《Haikyuu!! x Male reader one-shots》-Semi Eita-

"For the last time, I can't go to your swimming competition, Haruma. I have practice," I groaned.
"Please, Eita! Come to my tournament!" My cousin, Haruma, begged. We're currently on my front porch, Haruma on his knees at my feet.
"Ugh, fine, just get off my feet, damn!"
I ditched practice, and came to Haruma's swimming tournament against other schools. Coach is gonna kill me tomorrow, and I'm definitely not looking forward to that.
"Hey, Eita, you came!" Haruma yelled from the pool. I pinched the bridge of my nose in stress at how dumb he sounded.
"Yeah, of course I did!" I replied.
He waved, and went back to his swim team. I just shook my head, and looked around. There was the Aoba Johsai swim team. They're, as Haruma told me, the biggest swimming powerhouse in Miyagi. One particular boy got my attention. He had a cyan cap on, covering his hair, with a cyan uniform that said 'Aoba Johsai'. He had (s/c) skin, and (e/c) eyes. He was talking to Oikawa, and the vice captain of the volleyball club. I wish I could hear what they were saying, but I would have to go to Aoba Johsai's bleachers.
"Oh you're here too?" I heard someone ask.
"Jesus! Oh, it's just you," I said as I looked at Shirabu. Did he also skip practice? "Why are you here?"
"My brother is on the team like your cousin is." Shirabu pointed out.
"Oh. Did you skip too?" I asked.
"No shit, I don't even think Coach will let us skip for this." Shirabu replied.
"True."
I continued to watch the swim tournament with Shirabu. His brother won first place in butterfly stroke.
"Hah, yes, that's my brother!" Shirabu exclaimed.

"Whoa, calm down." I told him.
"... yeah, I should."
It was Haruma's turn to swim. He's a backstroke swimmer.
"It's your cousin," Shirabu pointed out.
"Yeah."
There was the guy from Aoba Johsai that was talking to Oikawa.
"Woo, that's our son!" Oikawa screamed, to which people stared at him in disbelief.
"Shut up, Shittykawa! That's not our son!" The vice-captain, as I heard Oikawa refer to him as 'Iwa-chan' shouted. I'd like to think that Iwa-chan is his real name, even though I'll have to keep dreaming.
The Aoba Johsai backstroke swimmer just shook his head in either disapproval, or disappointment, and dipped into the pool, getting ready to take off swimming like his competitors.
"Do you know who that is?" Shirabu asked me.
"No?"
"That's Aoba Johsai's star swimmer, (L/n) (Y/n). He's the best backstroke swimmer in this age range, winning nationals, and getting 3rd in international swimming in his first year. He's a third year now, and he's still the best swimmer of the highschool age in Japan. He's like Ushijima-senpai, but with swimming, and he goes to Aoba Johsai instead." Shirabu explained. "It won't come as a surprise if he wins everyone here by a storm."
"Yikes," I mumbled.
I watched him, and Haruma swim. They were around almost the same speed, but I guess Haruma got tired, and slowed down a bit, so (L/n) won.
"That was great, (S/l/n)-chan!" Oikawa shouted.
"Respectfully, please be quiet, Oikawa." (L/n) said in a surprisingly deep voice as he took his hat off to reveal his (h/l) (h/c) hair that was soaking wet from the swimming.
"Semi, you're blushing. What, did you fall in love with (L/n) already?" Shirabu scoffed as he put his head on the back of his hand.

"Maybe I did," I replied.
"Oh god. I should've mentioned this but your cousin, and him are rivals."
"Do I look like I care?" I asked him.
"No."
"Precisely."
I looked at (L/n) who was looking at me as well, and he mouthed something that looked like 'meet me down here'. I mouthed back an 'alright', and went to meet him once the tournament was over. He was wearing a (f/c) shirt, and shorts.
"Hey."
(L/n) turned his head, and waved at me. "Hello."
"So, why did you want me here?" I asked.
"Can I have your number?" He asked as he grabbed my hand. I blushed, and nodded.
"Sure, it's (number)."
"Thank you! You're Semi Eita, right?"
"How do you know?" I asked.
"Haruma mentioned that his cousin is coming to watch, so I kept an eye out for that." He admitted.
"You two are on first name bases?"
"Yeah, we're best friends. Did someone say we're rivals again?" (L/n) facepalmed. "We're only competitive, but not rivals."
"Oh, I see. Can I call you (Y/n)?"
"Of course," (Y/n) replied. "Can I call you Eita?"
"Well yeah."
We chatted for a while, until Haruma, and the Shirabu brothers (we're all going back to the dorms together) came.
"Hey, it's time to go," Shirabu said. "The gates are gonna close soon, and if we don't go back we're getting locked out."
"Oh hey (Y/n)," Haruma greeted.
"Hey Haruma-"
"(Y/n)-chan what are you doing with Shiratorizawa?! Are they trying to get you to go there?! Say no, if you do, I don't know how I'll cope with the loss of you as my third child," Oikawa dramatically fake cried.
"What the hell? First off, I was the one who wanted to talk to Eita. Second, I'm just fine at Aoba Johsai, we're one of the biggest swimming powerhouses in Miyagi, remember? Third off, I'm not your child, I'm a third year like you, not a first year like Kunimi, or Kindaichi." (Y/n) sternly fact-checked Oikawa.
"What?! You wanted to talk to Shiratorizawa?!" He shouted.
"Oi, Shittykawa, he can talk to them if he wants to." Iwa-chan chimed in. "I'm sorry he's wasting your time, I'll keep him in line next time."
"No worries. Let's go back to the dorms now, Shirabu." I told him. "I'll text you when I get back to the dorms."
"Alright."
"Hah?! You guys traded numbers?!" Oikawa screamed.
"Shut up, Oikawa." (Y/n) scowled.

A Friendly Voidling
When a Creature of the Void fails to find friendship among her own kind, she instead sets her sights upon another, human-filled world. Unfortunately, humans turn out to be rather small and squishy things, resulting in a mostly accidental trail of death, destruction and madness as she embarks on her journey to finally make some friends. This is a 25k word inane short story, and makes no attempt at being serious or realistic. It's my first attempt at trying a more comedic writing style. No relation to my other stories, aside from a brief cameo. Cover bodged together with Charat Genesis. Not quite the design I had in mind, but reasonably close. Doesn't contain explicit smut, but does contain references to stuff happening off-screen. May contain traces of gore. Also eels, in varying states of distress. Posted here and scribblehub.

Gods How I Hate Nature
While there are always choices in life, lately they’ve all tended to skew between bad, terrible, and suicidal. Tome finds himself typically choosing the latter. As if people and plants consistently trying to kill him wasn’t bad enough, he finds himself sent off to a Mage Spire along with a self-righteous other worlder (as though there were any other kind). Add to this some powerful figures in black, a sadistic instructor, an uptight law keeper, and Tome just wants to go back to his room, down a pint, and forget about everything… But, when someone starts a fight, especially someone bigger and stronger, you bide your time and strength. Before you can get revenge, you have to settle for surviving and slowly gaining power. That means accepting the most suicidal choices, doing the jobs no one else will do, always smiling, and not slitting that other worlder’s throat… (The story will incorporate comedy, but it will be a dark story. This won't be a happy, uplifting tale, but it also won't be too morose or depressing. Though if you're rooting for the other worlders, then I suppose it will be...)

Techno-Heretic
Eli is an ancient man sentenced to death for the crime of surpassing the sacred number of 32.8, which is the allowed percentage of increased mental ability from the use of AI chips. As he journeys through death and into a world of fantasy and magic, he finds himself approaching never before seen heights of magical power and ability. Powers that will shape the world and would see him go down in legends for generations ever after. But just because someone acquires magical abilities, that doesn't mean magic is suddenly the most important thing in their life. Some people aren't looking to be all-powerful gods, have the world bow at their feet, or spend their days obsessing over accumulating ever more power. Some people just want acceptance, stability, and the warmth of their loved ones to drive away the cold loneliness of the night. And in a world where magic is the bedrock of society, where magic is what determines who is preferred for siring children, where people with high magical ability are destined to live in great luxury and those without magic simply live to make due, this difference in values and perspective could not have a starker contrast. As Eli and the people around him navigate the misconceptions and deceptions of this world, he will represent a great and magnificent future for the human race. One where humanity will stand above the elves, dwarves, orcs, fairies, and all the horrors of the world. Sadly, men's tools are as fallible as the people who make them, and in a society where the potential of an individual is determined solely through their magical level, this seed of promise may yet turn venomous.
