❥title: clean
❥story: fluff
❥warnings: none
Kenma wore a small smile on his face as he stares at the screen of his phone, seeing you call him was one of his favorite sightings.
He recently lost at some kind of boss level on a game he was always so focused on, so needless to say he was kinda sulking until he heared a call from you.
The pudding head setter finally decided to accept the call, not wanting to make you wait any further since he was also just as eager as you to have a conversation with each other.
He felt his heart pound and melt at the same time, his cheeks heating up as his gaze never left the screen that showed your face that wore a soft smile which he was too, admiring.
"Good evening." you greet, giving him a small wave which he replied back with a hum. His stare not leaving yours, not even for a millisecond.
Though he didn't fail to notice your background which was also, your room.
Even if Kenma had visited your house more than he could count, seen it whenever you two had the time to face time each other, he still couldn't help but be mesmerised on how clean and neat you kept the place.
At first he didn't believe your parents words that you were always the first one to wake up just to clean the house into your liking, he also found out that you were the one scolding your own parents for apparently "missing a spot" to clean.
But he was observant and noticed these facts were actually true, not too long ago you lectured Yamamoto about laying down on the floor while you still didn't mop it right.
Let's ignore the part where Lev almost shed tears because you were "scolding" and "lecturing" him too much about keeping himself neat at all times and Kuroo had to make you stop before Lev starts throwing a fit and a tantrum.
Your personality was oddly alike to his volleyball captain, Kuroo. So the team almost choked on their own saliva after finding out about your strange obsession on keeping things well kept.

But it's not like it was a huge surprise for Kenma, he always analysis people quite quickly so it wasn't very shocking news when he heared about it.
After all, he was the first one to know and notice. Even before the two of you started dating.
Not once in his visits has he ever seen a dusty desk like his. He could care less about cleaning if he had to be truthful, he was always too busy gaming and practicing so cleaning wasn't present in his to do list.
"Hi." he simply greeted back, a small smile still on playing on his lips, finally snapping out of his thoughts and fantasies about you.
"Oh that reminds me," you paused as he hums in confusion, seeing you stand up from where you were sitting at before you went out of view from the screen.
"Y/n?" He calls out quietly, wanting to ask on what you were doing.
Kenma let's out a small sigh as he watched you sit back down, a small smug smirk on your lips which he felt either concerning or something to be flustered about.
"Kozume." his ear perked up, looking at you with curiosity in his eyes which didn't go unnoticed by yours truly.
"I'm coming over," You continued, letting out a sigh as you stared at your boyfriend calmly. But still, the smirk on your lips does not tell soft and innocent.
Kenma furrowed his brows a bit before humming once again, "Sure..? Any reason?" He asked, trying to not somehow offend you but you just simply shaked your head.
"Nope, just wanted to play with my little kitty." ah yes.. That nickname that made Kenma's face burst into different kinds of color red. More specifically dark scarlet.
"I-.. The front door is open.. Just come whenever.." he stated, sighing in relief after he successfully stopped himself from stuttering out unnecessary words.
You hummed and shrugged, standing up from your chair as he watches you pick the phone up in your hand.
"'Kay, now sounds like a great time."
"Sounds fine, get here safe." you smiled at his words which made him melt even more than he already had.

But of course that stupid smug smirk came back as you waved, "Okay." you paused as you eyed him softly.
"But don't be too excited. I may not contain myself when I get there," and with that, the call ended with you winking.
Kenma blinks and thinks for a few moments before he burrowed his face onto the soft pillow, his face heating up as a shade of dark red crept up with it.
Sometimes he wonders if there will be a time where you would actually keep your words or you're just saying that because your sometimes unoriginal remarks and flirty comments always manage to fluster and flush the hell out of him.
.
It didn't take long before he heared your voice say you were finally in his house. His parents were gone for a few days for personal reasons so greeting his pals weren't necessary.
Kenma waited rather impatiently for you to come in. Sitting down on his bed with a pillow on his chest, hugging it while waiting.
Finally, the door slammed open only to reveal you with a mask, gloves and usual cleaning supplies in a bucket.
Kenma's gaze eyed you curiously, wondering on why you somehow reminded him of a guy named Levi Ackerman.
But he was mostly questioning on why you burst in looking like that.
But of course you noticed the curiosity in his eyes as you stare at him, your eyes practically smiling at him.
"Hey kitty, sorry if I made you too excited." you teased as you watch him yet again, flush inront of you.
You crossed your arms, glancing around his room, before making an obvious cringy expression.
Though you should have expected this in the first place, he was a gamer so it wasn't surprising that his room wasn't always naturally clean.
"Seriously kitty," You paused as you point at the opened chip bag down on the floor, which he glanced at as well as you did.
"What are you trying to feed? The floor?" there we go, your sudden mood swing.
Of course he was familiar with the sudden personality switch when you forced him to help you clean "Kuroo's filthy room." quoted by you.
When you were in school, you would flirt and tease the poor setter along with the captain but once you step foot into his room, BAAM! New person.
To simplify it more, you turned to a stoic and demanding person. Almost yelling at the bedhead for "You call your cleaning hard work? That's as easy as slapping you on the face, want me to demonstrate? No? Then do better!"
Just the thought of Kuroo's terrified expression already made him shiver from his spot uncomfortably.
"Kozume, grab a broom." he snaps out of his thoughts as he waves his hands around. "Babe.. This isn't really necessary," he paused as he shurgs.
"I'll clean it tomorrow or somet—"
"Do I need to repeat?"
"Oh look a broom appeared! Let's get cleaning." he stated as he got up from his bed, giving up and finally deciding to help you, knowing he wouldn't manage to force you to stop anyways.
But even so, he watched as you glare at the "filthy" things from time to time. Taking the cleaning job too seriously.
But nonetheless, he felt his lips tug upwards watching you. Rubbing his desk like your life somehow depended on it.
Feeling a stare to your direction, you snapped your head towards him with a glare which he quickly looked away. Continuing on what he had started.
Kenma snickered quietly, "Y/n.."
"Yeah?"
"I love you." you stopped to glance at him, your glare softening as you smile at the flushed red male. "Love you too kitty."
.
.
.
"But you call that sweeping?! My grandmother can do better with her eyes closed!"
I have no words tbh
But! The day better be treating you well today! If not.. Then I'm sorry :<
3..3K?! WTF?! DARLING YOU SURE WORK FAST!
Thank you so much!

Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
