《Mommy's House》22

BELLA KNEW She would be watching, because She always was.
Cole pulled away from Bella almost immediately, with a wide gaze altered by confusion. His thick eyebrows were furrowed and his bloodshot eyes were trained on her - it looked as if he was about to yell at her but the shock of her kissing him left him shaky.
"W-why the fuck did you just do that?" Cole asked, his voice low.
Bella didn't have time to explain; the second she heard a loud gasp and the creak of the door from behind her, she reached up to slam her open palm across his face with all the strength she could muster. Cole let out a small groan as his eyes squeezed shut.
"Get away from me! How could you? We are brother and sister! That is disgusting!" Bella cried out to Cole, attempting to stand to her feet. When she stood, she wobbled and almost lost her balance, but she felt Mommy's grasp on her waist to hold her up as well as her hot breath beating on her neck.
Cole's eyes were clouded with extreme confusion as he tried to figure out what was happening. Elliot was awake beside him as well, moving closer against Cole in fear as Mommy and Bella towered over them.
"What did he do to you? What did he do?" Mommy asked, her tiny eyes set on Cole.
"He kissed me! He... he forced himself on me!" Bella cried out, her fingers latching onto Mommy's bony arm. "What can we do to punish him?"
Bella watched as Cole closed his eyes and leaned his back against the wall, wincing again as his fresh wounds pressed against it. Elliot nuzzled into Cole's bare chest, seeking comfort that Cole was in too much pain to provide.
"There are so many things!" Mommy exclaimed, her small eyes staring into Bella's as they filled with a sick pleasure. "But first..." Mommy trailed off, kneeling down and pulling the familiar bandana out of the back pocket of her baggy jeans.
Cole opened his mouth without objection and Mommy stuffed the fabric in his mouth before wrapping it around his head, using it as a gag again.
"That's better," Bella whispered, her chest cramping as her heart ached.
"You boys are always preying on girls," Mommy said to Cole, her voice harsh and monotonous. "Always looking for an innocent girl you could fuck and drop, is that right? Just like your father. You are just like him."

Cole made a noise around the gag and rolled his pale eyes, looking in the other direction as Bella clenched tighter onto Mommy's arm.
"I have an idea! But... but it involves Sir. Do you mind if you send him downstairs so we can discuss it?" Bella asked, her head tilted to the side as she stared up at Mommy with large eyes. "Please? He would really make my brother learn his lesson, and then we will call you down when we are ready. I want it to be a surprise."
Mommy stared into Bella's eyes, her large pupils sending a tickle of chills up Bella's spine.
"Of course. He will be down in just a second," Mommy said, her tongue sliding across the top of her rotting teeth. "Make sure you think of a good punishment, one that he will remember."
Bella nodded, smiling at Mommy as Mommy walked out of the room, leaving the door open slightly.
"What happened?" Elliot asked Cole, staring up at him.
Cole lifted his shoulders in a shrug and mumbled something along the lines of "I don't know", his words muffled by the bandana. It was obvious he was exhausted and each of his glitched movements were melancholy, every turn of his head and shifting of his battered body.
Bella reached over and pulled his bandana down from his mouth.
"You want me to die, don't you?" Cole asked, seemingly out of breath as his bloodshot eyes focused on her.
Bella was appalled by his question. "Of course not... that's- that's the last thing I want."
Her hand reached out to touch the clammy skin of his cheek. He flinched at her touch, but allowed her to continue caressing his skin gently.
Bella reached into her dress and pulled the cold burger out, her fingers shaking as she unwrapped it. She held it out to Cole, but he shook his head.
"Open your mouth, Cole. You need to eat at least some of it," Bella whispered hastily, watching the doorway.
Cole allowed Bella to feed him some of it. He then nodded towards Elliot tiredly, as if to tell her to give him the rest.
Bella held the other half out to Elliot. Elliot ripped it reluctantly from Bella's grip, his eyebrows still furrowed in anger towards her as he ate it quickly.
Bella reached over to Cole and pulled the bandana back over his mouth.
"Don't be mad at me," Bella begged quietly, glancing quickly at the doorway. "This is for our own good."

She heard heavy footsteps come down the stairs outside the door. The second she saw Sir's hooded figure, she ran up to him.
"Please help me," she begged him, and his large hands grasped her forearms to calm her down.
"What is wrong, pretty girl? I was told that your older brother forced himself onto you. I will hurt him bad, do not worry," his deep voice sounded, and he shifted to the side of Bella, starting towards Cole.
Bella moved in front of him again, shaking her head. "You need to help me, please," Bella pleaded, her voice breaking. "Do you want to help me?"
"Did he hurt you?" Sir asked, ignoring Bella's pleads. "You are too nice to be hurt."
"N-no, he didn't. But I need your help," Bella said, taking hold his bear-like hand and grasping it in hers as she pulled him up against the wall, leaving Cole and Elliot out of earshot.
Sir's hood was blocking his facial features, but she could tell he was upset by the way he ducked his head down. "Your mommy hurt you before," he remembered suddenly, his mind seeming to be everywhere.
Bella nodded, trying not to get frustrated with how scattered he is. "You told me that I was too nice to be hurt, but Mommy is the only one hurting me. You can get her to stop if you let me outside," Bella said, her voice so quiet it was barely audible as she gripped Sir's hand harder. "Do you want her to stop?"
Sir nodded. "I want her to stop."
Bella's tongue flicked across her lips. "I want her to stop hurting you, too. I can tell that she does," Bella's voice was soft and soothing, her thumb rubbing against his.
Sir nodded, before he ripped his hand away from Bella's and brought both of them to his face in sadness. "I am sad. She is not nice. I told her not to sell you, but she will. She told me she found a man already to purchase you. I am very upset."
Bella's heart stopped.
She swallowed and blinked, "S-sell me?"
"Yes. Oh, I am so sorry. She wants money for you. I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry," Sir pleaded over and over, his voice getting louder with each apology.
"If you let me leave I will not be sold," Bella whispered hastily, involuntary tears pinching at her eyes again. She promised herself to stay strong but she knew that the situation would only get worse for her if she didn't get out of there fast. "I promise you I will not be sold. Do you know what, Sir?"
Sir tilted his head.
"We can live together if you let me out. I will take good care of you, and you will never have to deal with her again. Is she trapping you here?" Bella asked, tilting her head and staring at him with glittering eyes.
Sir didn't answer, he just looked away from Bella.
"Is she? It's okay," Bella spoke gently. "I won't tell anybody."
Sir nodded, his tense shoulders deflating. "She says I am too ugly for anyone else. So she will use me for her own good. She tells me to wear a hood. If I do not, she yells at me. I do not like to be yelled at."
Bella's lips flattened into a straight line as she reached up to grip the trim of his hood. Very slowly and cautiously, she pulled it down over his head to reveal his face.
The first feature she noticed was the fact that his left eye was completely white. There was no pupil, no iris - nothing but an ivory eye. The other eye was a dark iris, quite normal looking, though there was a red slash on the side of it, embedded in the sclera.
His nose was very thin and crooked, as if it had been knocked to the other side, and he had light facial hair that was very wiry and unkempt.
Bella gave him a timid smile. "I think you're very handsome."
The eye that wasn't white lit up, and his head lifted as he looked at her. "You do?"
She nodded, "If you let me outside, I will tell the police about her. I will take care of you if you just let me go."
Sir looked down before he looked up again at Bella. "I am not supposed to."
Bella closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I will never be sad again. You deserve so much better."
He paused in thought, just before Bella wrapped her arms around him. His sweatshirt reeked of cigarette smoke and alcohol, but Bella's face remained nestled into him, hoping that this gesture will make him give in.
She smiled when his arms wrapped around her.
"Okay," she heard him say.
