Wakatoshi sat on his bed, scared to death. But of course, his face was stoic as usual.
"I swear I won't hurt you..." the monster said as he looked at the tall teen who was probably 18 years old. He was 18, too.
But... What happened?
"Wakatoshi-kun!"
"Ah, Tendou." Wakatoshi greeted his best friend. "Is there something you need?"
"I found this super cool volleyball tips tutorial book thing, and I wanna know if you want to read it together."
"Sure, let's do that."
The two walked to Wakatoshi's house, and settled down in his room.
"OK. So, it said something about performing a ritual?" Tendou confusedly stated.
Long story short, the two did the ritual, and ended up summoning a demon named (Y/n).
"Who are you...?" Wakatoshi asked.
"Oh, I'm (Y/n). You summoned me here..."
Wakatoshi stared (Y/n) down as he recollected the ritual he did.
"Oh."
They stared at each other for a long minute until they finally realized the impact this had on them.
"Wait, that means you need to sell your soul to me, otherwise I can't go back?! Or at least form a pact, or something..." (Y/n) exclaimed.
"... uh."
"Well?! Say something?!"
"I don't want anything. I just want to play volleyball."
"YOU ALREADY DO?! YOU CAN'T WISH FOR SOMETHING YOU ALREADY HAVE?!"
"Please calm down-"
"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?! MY MOM IS ILL, WAITING FOR ME TO GET HER FOOD, AND WE'RE JUST HERE CHIT CHATTING-"
"Please don't panic. I'll form a pact with you."
(Y/n) gasped. "Oh damn- thank you so much! Whenever you need me, just summon me, and I'll be right there!"
And with that, (Y/n) was gone.
"Huh... that was... odd. But he looks adorable, I might summon him."

"Ha! Are you in trouble?!" (Y/n) exclaimed.
"Uh, no. I just wanted to talk."
"Oh." (Y/n) sighed as he crossed his arms. "Well? What do you wanna talk about?"
"Just... anything." Ushijima replied.
"Mmmmm, well, uh, you like volleyball, right?"
"Yes? How did you know?"
"It's, like, all over your room. Posters, books, etc." (Y/n) explained as he pointed everywhere in Ushijima's room.
"Oh."
"Yep. Anyway, is there anything I should know about you?"
.
.
.
The longer they knew of each other, the closer they got. So close, but still. Interbreeding isn't exactly... accepted, so they just tend to keep their talks friendly and try to hide their feelings for each other, until (Y/n) couldn't take it anymore.
"Wakatoshi, I really like you... I don't want this to ruin our lives or anything like that, and if you want to, you can forget that I exist-" (Y/n) rambled.
"Please calm down. I feel the same."
(Y/n) smiled a bit. "Oh! Thank you..."
Things will be hard for them, yes, but they swore they'll make it together.

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.
