《haikyuu x reader》❥Shiratorizawa Special

"Ah shit.." you muttered groggily, your voice already sounding strained and exhausted from just a quiet mumble parting your lips afterwards, your breathing turning to a warm temperature from the sigh you recently released, a hand holding your forehead - preventing your head from falling back down towards the pillow right beneath you, the thermometer laid down on the table just beside your wooden bed frame, both disappointment and somewhat relief washing over your body.
"I'm sick.." you added on to your small husky whisper from its earlier appearance, your tired eyes solely focused on the slight small item that was placed on the surface right next to you. 38° was visibly written on the small 'screen' of some sort, atleast it didn't reach to a higher number more than that. It would've been a much bigger problem if your sweat suddenly turns glacial cold, having a fever from just the start of the weekdays was one of the worst. [or the best]
"Mom's gonna kill me if I don't go to school," with a soft groan let out, you swayed your feet over towards the edge of your bed, your feet hitting the almost freezing floorboards without the needs of the fluffed carpet that was decorated in the middle of your room, the warmth of the soft surface giving your mind at slight small peace of ease. Extending a hand over towards your doorknob, your fingers nearly touching the door before it was forcibly pushed open by your own mother, who seemed irritated in a somewhat way.
"I heard you talking shit about me."
"It was facts mom." she simply laughed, both her and your sarcastic retorts and remarks always never failed to put a little ecstacy and small euphoria going around in the house, both of your personalities always seemed to brighten people up, not that it mattered mentioning in the first place, but it was indeed something wholsome to add the small sugar in.
With a geniune small smile appearing on her youthful features, her eyes practically grinned from how her orbs shined, she then slightly tilts the door close, enough for her mouth to be visible by the doorway; "I know your sick, just rest. Alright? I'll contact the school for you," without a word escaping the hems of your slightly parted lips, she slammed the door with a heavy loud thud heared afterwards - her footsteps getting fainter by each step she took. Alarming your figure that she wasn't letting you leave with a high fever and such temperature.
With a final sigh, you walked back towards your comfy mattress, face planting onto the soft surface - your eyes unsurprisingly already closing tightly shut from the needed warmth it gave your body, your hands clutching on to your colored blanket as you felt your eyelids getting heavier by each second that passed by. Curling up your state in a ball-like shape, a small breathe of air escaping your mouth as you slowly drifted yourself off to the arousing darkness.
The Shiratorizawa Volleyball Team would be fine without you, It was estimated in only a few days without you managing them anyways. They didn't even have a manager to begin with, it shouldn't be a problem to be concerned about in the first place. They have a strict coach and a blunt captain, the players following their seniors or higher rankers shouldn't be a worrying thought.
"Tendō, this isn't the time to be a total child!" Semi scolded with a tone of evident irritation, his voice booming yet only overlapping with the various series of voices echoing around the gymnasium. The middle blocker on the ground with his knees placed near his chest, a pout puckering his lips in a way of showing off his childish side of personality, his head tilted somewhere else - not sparing a glance towards the annoyed setter hovering above his seated figure. "No! I'm not practicing until Y/n isn't here!"

Semi gripped his own hair in a somesort of showing he was beggining to slowly release his stress towards the redhead; "For the last time Satori, we never had a manager except for Y/n! What difference does it make when she's not here?! We miss her sure, but why are you sulking instead of practicing like you're supposed to?!" Tendō decided to glance towards the exasperated male in a snap of his head with one swiftful movement, eyebrows ceased with a frown replacing his pout. Semi slightly filling up with small hope after making eye contact.
"Are you gonna practice now?" the setter questioned, his voice slowly turning soft with its tone whilst the blcckker hummed in a curious way. A finger on his chin ad be taps it from time to time, "I was about to..but..."
"I don't like that you're shouting at me SemiSemi."
"FOR GOD'S SAKE SATORI—" Ushijima could only stare at his teammates in evident confusion, a volleyball in his hands as his eyes flickered over towards the younger aspiring ace along with the copper haired male from a shirt distance whereas he stood, watching them yell and shout at each other for small mistakes that they somehow managed to mirror. Reon doing his best to calm the team down to their senses, Yamagata in the corner with Kawanishi - whispering whatever they had to share with each other in the first place. Their coach looking like as if he was done with the own volleyball team he coached for all these years.
"SATORI, WHAT ARE YOU CRYING FOR?!"
"Please calm dow—Yamagata stop that.."
"I'M NOT GETTING UP UNTIL SHE'S NOT HERE!"
"She's not dead you stupid bowl-cut brat!"
"Atleast my hair knows which way to go! Yours look like a happy wheels map!"
"L/n has a high fever, now could you all shut up?" silence interjected the roaring gymnasium, all eyes only going to one person and one person only - giving their full focus towards the exasperated and vexated senior, his lips parting once a sigh of relief realised through him, realising he finally caught the attentiveness of his own players, his hands placing behind his back as he slightly looked down. "Now that's cleared up. All of you do extra diving drills, about 100 serves before—....what?" Washijo questioned once his orders grew faint, his eyebrows furrowing more than usual in a way of showing his slight confusion towards his juniors, noticing the dumbfounded looks on their faces. Excluding Ushijima - who was either surprised or concerned.
"Y/n-Chan is sick?!" Tendō was the first to react with his booming shout, his seated figure suddenly having the energy standing up in order to show his evident bewilderment and exasperation towards the older coaches. His fingers twitching along with his mouth widely hanging open, as if the information he recently known about was something crucial. Semi flinching in his spot upon hearing the sudden yell just right next to him. But he paid no mind, his eyes still showed that he was slightly worried.
Goshiki visibly frowned, his energy dropping down to the slightest in one swiftful thinking; "Did she get sick because she smiled too much yesterday?" He asked quietly, which the setter beside him immediately thought as the dumbest question he had ever witnessed someone say. "Maybe because she laughed."
"Shirabu-Senpai, how can laughing make our manager sick?"
"And how is your iq lower than 5?"
"Everyone shush! Y/n is sick!" the redhead interjected, his fingers tangling his own colored hair in a form of showing his evident stressed out demeanour - Reon's small smile appearing yet he only looked down, a hand covering his mouth in clear embarassment. Knowing what the middle blocker's future words were going to be shouted in the gymnasium. "SHE'S GOING TO DIE THEN WE WON'T HAVE A MANAGER ANYMORE!" the aspiring ace sweat dropped in his spot, jaw dropped practically on the floorboards as the setter beside him rolled his eyes - taking notice that Goshiki had actually believed the middle blocker.

"wHAT!?" Semi clicked his tounge in irritation, his hand going up slight towards the air before giving his slap a forced and harsh usage of his own strength, his aim directed towards the back of the redhead's nape in supreme accuracy. A grunt escaping the setter's parted lips afterwards, shaking his slightly staggered hand after hearing the wince of pain from the blocker right beside him. A wave of disbelief rushing over his body, not having a clue on what Tendō was possibly thinking to make such accusations and surprising yet disappointing conclusions.
Ushijima simply blinked before looked over towards his senior coach - who irked an eyebrow upwards in visible curiosity, silently questioning the olive haired ace in quietude about the blank stare he was recieving from the wing spiker so suddenly. "Can we go to L/n?" though the way he asked his small favor, sounded more like a demand. Washijo opened his mouth to speak out his disapproval before he gave a quick side glance towards the troublesome volleyball players. A short distance away from him.
"I apologise Ushijima. But i—"
"Please..?" Washijo's words were interrupted in a surprising matter, the olive haired male just right beside where he stood pleaded for his suggestive question. His frown remained unperceptive in the other's eyes yet showed as visible towards the senior coach's orbs. Ushijima tilting his head as if he was a small child lost in a park due to his carelessness, Washijo could just easily give his blessings and agreement just by the look on the wing spike's face yet he forced himself not to. Seeing no beneficial occurance even if he did.
Shaking his head whilst making eye contact with the wooden floorboards beneath him, Washijo's lips parted once a heavy shaky sigh of a breath escaped him. "I'm sorry, not now. You guys can visit her after school." the volleyball team all exchanged sorrowful looks except for a certain redhead - who seemed to be gaining mischief once the smirk on his face grew wider by the second; which went noticeable towards the other players inside the gymnasium, their gazed quickly fixated onto the 3rd year middle blocker as they watch him snicker viciously.
Oh god..
You woke up due a sound that resembled an item smashing down into the ground just by downstairs, if you weren't alone by now. You would've accused your mother or father by breaking something in their behalf, but neither of your parents were present right at that moment. Leading you into a small shriek into expressing your surprised state, gulping down the lump in your throat as you hear several husky whispers and heavy footsteps making their way towards the stairs.
Feeling your heart beat increase in such speed of anxiety, you say up from your bed, your knees going up near your descending and ascending chest as you switfky grasp onto the colored blanket you had. The soft surface covering your body and half of your face, glancing towards the doorway that remained closed in a way of showing your attentiveness, your hands were trembling as a sign of your anxiety visibly showing.
"Oh no, w-we br-broke something!" your ear perked up, hearing the familiar voice of someone but you meekly ignored that well fact, seeing as it was merely impossible for Goshiki to be in your home in the early mornings, especially when they had extra curricular activities right about now. Just as you backed up into the corner and edges of your bed, you heard several thumps and grunts on the way through; which you absolutely had no idea what those burgles were doing, all you knew is that they were doing a shitty jop at being reticent.
"Correction: Satori broke something." your brows ceased in utter and visible curiosity along with the stirring confusion being perceptible by the way your [E/C] orbs looked clearly at the wooden door a slightly short distance away from your touch, your kind having contemplations and arguments whether you heard the said name incorrect or not. But again, you ended up believing it wasn't the middle blocker from Shiratorizawa. They were practicing right at this now, so why make that bold and possibly wrong assumption?
"I did no such thing! Shirabu was the one who pushed me!"
"Why would I push you, Senpai?!"
"Can ya'll shut up?!" your removed the blanket covering the top of your head, your accusations were further more than the truth. That was Tendō, Shirabu, along with Kawanishi practically yelling at each other just by the outside of your doorway, a few grumbles and sound of slaps were along heard.
It all went silent before the sound of soft and gentle knocking landed on the surface of your door, a deep yet soothing voice speaking once the knocking had stopped and gone away. "Are you awake, L/n?" your foot quickly touched the glacial floorboards of your own room, throwing away the blanket that covered your trembling body as you held onto the door knob - ready to open the wooden door but quickly got interrupted when it burst open.
You winched, being pushed back into your own bed along with your blanket being draped onto you once again, a wet towel suddenly placed on your warm forehead as you looked towards your side and spot the whole volleyball team arguing with the redhead blocker, "Why'd you kick the door?! It was open!" the tipped haired setter scolded, a slap once again landing on Tendō's nape afterwards.
"But SemiSemi, she wasn't answering!" he defensively argued back, his hands flaling around everywhere after his statement was considered as a bold response back, Yamagata suddenly sitting just right beside you with a expression of showing his clear amusement just by staring at. The others yell at each other just by things they did beforehand, you swore you heared Reon say something about the television almost broke but you meerly brushed it off once the pain in your forehead made another appearance and feeling.
"Aren't you guys supposed to be in practice..? Why are you here?" you questioned quietly, your throat startinh to ache from the moment you parted your lips apart - managing to spew out a few audible words to their hearings. Semi broke apart from Tendō with a quick push, dusting his clothes before looking over to meet your curious gaze glancing back and forth from everyone of them. With a sigh, the setter made his way closer to you, avoiding eye contact which inky showed he was beginning to appear as nervous.
"E-err, well-- Tendō began dancing as a strange choice of distraction while the rest of us left..?"
"You wHA–"
"Shush! You heard nothing!" Tendō interjected, his hand slapping over towards your mouth in order to stop your exclamations of surprise, his colored eyes practically smiling down at you. "That doesn't matter now, all we know is that our manager needs us!" they all started to agree and cheer with ecstacy, making you look at them with ceased eyebrows and an expression of evident confusion, the ace surprisingly following through whatever plan they had came up with.
Goshiki looked over to you, holding your hands tightly with a look of visible determination and affection in his face, the corner of his lips rising into a credential grin; "Don't worry Y/n-Senpai! We will take care of you! Look, we even brought you medicine." Yamagata sheepishly chuckled and nodded along, Semi regretting and possibly re-thinking his current life decisions right about now.
"Were gonna be the best nurses ever!" Tendō exclaimed happily, his feet jumping up and down whilst Ushijima looked at the pill that was in the plastic bag they had brought along with them, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he examined the medicine in between his index and thumb carefully. The redhead taking the pill from the ace's hands in a flash while giving it to you almost immediately with a bright smile on his face, "Here Y/n!" you gave the blocker a quick grim of amusement as you swallowed it nonchalantly, taking the glass of water convinently placed on the desk right beside your bed frame.
Ushijima looked as if he was in a verge of shock as he quickly gulped down the lump in his throat quickly, his hand going in the air as he made a swift comment. "That wasn't the correct medicine."

Pink Mage
There are many types of Mages; The Arcane Mages stuck in their towers studiously dedicated to magic and understanding, The Elemental Mages the most powerful and versatile branch, and finally the color mages who are a potent mix of the two. Of the color Mages, there are the primary Red, Blue, Yellow the rare White, Black, Infrared, and Ultraviolet the legendary Gamma and Beta, and finally there are the secondary colors, also known as the mixs Green, Brown, Orange, Purple, and finally Pink. Updates will be sporadic based on inspiration and motivation. Warning: I am a lazy uninspired individual so ya... So the inspiration for this is how everyone online is always a carry or assassin and nobody plays support classes to help the team. Also, there have been studies that the "support" roles at work in RL never get recognition for keeping the company cogs greased and turning. It's always the "top" [employee title] and the extra stuff people do to keep the business running is never appreciated. So I decided to wright Pink Mage. He is a support, though he has spells so he isn't a [Support] and incapable of defending himself. None of the classes are completely useless in a fight or without proper application. But the [Pink Mage] class is bugged so that there is no way to gimp the system to legendary status. All the other Solo legends can... well... Solo, but a [Legendary Pink Mage] can't solo, period. Sure he could cast a mix of spells so that an army is basically chickens on the chopping block but he would still have to go out there and gut them with a knife one by one. I don't own the title image, It was grabbed from public domain. Warning: the content warnings are real, though the content warned of is sporadic. I don't try to right that content specifically but Micky's life won't shy away from it! So yeah, rating R... Note: This is neither a 'Feel Good' or a 'Tragedy' and doesn't have those tags for a reason. This is the 'Real' biography and adventurers of the MC as I see the fantasy universe. So it is neither going to have extra lucky encounters or terrible ones (Except there will be, because you know, story.)
