"General (Y/L/N)!" Echo shouts. "How are supposed to destroy the control base? There's only four of us!"
As we run along the alarm-blaring corridors of the droid control ship, I yell back, "four is better then none, soldier! We will give all we've got!" It was quite difficult to hear over the sounding alarm. After a droid caught us hiding out in the landing bay, the whole entire ship went to havoc.
I hear the sound of armor rolling against the floor. Skidding to a stop, I turn to see Wolffe getting up. He picks up a piece of scrap metal, and flings it behind him. "Blast!" The trooper complains.
"Here," I bend down and grasp his blaster, then hand it to him.
He takes it, "thank you, sir." I nod, and turn around and start running again. The footsteps of boots echo through the empty halls of the ship. It didn't stay empty for long though.
We all stop to two droidekkas rolling and cocking their firepower directly in front of us. Not to mention, we were exposed. Our feet act before our brains, and we all scurry behind an archway. Echo and Fox take the right side of the arch with me, and Wolffe and Red take the left.
I ignite my lightsaber, "cover me!" The squad brings their blasters up into position, and I move out into the open. Blaster fire from my boys start to fill my vision, but don't do any damage to the droids. When the droids shoot through their near impenetrable shielding around them, I let the Force guide my hands to their fire, blocking each one. Stepping forward, I prepare to destroy the droidekkas. As I'm about to finish off the right ones shield, a blue luminescent comes around the corner and beats me to it. Instead of the right, I take the left, destroying it's shield and sticking my lightsaber through it. The droid slumps, and dies with a mechanical hum.
I look over to the young Jedi slicing through the droid just like I had done. "I told you to stay with the ship!" I scold Von.
"What if I didn't destroy that rolling disgrace, master?" Von smirks. The rest of my squad joins me and my young apprentice.
"Then I would of," I suggest. "It would be wise of you to follow my orders, especially if you want to become the youngest Knight."

The Jedi shrugs, "you want it for me more than I want it for myself, master." Man, could this kid bug.
"That's not exactly something you want to tell your master, kid," Fox laughs. I was glad I had the troops with me, so I didn't have to entertain Von until more action shows up. Especially Fox. He always made Von laugh, and was the only one willing to spend some actual time with the kid.
Von gives a sly smile, "there's plenty of other things you wouldn't want me saying to her." I roll my eyes and laugh along with the rest of the squad.
Blue nudges him, "ah, you're too good, kid. Too good." Von's expression goes from laughter to frustration. He hated when they called him "kid," but he never told them. But hey, there was always a first for anything.
"I'm not a kid," he whines.
I pat his back, "oh Von." The Padawan jerks away at my touch. "We ought to get going," I decide.
"Yes sir," all of my troops say in unison. We continue down the hall, but this time in a swift walk instead of sprint. As we pass door after door, we finally reach the control bridge. I grab my lightsaber. When I'm about to storm into the bridge, Red stops me.
"Hey boss, lemme handle this one," he insists confidently.
I laugh, "leave some of those pieces of scrap for me, eh?"
Behind me, I hear "aw man he gets it?" and "lucky Red."
"No promises," Red pulls up his heavy blaster. It was an automatic, machine gun-like blaster. His index finger rested on the trigger.
Red steps into the room unnoticed. He hoists the blaster up a bit, getting a better grip on it. "Here we go," he mutters.
"Welcome to the Republic, clankers!" Red shouts, firing the gun left to right. Within seconds, the whole entire control room was cleared. He turns to me, "I said no promises."
I shrug, "you owe me next mission."
"Deal." We all walk forwards. I search the control panel, when I find the gravitational stabilizer.
"Von," I call out. "Come here."
Von stands next to me, "yes master?"
"Would you like the honors?" I gesture towards the switch that turns off the stabilizer. He looks at the switch, then to me. A smirk creeps up on his face, and he flicks it off. Suddenly, we jerk forward at the sudden fall of the control ship. I take out my comlink, "Eltoo, Eltoo? Eltoo do you copy?" My droid responds with a few beeps and whistles. "Yea yea, we got it, as you can see. You know, it'd be really helpful if you could get us a ship over here!" I shout as we fall into deep dark space. Eltoo beeps again, and now we wait.

"There!" Wolffe points out Eltoo and the ship just ahead of us.
I ignite my lightsaber, "get ready!" As I hurtle towards the glass panel, I put the oxygen bead up to my mouth. My gaze turns to Von for a brief second, hoping he did the same. Luckily, he remembered and has it in his mouth jumping through the air with me. We all approach the window, me smashing through first so everyone else can get through quickly. Once we get into space, I feel the control of gravity leave, and I begin to drift. But I maneuver my arms, as if I was swimming. Like in Naboo with Anakin. If I want to see Anakin again, I need to get to the ship. He was my motivation, my drive, my sole purpose for living.
Finally, I reach the ship, and lend Fox and Red a hand. Both take my hand and nod their heads, followed by a "thank you, sir," then gripping onto the side of the ship. I nod my head, as I am unable to talk.
Once everyone is with the ship, I bang my fist against the ramp, demanding for Eltoo to open the door. After a few knocks, the door hisses, and lowers itself. Eltoo greets us with some beeps. I would respond, but I kinda want to live and breathe. We all enter the ship, and the ramp closes with a release of air.
I take the bead out of my mouth, "if you stayed with the ship we wouldn't of had to jump into never ending space, possibly to our death."
"Sorry, master," Von's face softens. "I was just trying to help."
Placing my hand on his shoulder, I smile. "I appreciate the help, and am truly grateful for it." The Padawan looks up, his braid swinging from his moment, and smiles. "But you were given orders that you need to listen to. Don't worry, your obedience will come in time." The smile on Von's face disappears, but he nods and sits down in the cockpit.
"Pretty successful mission, sir," Wolffe bloats.
I narrow my eyes at my squad. "I would necessarily refer successful to luck, Wolfie." The troops take their helmets of, revealing their identical faces. Only their hair is what truly makes them different, appearance wise. Red has a pinstripe of short hair down the middle of his scalp. Wolffe is bald, Fox has a typical buzz cut, which most of the clones have. And Echo has a thicker buzz, with the front of his hair sticking up a bit, but now it is flat due to helmet head. "We were too close for comfort," I scold.
"Sorry, sir," Echo apologizes. "We had some screw-ups."
Red snorts, "like you blowing our cover in the landing bay."
"Or like you blowing out my gun," Echo retorts.
"No," Fox adds in. "I'm pretty sure the worst was when Wolffe tripped and slowed us down."
Then all four of the troopers go at it. All of them are talking at once, insulting each other. "Hey hey!" I shout. Due to all the noise, Von enters the room, along with Eltoo. The room goes silent. "We're a team, got it? If one soldier messes up, it's as much of his fault as it is the rest of you."
"Yes sir," they all reply.
I point my finger towards Von, "next time you don't follow orders, you will punished."
"Okay, mom," he mutters with an eye roll. Probably not meant for me to be heard. I shoot him a hard glare, and he takes his gaze towards his feet.
Then Eltoo chimes in, beeping and whistling. "No, you didn't save our butts, Eltoo. You just kept us alive," I scorn. Eltoo replies with some foul beeps. The squad laughs, and for some reason I begin to laugh too.
I walk into the cockpit, and take a seat in the pilots chair. "Let's go home," I say to myself. Home is where Anakin is. As I put Triple Threat into hyperspace, I set my feet up against the dashboard, and take in the stars flying past me.
