"I don't-I don't know.." I felt the anger leave my body and the person I knew return. I shouldn't have done that. I should've listened to Anakin. Anakin looked at me as if to say "we'll talk about this later."
The ship shook, "We need to leave!" The Chancellor complained and tugged us to the door. Anakin and I departed to get Obi-Wan.
"Leave him! Or we'll never make it!" The Chancellor said.
"I think we've seem enough death today." Anakin said, "His fate will be the same as ours."
I lifted the platform and Anakin took Obi-Wan from under it. He put Obi-Wan over his shoulder and we went to the elevators.
Another crash shook the ship and the floor became the wall as it fell completely on its side. I held onto the elevator door and the Chancellor held onto my boot.
"Chancellor, you're going to need to climb up me and into the elevator shaft." I got out between breaths.
"I got him." Anakin came to my rescue. He had already pulled him and Obi-Wan into the elevator shaft and began to use the force to move the Chancellor in as well. Once he did, he pulled me up.
"Our best bet is to go to the main hangar, see if there are any ships worth flying out of here before Ahsoka blows this whole thing up." He said, his eyes avoiding me.
We all began running, then of course, the ship began to level again. The walls returned to being walls and Anakin and I gripped at the sides of the walls. We both found some wire to hang onto. The Chancellor almost continued plummeting but I snatched him using the force I brought him to my foot. I used as much strength as I could to hold us.
Anakin and Obi-Wan were above me, and it was then that Obi-Wan decided to rejoin the party.

"Easy, we're in a bit of a situation." Anakin told Obi-Wan as he panicked at the realization of the situation. Obi-Wan gripped Anakin's back.
"Did I miss something?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Oh, not much." The Chancellor said. I heard the screech of metal above us, crooking my neck to look above Anakin, I saw the elevator coming down at us.
"Anakin!" I yelled to warn him,
"Oops," he pulled out the commlink to R2, "R2 shut down elevator 34472-"
"Too late, jump!" Obi-Wan yelled, and so we did. We began sliding down the walls, racing the elevator as it gained speed.
"There's the level for the hangar! Jump through there!" Obi-Wan yelled, opening the next elevators doors.
Anakin grabbed me to push me in and let me land on him instead of the floor.
"Are you alright?" He asked, still avoiding my eye as he checked my body for any harm.
"I'm just fine." Chancellor said, Obi-Wan helped him stand.
"Im fine." I told Anakin. I rolled off of him and the four of us found ourselves running down the hall to the main hangar.
We said nothing to each other. Anakin got out the commlink to R2.
"R2, get down here, we need to-" then we were stopped. We couldn't keep going.
"Ray shields?" I stopped, frustrated.
"Wait a minute, how did this happen? We're smarter than this!" Obi-Wan complained.
"Apparently not." I rolled my eyes, I just wanted to get out of here.
"I say patience." Anakin said, calm.
"Patience?" I rose my eyebrow to him, since when has he been patient? I would get mad at him if the Chancellor weren't here, and if he didn't look so good in this lighting.
"Yes, R2 will be along in a moment and then he can release the ray shields." Anakin said, just then R2 entered the hall, shrieking as he did so. "See? No problem."

Just then destroyers rolled in after him. And behind us marched in a fleet of Super Battle Droids. The four of us all sighed in defeat.
"Do you have a plan B?" Obi-Wan asked, Anakin just shook his head.
The droids put us in handcuffs and walked us to the ships bridge. It was there I started to hear that awful coughing sound of the deteriorating Grievous.
"Ah yes, 'The Negotiator', General Kenobi." The droid turned around to look at us, "We've been waiting for you, that wasn't much of a rescue." Another droid handed him our lightsabers.
"And, General (Y/L/N), when are you going to learn to stop coming on my ship?" He sighed.
"Usually after it's blown to bits." I shrugged, he only growled in response to me.
"They should start calling you the Padawanless Master." He chuckled to himself and I spit right in his face. Petty, I know but his words were disgusting. He groaned and moved on after my action.
"Anakin Skywalker, I was expecting someone with your reputation to be a little.. Older." Grievous got into Anakin's face, forcing him to turn away because of how his breath smelt.
"General Grievous, you're shorter than I expected." Anakin said, maintaining eye contact with him. Grievous huffed.
"Jedi scum." Grievous coughed.
"We have a job to do, try not to upset him." Obi-Wan rolled his eyes.
"Your lightsabers will make a fine addition to my collection." Grievous put our sabers in his cloak pockets where he had 1 more already stored.
"Not this time, because this time you won't escape." Obi-Wan responded.
"How do you plan on that?" Grievous laughed. The three of us smiled.
"R2!" Anakin yelled, and as a distraction R2 erupted into all of his insane gadgets the Republic gave him.
Obi-Wan and I turned our backs to force our lightsabers into our hands. After cutting myself free I also cut Anakin free. He returned his own to his hands and we stood in attack position.
"Make them suffer!" Grievous turned away, allowing his guards to take us.
That in itself was an easy battle except for the droid that even after beheading kept going. I sliced down the droid then the two battle droids taking the Chancellor away. I freed the Chancellors cuffs as well then went to join Anakin and Obi-Wan against Grievous.
"No, General Kenobi, it is you that won't be getting away." Grievous then stuck his weapon into the glass separating the vacuum of space and the stabilized bridge.
I flipped over but held on tightly to Anakin's leg as he held onto a railing. I felt the air leaving my lungs as space tried to suck it all out. Soon the emergency doors shut the seal like a band aid and our air was restored. I breathed in deeply. Trying to stabilize myself.
Anakin and Obi-Wan finished off the last of the droids.
"Alright, let's get out of here." Anakin said. Just then, an alarm then went off at the machine next to me.
"All the escape pods have been launched!" I announced after reading the screen.
"Grievous." Obi-Wan cursed to himself, "Do you know how to fly a cruiser like this?" Obi-Wan asked Anakin.
"You mean do I know how to land what's left of this thing." Anakin responded, sitting down at the manual controls.
"Well?" I butt in.
"Well considering the circumstances I'd say the ability to pilot this thing is irrelevant." Anakin said, switching on the manual controls. I beat Obi-Wan and sat down at the copilot seat.
Here goes nothing.

People. Harmony. Dysfunction
[Hiatus]People are extraordinary. They are glorious, chaotic, imaginative, grim, all kinds of smart and driven. They are capable of living in harmony or incredible destruction. They can be both caring and loyal but vicious and self-centred. However, Olivia wished that the first year of her PhD didn't have to showcase quite so much of the melting pot. People. Harmony. Dysfunction. is a story that follows a research group through the drama and challenges life throws at them. It has an (unspecified) modern setting and focuses on the characters. I've tried to rate this pre-emptively, but unfortunately it might change as the story evolves.
