"Hardly. I don't know Jacob, that's a tough situation to be in. What are you going to do if Edward comes back?"

"He doesn't sound like he is."

"Listen Jacob, I'm not going to tell you what to do, just be careful okay? You're a great kid and I don't want to see you get hurt."

"You're only three years older than me." He complained.

"Which is why you should heed my advice. Just be open to the possibility that things might not always work in your favor. Who knows? The love of your life may be closer than you think."
