The next morning was pretty... Interesting. Anakin just stared at me while at breakfast, not even eating, but we never spoke a word to each other. Early this morning, we got a call saying we were to leave a little after noon, which was perfect. I hated leaving really early, or really late.

Now, Obi-Wan, Von and I wait at the shuttle to take us to the base. Anakin is out doing who knows what. "Where is he?" Obi-Wan scowls.

I shrug, "probably got lost. On purpose."

"Probably," Kenobi replies. Mine and Obi-Wan's relationship was growing stronger with each mission. The first time I met him, two years ago back at Padmé's apartment, wasn't too pleasant. I was very intimidated by him, you know, him being a Knight and all. But now, even him as a Master, I feel as comfortable around him as anybody. Of course there are millions of things I would never tell him, because of his spot on the Council. For example, my marriage with Anakin. It would have to be a very desperate situation for me to reveal that to Obi-Wan. Luckily, I'm never in those situations. At least I haven't been yet.

I hear footsteps. Anakin. Turning my body towards the sound, I see someone much other than Anakin. Gabriel. "(Y/N)," he smiles. "I came to wish you good luck. This will be a very difficult mission, but I know you will do excellent."

"Thank you," my cheeks begin to turn a shade of pink.

Gabriel cranes his neck to the left. "Von?"

"Gabriel!" Von shouts, a gigantic smile forming. What is happening?

"You two know each other?" I furrow my eyebrows, confused.

Von nods, "yea, he used to help Master Yoda out sometimes." The Padawan turns back towards Gabriel, "you should come on the mission with us!"

"Oh Von–" I start.

Obi-Wan interrupts, "actually, Toutney here would be to our assistance."

"No, no," Gabriel insists. "This is your mission, I would not want to be interfering."

"I'm part of the council, I have a say in this," Obi-Wan states matter-of-factly. "Come with us."

"Obi-Wan..." My voice fades.

Gabriel smirks, "let's do this, Master Kenobi." Why? Why was this happening? Oh gosh.

"Excellent," Kenobi smiles back. "I'll be prepping the shuttle to take us to base. Toutney, you can be with (Y/L/N)'s squad." The Jedi Master begins to walk towards one of the speeders.

"So," Gabriel looks at me. "What is our objective, general?"

"Your objective is to stay on the destroyer with Von. Anakin, Obi-Wan and I will be going to rescue the Chancellor." I gulp. "You will be our ride out of there."

Just then, I hear a clear of a throat.

"Anakin Skywalker," Gabriel shakes his head, slowly approaching towards me. "My, my. You sure are much less of what I expected."

I turn to Anakin, whose cheeks are red hot. "Who's this?"

"Gabriel," I gulp, "Toutney." Beeps come from Artoo.

Anakin wears a scowl, "oh I've heard about him."

"It'll be a pleasure working with you, General," Gabriel sarcastically salutes to Anakin, then walks to the speeder.

Anakin opens his mouth, but I raise my hand to stop him, "we will talk about it later." Von and I walk to the speeder, Anakin angrily following with Artoo at his heels.

Then, a droid ship comes into view of the sky. Obi-Wan runs out of the speeder, "we need to go now! It looks like they've brought the fight to us!"

"Where's Grevious's ship?" Anakin yells into the intercom.

I flinch at the volume, "the one crawling with vulture droids."

"Oh," Obi-Wan sighs. "This should be fun."

"Indeed, Master," I agree with a tight grin. "Here they come now!" We weave in and out of the oncoming vultures, shooting them down. The sound of their cries fill space. For a brief, brief moment, I look down onto Coruscant. It looks so peaceful. Beautiful. How could something as terrible as war come to such a place like this. A place may look so beautiful on the outside, but not on the inside. Those words refresh over and over again. What did it mean? A place may look so pretty, but it is ugly on the inside. Ugly meaning... Evil. The senate? The Order? The people? What was ugly on the inside? What was–

"(Y/N)!" Anakin interrupts my thoughts.

"Yes," I recollect myself, "yes."

He looks at me from his star fighter, "you need to go inside the ship now."

"I'm not leaving you here... Or Obi-Wan!" I retort.

Anakin has a look of regret on his face, "I have no choice. These are order!" Then, he shoots my wings, and goes ablaze.

"Anakin!" I scream in terror. My ship speeds towards the entrance to Grevious's ship. The problem is, the shields are still up. As I look back, I spot Anakin shooting towards me again. Was he trying to kill me? No, no, surely not. It was true, technically he was higher ranked than me, meaning I should take his orders, but I have my own legion here, making me another general. There are no orders I have to take from him. There is certainly none I would take from him.

His blaster fire flies past me and onto the shield generator. The shield disables as the shot hits, but then blast doors began to shut fast. "I have a bad feeling about this," I mutter.

I look back at Anakin and Obi-Wan before I am completely in the hangar. Anakin's voice goes over the intercom, "missiles! Pull up!" Then static. My heart drops. No, I am just out of range, or the ship is jamming the transmission.

I land harshly onto the hangar floor. My ship skids across the floor, and droids come to surround my ship. I fly out of my ship, landing and destroying three droids. I look back to my droid, Gecee, who is currently fried.

"Blast," I mutter as I slice through all the droids approaching me. As I destroy the last one, I look around me. My senses heighten, and I sense something awful. Dooku.

I began to walk towards a hallway, when a voice shouts, "leaving so soon, are you?"

I spin around, and cringe at the sight of the Count. "Dooku. I knew I smelled your foul stench on-board."

He force leaps so that he is only feet away from me. "Oh, General (Y/L/N)... You are so foolish." His hand reaches towards me. My hand flies to my hilt, but it's too late. Dooku already has my lightsaber.

I run to punch him, blood boiling. Power that I've never felt before rushes through my veins. With this ability, I jump higher than I ever have, and come down with a mighty fist. Shocked, the Count moves out of the way of my attack. "Yes, yes!" He chuckles menacingly. "Destroy me with your anger! Hate!"

As he ignites his and my lightsaber, and places the blue and red together, making a purple luminescence, I yell at him. "You already have the upper hand, lightsaber or no lightsaber." His hands drop, and he tilts his head. "Drop your weapon, and fight me fairly. Or so you shall go down as the most cowardly Sith in history."

"Go down?" The Count questions. "You think you will defeat me?"

"Oh, Count," I say through grit teeth. "You are so foolish!" My fist launches towards him, but he counters with a palm, dropping my saber. He holds my fist in his grasp, and pushes, sending me backwards. I fly into a wall and slide to the ground roughly. Shakily, I struggle to get up. Finally, I am on my feet, and Dooku comes forth. His hand approaches my face, but I dodge it, letting his hand slam into the wall. With his lightsaber still in his hand, he comes down for a strike, but I jump out of the way.

"You are very quick," Dooku observes. "Like a Jedi."

He comes down for another strike but I slide under his blade, "because I am one."

The Count shakes his head knowingly, "that is not your destiny though, is it?" I glare at him, and a chuckle escapes his mouth. "I have foreseen your future, (Y/L/N)! You think no ones knows about your little secret, but I do!" He strikes again but I dodge it. "A married Jedi? Interesting." My heart drops a little. How did he know this? "But what is to come of you, should I say... General Skywalker?" I become even more angry. "The path to the dark side is the one you have chosen! But do not worry about Anakin, because he is far ahead of you on that path!"

My anger gets the better of me, and I yell as I go in for a strike. But instead of hitting him, I miss and go stumbling forwards. As I turn around, I see a red light coming towards me. Dooku's saber makes contact with my face, and it slices just part of my eye. As I fall to the ground, my hands reaching for my face, it all suddenly goes black.

Dark.

Like my future.
