《Star Wars: Imagines, X-Readers, One shots, Etc. REQUESTS CLOSED》«♥ Carrie Fisher ♥»

On December 27th of 2016, we lost a true Princess, and a hero. Some of us knew her as just Princess Leia, or just Carrie Fisher, or as both Carrie and Leia. When I heard she had a heart attack which was just a few days before my birthday, but they said she was recovering, I was happy, and still kept her in my prayers.
Then two days after Christmas, my mother told me that Carrie Fisher just passed away, and it was all over Facebook and on every social media page. I was heart broken, and upset, even though I never met Carrie, it still made me upset. We all lost a Princess that day.
Carrie taught us many things, that not all Princesses need saving, or always has to be the "damsel in distress".
As Princess Leia, Carrie taught us that All Princesses can be total badasses. (Sorry for the language, but that explains Carrie. A total badass.)
As Leia, she showed us that we could save the day, and it was possible. I mean after all, she led the Rebel Alliance and saved the whole Galaxy.
Carrie did have a lot of issues and struggles in life, but she showed us that we could make it through it, and have a laugh about our issues.
When I was younger, and I started watching Star Wars when I was 3 years old. (My dad loved the movies, and that's when my love for the movies began.)
Anyways, when I first saw Leia, I was like she is beautiful, and she is a princess! But she's not like the other Princesses, and I thought that was amazing. She stood out, she didn't need a prince to save her, she didn't have or need knights in shining armor to save a kingdom (or in her case a galaxy). And she didn't run from the villains, she looked at them straight in the eye, and told them off, and that's probably when I started getting sassy and sarcastic.

And when I watched Carrie on the screen, I wanted to be like her, I wanted to be like Princess Leia, strong and independent. Even today, I still want to be that beautiful, strong, independent, and smart, Princess, that Carrie/ Leia was.
When I was younger, I remember people would always ask me, "Who is your favorite Princess?" (They were referring to Disney Princesses) and I would always respond: Princess Leia. They never understood why, and now that I think about it now, I think I just wanted to lead the Rebel Alliance, and have Chewie and Han. 😂
Carrie taught us that even when your afraid to do something, do it. Just go for it and do it. She taught us to be confident in ourselves.
Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What's important is the action. You don't have to wait to be confident. Just do it, and eventually the confidence will follow. ~Carrie Fisher
Carrie Fisher also taught us to stop body shaming ourselves. We are beautiful in our own ways.
" Screw beauty, it's superficial anyway, and my other attributes matter way more than my appearance." ~Carrie Fisher
She also taught us (and adults as well)
That our beauty and youth are not going to last forever, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. That's life.
Everything is temporary.
" Youth and beauty are not accomplishments. They're the temporary, happy byproducts of time and DNA." ~Carrie Fisher
She inspired me, and so many people in so many different ways. I've learned from her that it's okay to make mistakes, and to take chances in life even if they scare the living crap out of you. I've learned that I'm beautiful and unique in my own way, and I don't need people's approval if I'm pretty or not. And I definitely don't need their approval on the decisions I make. They're opinions And they never will matter.
Carrie was and will always be an inspiration to me.
R.I.P. Carrie.
