It's not as though Park Chaeyoung intentionally wants to pry, but she can't help but feel curious when his phone continues to ring throughout the long drive.
As much as she knows she shouldn't, she wonders whether it's Park Sooyoung.
The first few times his phone rang, he simply told her to ignore it, claiming that it was probably just a few sasaengs who had gotten ahold of his number, but after the fourth time he holds out his phone and asks her to help turn it off. He apologises too, for not doing it earlier, realising that it's a miracle that the pair hadn't woken up Dongsun. As she takes the phone, the screen lights up and her curious eyes cannot help but look at the caller id.
"It's your manager," she informs him, "...maybe you should take it, it could be important."
Carefully, she turns her eyes and watches the nervousness in his expression. She wonders what it is that has him acting so weird...
"Turn it off," he firmly tells her.
She doesn't, instead Park Chaeyoung answers the phone and puts it on speaker.
"Jeon Jungkook where the heck are you? All the boys are waiting! Why aren't you in your apartment?"
At the realisation, Park Chaeyoung's eyes widen in shock (and horror) and she mouths "what?" at him.
He simply takes a deep breath, "... I'm sorry, I'm sick. I'll let you know when I'm feeling better, bye—"
Before his manager could respond, he hangs up the call and turns off the phone on his own.
"Jungkook, why did you do that? You told me you had no schedule!" She exclaims, mouth dropping slightly in complete shock, "... what if you get in trouble?"
A small smile tugs on his lips, "... it's fine, I knew you wouldn't let me come if I told you I had schedule. I'm still waiting for an answer... by the way."
She looks up at him, "... and answer?"
"My confession, don't tell me you've forgotten?"
How could she forget?

Jeon Jungkook learns that his son loves to play in water. The two play on the edge of the sand for what he imagines is close to an hour, when the younger boy turns to him. He works hard to make a big sandcastle for him, only after a few minutes, a big wave comes and causes the castle to come crumbling down. His face drops in complete shock (and partly sadness) as he turns to Dongsun who's simply giggling.

"Seems like uncle Jungkook is more upset than you," Park Chaeyoung's sweet and honey-like voice resonates in a giggle of her own.
He thinks he could get used to it.
Time alone spent with the woman that he loves and his son because despite the fact that most of his body was covered in sand, he felt content.
He felt at peace.
"Mommy, I want to get into the water!" Dongsun tugs at her yellow sundress, "... can we go in?"
She nods, turning to him, "... will you join us?"
Jeon Jungkook does hesitate to carrying Dongsun in his arms before rushing into the water, earning squeals of excitement by the young boy. A few minutes pass and she hadn't joined, and so he turns to face the sand to watch her, walking to them in a cropped two piece swimsuit.
Holy shit, he thinks he almost as a nosebleed right there on the spot.
"Mommy!" Dongsun cheers, holding his hands out to her, gesturing for her to carry him and as he quickly hands the young boy to her, his eyes cannot help but look at the way her chest squeezes together as she carries him.
Get your mind out of the gutter!
"Are you having fun?" She turns to him, a bright and joyful smile across her face, "... it's been a while since I went to a beach."
"Can we go again tomorrow? And the day after that? And everyday till we get old?" Dongsun questions excitedly.
The three laugh together.
-
Jeon Jungkook takes the time to finally face reality and respond to the other boys and his manager, who are not only confused but rightfully angry at him. He knows he was irresponsible, but a moment like this seldom occurred and he simply didn't know how to explain it—at least, not when Dongsun's identity was meant to be a secret. As he sends a few apology texts, Kim Namjoon orders a meeting as soon as he's back on Monday morning. He agrees, though honestly doesn't know what he'll end up explaining.
The young of Dongsun's voice can be heard from the living room of the villa, and Jeon Jungkook can't help but get up and watch from afar, as the door was slightly opened to see her sitting on the side of the bed, tickling him.
"That's why you need to sleep or else the tickle monster will come again!" She cheerily tells him, causing for Dongsun to smile in glee, "... I love you, sweet dreams baby."

"I love you so much mommy, thank you for taking me to the beach and bringing uncle Jungkook," he responds giving her a kiss before she finishes tucking him in bed.
As she gets out, her eyes widen in surprise to see him.
"Oh, Jungkook," she smiles, "... Dongsun said he's so happy you came."
"Thank you, Chaeyoung. For letting me come, I had a lot of fun," he tells her.
"Are you sleepy yet?" She questions him.
He shakes his head.
"Then should we sit in the living room and talk for a little?"
-
Park Chaeyoung sits on the side of the couch, opposite to where the pillow was. She'd offered to book another room, but the only room available was opposite side to hers, and he said he'll just sleep in the couch. When she said she could sit on the floor as they spoke, he wouldn't allow it.
It's silence as she waits for him, watching as he remerges with two watermelon juices from the fridge.
"Here's your kid-friendly, alcoholic free beverage," he jokes, holding it out as they clinged their glasses together, "... cheers."
She smiles, in the type of smile that was enough to put the sun to shame.
"Are you in trouble?" She questions him, "... with your manager, I mean."
He nods, "... but it's okay, it's worth the scolding."
She chuckles, rolling her eyes, "... you've never been one to abide by the rules. You used to always take me home past curfew."
"Hey," he frowns, putting his juice on the coffee table in front of them, "... don't act like you didn't like it."
"I won't confirm nor deny," she responds, "... is it everything you dreamed of? Debut, where you are now, all the awards and fame?"
He pauses.
Everything he achieved was lovely and great, but there was always something missing.
His eyes simply look to hers, as he gulps, wondering whether he'll ever get the chance to call her his again.
"Chaeyoung, I'm sorry for everything that happened that night. Not even because of the pregnancy you had to go through alone, but after a few months without you—it became clear to me that you were the one who made me happy," he whispers, "... I'm sorry, for it all."
"It's okay," she takes a deep breath, putting down her own drink as she puts her hand on top of his, grazing the top of his palm with the tip of her thumb, "... we were so young, back then. We didn't know what we were doing."
His eyes are low, falling onto her lips, "... but I've really, never stopped loving you."
Park Chaeyoung looks up at him, "... my feelings haven't changed since we were teenagers, but—I don't want to rush, I want to take things slowly, Jungkook."
He too, wants to do what's right.
"As long as it's with you, any speed is fine."
She knows, she should be careful.
But could she be blamed for falling in love with him?
-
By morning, Park Chaeyoung wakes up to the feeling of fingertips on her face. She opens her eyes to see Jeon Jungkook's arms wrapped around hers, under a blanket on the couch, barely squinting at the sudden light in the room. On the other side is Dongsun has the biggest smile on his face.
"At school, my friends said that if a man and a woman hug each other in the blanket, then a baby will be born. Am I getting a little brother or sister, mommy?" He looks at them with crystal eyes, full of excitement, "... I'm going to be a big brother! Yay!"
Oh. No.
Park Chaeyoung turns to him, watching as he chuckles. She hits his arm playfully.
"Jungkook! This is serious," she glares at him, making it clear that this was a very serious matter.
He quickly gets up, carrying the young boy outside as he starts telling him about how he was just massaging her and that they weren't hugging, and how the truth was, babies fell from a magical stork. Dongsun groans in disappointment.
Just as that happens, Park Chaeyoung turns on the television screen as she begins to tidy up and fold the extra blanket when...
Breaking news, a source confirms that Park Chaeyoung of BLACKPINK is a single mother of a four year old boy! A reputable source says that the father of her four year old child is a fellow idol however, no news yet into the official announcement. There has been no statement yet from YG Entertainment.

A Generic Dungeon Core Story
When one falls… what happens? Do they just disappear into an endless abyss? Do they got to a final resting place to lay forever? Do they get to look down proudly upon the world from the clouds or look up in regret as they are burned and tortured? One man… person found out the hard way as he fell into a dark abyss after having surely died only to found himself awake again with most of his memories and knowledge blocked of as he was reincarnated into a 10ft cube as a small glowing sky blue orb…. This is my first actual foray to the world of webnovels as I’ve never wrote any stories before… *cough cough * edgy horny filled teenage fanfics do not count whatsoever *cough cough*. I am very new to the world of novels and I am not a native English speaker so expect a lot of grammar mistakes. The story will update on weekends on Saturday or whenever I feel like uploading as I do not have much free time and this is only a novel I write to improve my writing skills. What can you expect from the story? - Dungeons? Of course, this is the main theme of the story. - Multiple leads? Yes, there will be multiple perspectives from many different characters with at least 4 main characters. - Gamelit? The world is ruled by a system… that does absolutely nothing other than a way to view your stats and progression. - Murder hole? No, the lead character has a challenging yet fair view on how dungeons should operate, don’t get me wrong as he will still kill people if they are evil, careless or overestimate their abilities but don’t expect too much death as I feel that most adventurers would be smart enough to know their abilities especially when they have to do it themselves instead on relying on skills or the system. - Cultivation? No, the ability to gain power from sitting still and breathing never made any sense to me and it will be completely broken if the MC gets their hands on it so… no. - Non-human MC? Yes, they are a dungeon after all and yes, dungeons do get avatars but it is a specialized procedure that many choose not to do. Also, if the dungeon gets an avatar, no he will not be some wish giving demigod or whatever. - Magic? Yes, but it is very limited and down to the ground... from my notes... which means nothing - Art? Yes, I’m a hobbyist-artists so expect some art sketches here and there… I am poor so I do not have line art pens or tablets or adobe photoshop… also no scanners so… pictures of pencil-sketches it is, no coloring though since I am terrible at coloring. - Comedy? Yes, if you can call my bad attempts at humor comedy. - Likeable characters? Hopefully… especially since I accidentally made like... 60 characters … how I made 6 originals into 60?… I have no idea whatsoever… - Adventurers/invaders/delvers/etc…? Yes! My favorite part about dungeon core novels are when delvers delve into the dungeon and reading how they react, I will definitely flesh out the delvers and show how they operate more than usual hopefully. Hopefully you like the story, I will not have a patreon or paypal or whatever mostly because I’m under 18, thanks for at least reading this far and I hope that my writing is at least passable and you enjoy the story… if not then at least I got some writing practice in English.
