Weekends are the times Jungkook and Chaeyoung reserved only for them. No video editing, no extra work, no checking students' books and no outsider.
They spend the Saturday going out to the new cafe for breakfast. Ordering different menus so that they can share, talking about random things while knees touching below the table.
But how could Chaeyoung eat peacefully if Jungkook's eyes keep looking at her face?
"You should eating and stop looking at me," she tries to hide her blush by sipping her green tea.
Jungkook chuckles, he eats a spoonful of his fried rice. "It's hard to eat without looking at you. You look beautiful."
Chaeyoung smiles, she knows her face turned redder. "Stop saying that."
"Why?" Jungkook pouts, "It's okay when your student said you're beautiful... but I can't?"
Chaeyoung chuckles as she remembers a few days ago she showed him her students drawing portrait of her with a lot of flowers, and they write beautiful teacher below the portrait.
"They're still kids." She gently kicks his leg below the table.
"And you know kids didn't know to lie, they speak the truth...you're indeed beautiful." Jungkook smiles.
"Fine, so where are we going after this?"
"Where do you want to go? shopping? movies? or eating again?" He asked.
She taps her chin as if thinking about their plan for today, "Hmmm...how about we bought DVDs or rent some classic movie, then we go groceries shopping for yours and mine...then we go buy pastries for dessert and then I will cook for lunch in your apartment and we can watch a movie after-"
"We really need a proper plan." He cuts her off, eyes looking at her with a smile.
Chaeyoung frowns, "Mhmm? should we list down what we want to do for weekends?"

Jungkook chuckles, his left hand reaches hers on the table. "No, I mean proper planning for us." His fingers brush against her empty ring finger.
Chaeyoung smiles shyly. She doesn't know what exactly Jungkook thinks in his head, but all she knows is, she would agree to whatever plan he had.
"What's your plan?" Her voice is soft. She sees Jungkook's cheeks blushing.
It's funny how they have been a couple for years but somehow they still find themselves blushing over certain things.
"I want you to move in with me..." his eyes look at her. He had thought about this since a few months ago. But he was scared it will make her uncomfortable.
"I need to inform my housemates first, it will be hard for them to pay the rent-"
"No," he chides in. "It doesn't mean today or next week, maybe next month? we can find a new housemate to replace you." He squeezes her hand, relief she didn't refused the idea.
Chaeyoung chuckles and nods her head. "Okay..."
Jungkook smiles happily, "But you should slowly move your things to my apartment. Maybe I can help you carry your things on Monday? after work?"
Chaeyoung laughs looking at Jungkook's excited face, the foam from his sweet latte smudge above his lips.
"I thought you said next month. We have time so don't need to rush," she said before leaning her body forward to gently swipe her thumb along the edge of Jungkook's mouth, tracing his upper lip.
Jungkook's heartbeat quickens as he sees Chaeyoung lick her thumb before smile at him. He can't help but feels something by the unintentional bold gesture from her.
Now, there's no way he could wait till next month. "But you can move out anytime as long as we find the new housemate to replace you, right?"
"I don't think it's easy," Chaeyoung replies mindlessly as she finishing her food.
Jungkook didn't say anything, but he knows the faster he could find a replacement for her, the faster she will move to his apartment.
"Should we go now?" he stood up, excited to leave to follow her today's plan, at the same time mentally giving himself 3 days to look for the new housemate.

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar. The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more. The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn. But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore. The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore. They don't know what really happened. They were never there. They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone. But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements. Toothpick
“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
