Title: Almost Losing You
X-Reader
Warning- None
I was leading the people of Naboo, through the ship hangar, when a door began to slowly open. It revealed a man, maybe? A body of a man, but really didn't look like one. Once he pulled down his hood, he had little horns at the top of his head, and he was of the species of Zabrak.
Qui-Gon walked in front of Obi-Wan and I, "We'll handle this." he told Amidala's men.
She nodded, "We'll take the long way."
I was standing near Anakin, "Stay here. Don't leave this cock pit, okay?" I said as I threw my robe down on the ground, with a hand on my lightsaber.
Darth Maul ignited his lightsaber looking at us the way a lion would look at his prey. We ignited our lightsabers, "Y/N, stay behind Obi-Wan. Don't jump in unless you have to, alright?" Qui-Gon told me, and I nodded.
Darth Maul made the first move, then Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon jumped at him, clashing their lightsabers together.
Suddenly, Darth Maul kicked Qui-Gon's feet from underneath him, and force pushed Obi-Wan into the wall.
"Obi-Wan!" I shouted then he came at me with his lightsaber.
We started to fight I blocked every single one of hits, and he force pushed me, and I landed on Qui-Gon.
Obi-Wan went after Darth Maul, and they started to fight, and their lightsabers clashing together every few seconds.
Qui-Gon and I both got back up, and he took the lead. We then ended up in a big room that had a bridge, and Darth Maul looked at us, Qui-Gon making the first move.
Darth Maul used the same force push trick again, and came after me. We were fighting, the lightsaber colors mixing, and we were both pushing making the lightsabers hiss.
He kicked my legs out from underneath me, and force pushed me so hard that I hit one of the large pillars in the room.

"Y/N!!" I heard Obi-Wan shout, and that was the last thing I heard before passing out.
I felt something wet on my face, and then a sharp pain in my cheek. I sat up quickly, only to hit heads with a little kid. "Oh, good! You're awake! You better hurry! The good men are fighting the bad one!" She shouted, and I looked at her, and stood up.
"Where did they go?" I ask and she pointed towards a corridor.
I began to run, but she shouted, "You'll need this!" I turned around and she had my lightsaber.
I force pulled it over to me, and she looked at her hand then back at me, "You have to teach me that!" She squealed.
I ran towards the direction I heard the lightsabers striking each other. I ran behind Obi-Wan, and we were blocked by these shields that came out of the walls.
Darth Maul, and Qui-Gon both turned off their lightsabers, and Qui-Gon kneeled down on the floor.
"What do we do?" I ask Obi-Wan, obviously antsy to get over to Qui-Gon.
He looked over at me, "Be patient." He said, and I looked at his face. I had these feelings for Obi-Wan, I couldn't quite explain it. I think I love him, but I couldn't tell him now. Especially not now. I cleared my thoughts, focusing on the problem, that was between us, and these barriers.
The doors opened, and I began to run. Some how, I ended up in front of Obi-Wan making it to where Qui-Gon was, then the barriers closed behind me. Leaving me, and Qui-Gon alone with this creature, this sith.
I helped Qui-Gon, and our lightsabers were hitting Darth Maul's. Left. Right. Left. Left. Right. Our lightsabers hitting each others in every other direction, yet again Darth Maul pushed me back up against a wall, he wanted to fight Qui-Gon. Not me.
I couldn't move, and Qui-Gon was fighting as hard as he could. Then Darth Maul kicked Qui-Gon's knee causing him to lose balance, but once he caught his balance, Darth Maul's lightsaber struck him in the chest.

Both Obi-Wan and I screamed, "No!!" As he fell to the floor, some how the grip that was on me was loose and I ran at Darth Maul, our lightsabers clashing together making a thunderous noise. I heard a voice in my head, "Use your anger. He just killed someone who was important to you! Do it! Strike him down!"
I hit his lightsaber with mine, but the voice screamed in my head, "DO IT!"
I lost focus, and I felt a sharp pain in my side, Darth Maul's lightsaber struck me in the side. It wasn't too deep, but it was deep enough to cause blood to start pouring out.
I fell to the ground, and watched Obi-Wan's face, "Y/N!!!!" He screamed, and once the barriers opened, he ran out and started fighting Darth Maul.
Obi-Wan was fighting, and their lightsabers hitting one another's with such force. Obi-Wan cut Darth Maul's lightsaber in half, and jumped over him, and I was left to watch. The voice spoke again, "Watch the love of your life die."
Darth Maul force pushed Obi-Wan making him fall off the side of the cliff, "No!" I shouted, and I caught Darth Maul's attention. I started to drag myself over to try and grab my lightsaber that was near the ledge, and Darth Maul stood over me.
He looked me in the eye, and cut my leg, I screamed out in pain. He stood over me lifting his lightsaber above his head getting ready to swing, but Obi-Wan jumped up, and sliced him in half. Darth Maul fell over the edge and into the abyss, Obi-Wan ran over to me,
"No, I'm fine go over to Qui-Gon." I said, and he nodded and ran over to him.
I didn't hear what words were said other than, "Obi-Wan." "Chosen one" and "Train him."
I was falling in and out of consciousness, and Obi-Wan came back next to me, and he lifted up my head. "Don't you leave me too, Y/N." And those were the last words I heard.
I woke up with a bright light blinding me, and a medical droid told someone, "She's awake. You may talk to her."
I looked up and it was Obi-Wan, I tried to stand up, but the pain in my leg, and the side of my stomach, was excruciating.
"I thought I lost you, Y/N." Obi-Wan said, his face buried in my hair.
"A sith can't get rid of me that easily." I say, and he chuckles.
He sat there staring at me for a moment, and I looked at him. "Ben, is there something wrong?" I asked, and he continued to stare at me,
"When I thought I lost you, I had this feeling of regret for not telling you something. I thought I would never get the chance to tell you, and it was killing me." He said, and picked up my hand.
"W-what did you need to tell me?" I ask, and squeeze his hand gently.
"That.. that I love you. Not in a sister way that I always told you. I love you, I want us to be more than friends." He said looking down at floor.
I look up at him, "I love you, too. And I would love for us to be more than friends but- we just can't. It's against the Jedi Code." I say, and he looks up.
"I don't care. I almost lost you, and I want us to be together. We can keep it secret." He said, and I smiled, "Okay." Then he pulled my chin up, and pressed his lips gently to mine.
"I love you, Y/N Y/L/N." He said smiling.
"I love you too, Ben Kenobi."

Maker of Fire
On a world where magic kept civilization firmly in the bronze age, the Gods dropped an accountant and a mining engineer to start a political and industrial revolution. They wanted enlightened governance and a fast track to the iron age. They got indoor plumbing, paper airplanes, a cranky queen, and one very grumpy prophet. Dramatis Personae Aylem was a bookkeeping student when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as the greatest mage ever known, born into the ruling class of gigantic, magic-wielding humans. The Gods expect her to conquer the world and introduce double-entry accounting. Though Queen and numerical reformer, world conquest is stalled because everyone is scared of her and she doesn't like war. Emily was a retired engineer when she died. The Gods reincarnated her as one of the enslaved class of small, magicless humans. The Gods expect her to drag the world out of the bronze age. Though she's already recreated matches and wrought iron, introducing technology isn't going well because she was born a slave (oops) and having escaped, wants nothing to do with so-called "civilization." Asgotl was a whale when he died. The Gods reincarnated him as a griffin and expect him to have the same role he played in his previous life: to keep a reluctant prophet from walking off the job. If only they had remembered to tell him about it. Revised update schedule will be once a week on Saturdays, noonish Mountain Time (in North America)

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
