H E N R Y
i am slightly drunk.
i can tell this from the way my words are slurring; the way i stumble rather than walk; and from the way thinking seems very, very difficult all of a sudden. all i really want to do is go to bed for a year and eat lots of crisps.
(although that kind of thought isn't really that rare for me.)
as a result, i don't really to want so say, think, or do very much. unfortunately, isaac wants me to do the exact opposite.
"um," he says, raising his voice a little to speak over whatever crappy christmas song was now playing in the background, "an answer might be nice?"
answer, henry, i told myself sternly.
"i," i started, and then stopped.
that's good. now just a few more words and you'll have a whole sentence.
"i don't really know," i continue, and my shoulders slump. "i don't really know at all. that's the problem."
"can't you try to know?" isaac asks, sounding horrifically sober. "please? for me?"
"maybe i don't want to know," i reply, and look down at the ground.
i can almost see the frown on isaac's face. "a - are you scared to know? maybe the last time you knew... something went wrong? someone -"
"i think we've gone a bit far with this analogy," i whispers.
"maybe," he mutters back. "but c'mon, hen. just give me answer. yes or no."
"now?"
"now."
"how about... friends?"
i look back up; isaac is still frowning. "that wasn't an option?"
"i know," i say. "but think about it. we both have shit to sort out, but we still get to see each other - in a totally platonic, non liking-each-other way - and talk and maybe go shopping together because what you're wearing right now is hideous -"

"thanks," isaac says, surly. "but i'm not sure this is going to work."
"of course it will," i say brightly. "it'll be like before, but one hundred times better. you'll see."
but as we head back into the house, i can't help thinking that it might be a lot worse.

The Nightcore Trilogy
Going to space was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime, but for Reece Danielson and his crew, it was only the beginning. As the fresh astronauts aboard the Zhengzhou International Space Station start their on-the-job training, Reece is shown a discovery that changes his entire worldview. It isn’t long before a tragic accident aboard the station sets off a series of events that not only puts the crew in danger but at odds with each other. The events quickly escalate into a man-made apocalyptic incident on the surface of the planet. A virulent plague is prematurely released which transforms everyone into flesh-eating undead, and that is only the beginning of the troubles. There are far worse things down there than zombies and possibly a few of them lurk on the station itself. The Nightcore Trilogy thematically begins with a heavy sci-fi feel coupled to a gritty space-based horror mystery. The story's layers are slowly peeled back, evolving into something much more supernatural, mythological, and high-fantasy-based. It's a mix of elements from survival horror, zombie apocalypses, ancient mythologies, supernatural stories, and harem anime. It contains semi-descriptive sex scenes (traditional and non-traditional), descriptions of gore, profanity, and adult situations, so I recommend it for mature and open-minded audiences only.

The Darkness of the Sun
In the island of Draca, the word Possession has a singular meaning – the Possessed are taken to King Iretsa’s castle, a journey from which no one returns, alive or dead. When Jubi’s beloved father is Possessed, she determines to save him. But her quest is upended when she finds that her father has joined the monsters. He demands that she does the same. If she consents, immortality-in-dribbles will be hers; a refusal will mean deathlessness - of the less enticing kind.

Welcome to Devos
Welcome to a world where humor, drama, and action clash in epic tales spanning a vast continent....Welcome to Devos An anime styled medieval fantasy world featuring heroes, gods, and demons in a grounded and story/character focused series. A world where the gods of power bestow elemental abilities on those they find worthy. Welcome to Devos is broken up into parts, each part is more or less a complete story that expands the world, characters, and kingdoms of Devos. It plays out a lot like Game of Thrones where instead of a lead character you have an entire cast, each one getting plenty of time to develop over the course of the series. It is a relatively grounded, character and story-driven adventure that focuses on people of interest and their relationships with each other, their nations, and the eight gods of power. While the story features a good blend of light and dark themes it can get really grim at times. The continent of Devos is comprised of 5 territories, they include the three kingdoms of Verdun, Ashmir, and Vespa along with the territories of two demon lords to the north and south. The time period and setting are basically what you would find in a fantasy anime. There are eight gods of power which wield eight different elements and have the ability to "bless" individuals with certain abilities. Monsters roam the wilderness and the ruins/dungeons that are scattered throughout the landscape. Adventurers complete quests, hunt monsters, and explore the vast continent. We've got heroes, demon lords, gods, spys, special operations assault teams, phantom eagles, kings & queens, cursed chickens, talking goblins, and a whole shit ton more already in with plenty more coming soon.

Aggravated Defense (Progression LitRPG)
A quick TL;DR pitch. LitRPG Apocalypse with group progression, a non-overpowered mc, a limited skill-slot System where having a single skill over your opponent could make a big difference. A barrier mage mc who isn’t an Edgelord A sentient System that’s a character in its own right. And no harem or cheat skills. ~<>~<>~ Steven knew the world had ended when a great green and purple dome covered the city of Anchorage. Then things got weirder. First earthquakes, then bolts fell from the sky, changing and twisting the things they hit. Steven, stuck in the throes of apathy, had sought shelter out of boredom more than anything else. But when some fellow survivors are separated and trapped by a rampaging moose, an emotion breaks through his apathy. He can’t turn away. Some people say it’s everyone for themselves at the end of the world. Steven disagreed ~<>~<>~ Will update every Sunday and Tuesday at 9:00am, unless the chapter is beefy, then we'll just have one that week. For some more meta details about this story, it’s a LitRPG Apocalypse with a focus on abilities and how they are used over stats and numbers. It will have group progression, a non-overpowered protagonist, and a focus on unique and interesting classes. No overwhelming advantages for the main crew or broken cheat skills. No harem, some amount of gore, decent levels of profanity.
