《Haikyuu One Shots》Kenma Kozume

Kenma Kozume x Reader
He can be affectionate, despite how little he shows it in public. He'll hug you and sometimes even kiss your cheek, but only when you two are alone together.
His best memory with you was when you two went on a "double date" with Kageyama and Hinata. Kageyama and Hinata refused to call it a double date even though both of you knew they were dating. Kenma had such a fun time, he was even genuinely smiling at multiple points.
Neither really, but he can stand cats more than dogs.
His dreams are a bit on both sides of the spectrum. On one hand he wants to lead a quiet life, maybe with you, at a job that leaves him out of any spotlight. However there are some times when he dreams of becoming some type of professional gamer. But he's not sure if he wants that kind of attention just yet.
He spends pretty much his whole day playing video games, but some nights he'll read a book for fun if he's completed all the games he has. If he's ever leaving the house anytime after volleyballs its the works of Kuroo.
Kenma likes to not think about your first date. The thought it of it makes him want to curl into himself and disappear. You were very sweet and payed for the food you two went out for. He just hates how distant he acted and how awkward he thought he made it, and people were definitely staring.
Not much makes him laugh, theres pretty much only one thing that does. You learned from Kuroo that Kenma is ticklish, so those are the only tines you've heard him laugh.
He enjoys hugs when you two are alone. Sometimes when you two are outside his or your house he'll let you hug him, since he feels somewhat hidden. Usually his hugs are a bit stiff and awkward, but you're beginning to break him out of his shell and his hugs are getting better.

He tried to learn how to play piano when he was younger but stopped playing once his parents started suggesting he try performing.
Getting a new video game and beating games makes him very happy. Of course, spending time with you makes him rather happy, especially when he can make you smile. He wouldn't admit any of this allowed though.
His kisses are very shy, and he's still not very good at kissing you. But you find it sweet that he tries.
He tries go act like his crush on you was nothing at all. He just ignored it for his entire first year at Nekoma until Kuroo somehow found out. Kenma was very quiet around you, and you thought he hated you for the longest time.
Winning his first volleyball game. He likes to say he doesn't care about that stuff, but the first win stayed fresh in his mind forever.
PDA. He doesn't like seeing other couples kissing in the hall and might die if you even attempted to try to.
Becoming a professional gamer would be a dream job of his, but thinking realistically he's not sure if he could handle hundreds of people watching him play and talk about him.
He doesn't want to be a parent. He doesn't think he'd be a good dad and doesn't want children.
Not at all. He usually politely calls people's ideas ridiculous if they start talking about aliens, ghosts, or weird conspiracy theories.
He's not very romantic. He sometimes tries to be by quietly complimenting you or kissing you in private. Kenma is not one to flirt or be overly affectionate. He can be sweet, but he's not all over you.
His smiles are small, but they usually are caused by video games. If he beats a game or if you get him a game he's been wanting for awhile it puts a smile on his face.

He's almost never clingy, its a golden moment to hear him whining for you to stay. If he's spent hours resting his head on your shoulder or lap and you go to get up he'll unintentionally say, "You're going?" Usually he corrects himself and tries to pretend that he didn't say that, but it never really works.
You don't mind when he plays video games often, but it is a bit annoying when you two are or were talking and he's too interested in his game.
Not at all, if he's on his phone its becuase he's texting Kuroo or Hinata or playing a game. If you take a picture or video of him, he'll get upset and want you to delete it.
It was really small, no more than close friends and immediate family. He hated all the attention on him, but he was happy that you were happy and your dress was beautiful.
He likes gardening. He has a lot of flowers and plants in his room.
He doesn't like coffee, the smell or the taste. He tried to drink it for a bit to keep him more awake, but he just didn't like anything about it and now he hates it.
He's a light sleeper. Any somewhat loud noise is going to wake him up. This usually causes him to wake up groggy since he woke up at least four times throughout the night.

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx. Moonblood
Five moons rise over Evanir, each in her own cycle, and each moon is also a god, one of five sisters. Many gods create spirit attendants and companions, brought forth fully-formed. Long ago, the moons worked together to create a lineage that are, instead, humans transformed by the mingling of blood. They intended them to be long-lived and to draw their strength directly from the light of the moon who chose each individual. The five sisters had different goals in mind – one wanted it to be a blessing for scholars and artists, to give them more time and fewer physical distractions; another wanted them to have an animal form, different for each, to keep them more in tune with nature so they could serve as guardians of the wilderness. There are drawbacks to their children having human lives and personalities before being chosen: not all share the goals of their divine mothers, and some choose to put their gifts to darker uses. Those carrying the blood of one woman, fleeing the corruption in search of a quiet life, take a different path. -=-=-=-=- Moonblood isn't so much a novel as a series of adventures of varying length. They involve a core group of people, which does grow over time. They take place in a fairly low-magic world, but despite that, our core cast are directly connected to the moons and have various abilities, including limited shapeshifting to a single individual animal form. As with all my work, unless gender, orientation, or other aspects of sexuality are explicitly stated, I suggest not making assumptions. Probably most significant, I think, is a major trans character who appears about 80K words in - no spoilers, just a note for those who care about that one way or the other.

Schwarzesmarken '86
3 years after the dramatic conclusion of the Stasi coup attempt, Theodor Eberbach, who had made a new life for himself in the United Kingdom, returns to mainland Europe following rumors of the survival of Katia Waldheim as humanity is pushed back to a few strongholds by the BETA. Originally written for Muv Luv threads on a certain imageboard, I'm posting it here so I don't lose it. Don't expect me to finish this as it has been around 2 years since I worked on it and I am working on an original writing project, but some feedback would be appreciated.
