《Haikyuu!! AUs (x Reader)》Kageyama Tobio - HIT 'EM IN THE EYE

School. The word alone made you cringe.
You were in the one of the worst students out there. Being incapable of concentrating and unable to understand what was written on the board, you were dubbed one of the 'lucky' people to have both ADHD and dyslexia. These problems provoked you to skip classes most of the time, making your grades drop a fair bit.
That's why you were at a local park instead. You came here most of the time. It was very large, hundreds of acres were taken up only by woods and only a small section of the park was for pedestrians, and a majority of that was filled with sakura trees.
You spent your time in the forest. People didn't trek through it most of the time, making the woods a perfect hideout.
Your legs were hanging off the edge of a large branch a couple metres above the ground. It was very peaceful outside. A cool breeze blew through the trees and trough your (H/L) (H/C) hair (that was pulled into a ponytail if your hair is long). It was calm and relaxing.
That was until a girly screech was heard through the woods, startling some of the wild life.
"KageBAKA! Save Me!"
"I Can't You Idiot! I'm Tryin—GWAA!!"
The yells went through your ears before you felt a large impact hit you in... well, everywhere.
You soon found yourself splayed on the ground, a couple metres bellow from the branch you were previously sitting on.
"GAH! Sorry!"
Weight was lifted off of you and you looked up to see a tall boy. Black hair stuck to his forehead as he stared at you with dark blue eyes. He had a frightening aura which was because of the glowing sword in his right hand.
You stood up and dusted the dirt and leaves off of your baggy black sweater and blue jeans. You were about to question the boy but you were interrupted by more screaming.
"Kageyama! Get back here I need HEL—" the girlish voice yelled again before, what was most likely a person, hit the tree truck a few metres away from the two of you.
A small redhead was sliding down the tree groaning.
The two wore similar clothing, orange shirt. "You idiot! They're going to get away!" The taller one grabbed your wrist and the left foot of the redhead and pulled you both in the direction they came from.
"Hinata, did you even aim for their eyes?"
"... you're supposed to aim for the eye? I never you that, Kageyama, you're so smart!" The one now known as Hinata yelled.

Hinata escaped Kageyama's grasp and jumped to his feet running ahead swigging a dagger that seemed to appear from mid air.
"YOU DUMBASS! WAIT FOR M—US!" Kageyama, let go of your wrist and pulled out a dagger from one of the sheaths attached to his belt and handed it to you.
"Do you know how to fight?" he said plainly.
"You expect me to know how to use a dagger? Bitch, I can barely use a pencil!"
"Well then try the dagger! Jeez demigods and their attitudes."
"I heard that." You grabbed the dagger from his hand and followed Hinata, who was still jumping around the trees.
He never runs out of energy. Where does it all come from? Maybe a shit load of sugar.
"So, you are a demigod." Kageyama appeared back beside you, keeping up with your quick pace.
"A Demi Lovato? Sorry dude, I ain't famous."
"A demigod. You know, half god half human?"
"Never heard of 'em."
"Ugh, just help us kill those things!" Kageyama yelled pointing to the two large bodies that stood in front of the three of you.
"GAAH!" The emitting from you throat grabbed the cyclopes attention.
You stared and studied their physique for future reference. They had little hair on their heads and even less clothing that only just managed to cover their vital regions, green tinted skin that seemed to be rotting and almost incapable of holding them together, all along with giant wooden clubs that dragged on the ground behind them because of their bad posture. They were huge, at least four metres tall and were definitely wider than your grandma's minivan.
Hinata ran ahead and took a large jump to be face to eye —which was the same size as his torso— with the first Cyclops and whipped his dagger toward its brown iris.
The eye immediately closed around the dagger and the Cyclops staggered around because of his lack of sight. Kageyama ran toward it with his sword and took a swing at its stomach. The Cyclops failed to dodge the glowing weapon and got stabbed. Its body evaporated into grey dust and disappeared.
As Hinata picked up his dagger from the pile of dust the second monster took large steps toward the two before raising its club in the air. It was about to swing down when you took action.
You ran forward and copied the movements that Hinata used beforehand, jumping almost twice your height and swinging your (dominant) arm back. Your arm whipped your dagger at the eye of the beast. The Cyclops's club swung in your direction just as you let go of the weapon and sadly you couldn't dodge it.

Pain enveloped your body when you smashed into a nearby tree.
Your cry of pain is what got the attention of the two boys back. Hinata ran in the direction that you were thrown in and Kageyama took slashes at the big brute.
"Kageyama! I Think She's Dead!" Hinata struggled to pick up your body which was sprawled at the base of an oak tree.
Kageyama's opponent burst into a ball of dust with one last slash and he ran in your direction.
Once he got to the tree's base, he slid his sword into his sheath, knelt down beside you and across from Hinata. Lifting his right hand, he brought his middle and index finger to the base of your jaw, underneath the joint, and checked your pulse.
Kageyama used his left hand and hit the side of Hinata's head.
"Idiot! Don't make me worry like that! She's fine, just give her a bit of nectar. She'll probably wake up once we get to camp."
He gently picked you up with his arms underneath you, supporting your limp body.
"Ah... Kageyama-kun, did we even find out her name?"
Kageyama stopped in his tracks —which made Hinata look back and him and cease from walking ahead— and looked at your sleeping face that was pushed up against his chest. A light blush dusted his cheeks from looking at your slightly mushed face.
"Don't tell me, you're falling for a girl you don't even know the name of?" Hinata's tone of voice made the situation weirder than it was.
Kageyama just scoffed at his accusation.

When you woke up, you found yourself in a bed with a new outfit that matched the ones that the boys you met wore. The room you were in looked like a cabin of sorts with shelving cabinets and a few beds.
"Ah so your awake, welcome to Camp Half-Blood, you'll be safe from monsters here." A girl walked into the room. She had black hair the went just past her shoulders and glasses that framed her face well. She wore a matching outfit to the one that you had on.
"My name's Kiyoko. How are you feeling? From what I've heard you tool quite a beating with some Cyclopes the other day."
"I'm feeling alright, a little sore," you replied quietly, trying to figure out why you were here.
"You took quite the hit in the woods. A few bumps and bruises but nothing severe."
You nodded stretching your body a bit.
The door burst open and in came Kageyama and Hinata.
"What's your name?!" The blue eyed teen yelled pointing at you.
"I'm (Y—Y/N)." You were slightly shaken by his sudden outburst.
"See, Hinata, now I'm not falling for a girl I don't know the name of!" he yelled again now pointing a finger at the redhead.
"F—falling for?" you asked.
Kageyama's arm fell, realizing what he had just done.
"...uh."
Hinata grabbed Kiyoko's arm and pulled her out of the building. "Well, we better go! Come on Kiyoko-senpai!"
Before the two left, Kiyoko turned to Kageyama.
"There are condoms in the top drawer on the left. Use the properly."
Once they left Kageyama's face turned bright red as if he was going to explode.
"We're not using those."
"Nope."
Kageyama shook of his awkwardness and sat down on the edge of the bed next to your knee.
"Thanks for saving us back there."
"Well, I couldn't just stand there." You sat up in the bed and placed a hand on his shoulder, flashing him a smile. "And besides if I didn't do that I most likely wouldn't be having a conversation with a handsome boy right now." You smirked slightly seeing his flushed face.
"H—handsome?"
"Huh? When did I say that?" you said sarcastically. You wanted to play around a bit.
"Jeez demigods and their attitudes," he whispered.
"I heard that."
"You were supposed too."
"Ugh. I can put up with a Cyclops but not you." You threw your hands up in exasperation.
Kageyama was surprised that you weren't confused and freaked out like most demigods were on their first day of camp. You could've gotten killed by a Cyclops and you were acting as though it was an everyday thing.
"At least I'm smarter than them."
"Ya, that's all I'll give you."
"Hey! I can kill you, ya know," he replied
"Anything is better than school," you said laying back of the bed.
"Why did you do that anyway? Saving us, I mean."
"Easy. If I didn't, I wouldn't be talking to you now." You looked at him with a cute smile.
"You're so cheesy."
"Get used to it, boyfriend," you said closing your eyes and drifting of to sleep.
"Huh?! Hey! Don't Just Leave Me Hanging Like That!"
But you were already knocked out.
Kageyama stood up and walked to the wooden door opening it slightly. His head turned back in your direction.
"Sweet dreams," he said before heading off into camp.

: Did you make good use of those condoms?
Hinata, I'm giving you three seconds to run.
*scurries off into the woods*
Dumbass.
