i'm really absorbed with the storyline of this movie. why is he so confident? what if he really shoots?

well, when one of the actor pulled the trigger and shot another man, this is the scene i eagerly wanted to watched.

but then, a big hand covered my eyes from watching the scene.

"what are you doing?!" i scolded jungkook as he blocked my view.

"i picked the wrong movie. it's too brutal for a pregnant woman to watch." he said casually, eyes still on the screen.

"this movie is rated r and not rated no pregnant women." i snapped at him, feeling annoyed.

that was the climax!

"chae, you may be okay. but, our doo-jool is too young for this."

seriously?

in conclusion, i don't get to watch the entire movie since there're a lot of shooting scene after that.

and jungkook kept covered my eyes using his hand.

"this movie is too violent." he said.

"this is too much...if i don't get to watch those scenes, then this movie is-" i said as i tried to looked at him.

but he is so close! our nose are nearly bump to each other.

both of us are blushing. i could see it on his face and i could feel it on my face.

and he took my chin as he moves closer to my face.

we tried to kiss.

the scene from the movie quickly made us realize with the current situation. we let go of each other and sit further away.

we almost kissed!

my heart is about to escape from my body. beating so fast.

i had a flashback to that night.

i remembered where his lips were all over my body. what his lips tasted like..

suddenly, i heard jennie and taehyung laughing with each other. i looked at them, they are happy in their own world.

why my body and heart are running in two different directions?

as we walked out the movie theater, i could hear jennie and taehyung's conversation.

"i love the movie! it is so fun!" jennie exclaimed. yeah, it's fun. (😑)

but then, taehyung's phone suddenly rang.

"hm? looks like namjoon called." taehyung said.

"namjoon?"

"yeah. uh..he said the logo is done. i gotta go take a look."

"oh..really?" jennie looked a bit disappointed, probably thinking that taehyung will leave her alone then.

"want to come with me?" taehyung asked, making jennie's face brighter than before.

"huh?"

"i need to pick one of the three final logos. you're the artistic one and i don't have a good eye for stuff like this." taehyung explained.

"of course! leave it to me! i don't know why namjoon left it up to you! let's go! namjoon is probably waiting for us." jennie agreed and they walked hand in hand.

"all right. chae, we're going to take off first!" jennie waved a goodbye to me and left with taehyung.

"okay, bye.." i waved back.

so now, it's just me and jungkook.

this is so awkward.

suddenly, he softly grabbed my hand, making me startled.

"why don't we head out, too?" he said.

"ah..okay.."

i silently eat the pasta in front of me. so yummy! but the scene of jennie and taehyung kept playing on my mind. i really don't have that much appetite.

"did you not enjoy the movie?" jungkook asked, his face concerned.

"hm?"

"you seem down after the movie.." he added.

"ah..i felt bad for the main character." i said, searching for a nice answer. i really don't want to talk right now.

but i feel pity towards jungkook.

he is the one who planned this date and i don't want to ruin it.

"you felt bad for him?"

"yes. he used to be so active, but the movie ended with him so old. he wasn't able to hike up the mountain. he was like a hero to me. so it was sad to see. it feels like my hero..was taken from me..? does that sound silly?" i awkwardly laugh. i'm so grateful that today's movie is the one i really wanted to watch.

i get to talk about it and pretend to be okay.

"i could be your hero." jungkook said.

what? is he an ironman or something?

"what do i need to do to become park chaeyoung's hero? do i need to be able to run up a mountain without breaking a sweat? or maybe i need to build more muscle?" he said, trying to entertain me.

build more muscle? he is now is just enough for me.

"ahh! please stop teasing me!" i laughed. he's making me so cringe!

he smiled.

as we enjoyed our food, jungkook said, "i'd like to ask you a question." he eyed me intently.

"what is it?"

i looked up to see him too.

"your friend, taehyung."

"yes?" what with him?

"your friend, taehyung. do you like him?"
