He was like the sun. He would brighten up your day.
Sometimes you would feel like shit. You wouldn't even be able to force a smile. But Hinata was there for you.
He would approach you with a smile on his face. He would grab your hand, intertwining your fingers. Then nuzzle his body close to you, so he could feel your heat and you could feel his.
"Are you okay?" His chocolate eyes stared into yours, making it a bit hard to look away.
"...Sorry, but I don't feel like talking right now..."
He would respect your decision. Hinata would respond with an "okay" and continue to walk with you. He would continue to grip your hand. Right before you split ways to go to class, he would give you a hug, almost squishing you.
During lunch break, he would rush to your classroom, hoping you were in a better mood. And usually you were. He would greet you with a smile. He would ask "Are you okay?" again. And this time you would tell him what was on your mind. After getting all that off your chest, you would feel lighter. Hinata would smile and reassure you.
You would be able to feel his warmth radiating from both his words and his smile.

Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
