
What have you gotten yourself into..
