The next morning I did my usual routine.

I got up, got ready, and left.

I waiting for Izuku when I saw Katsuki walk by.

"Morning Combustion Boy!" I waved to him.

He grunts a "Mornin'" and keeps walking.

When Izuku came out we began walking to school, talking on the way.

I wonder what kind of day this will be. I thought to myself.

If it's anything like the first day, it will be an adventure of its own.

The first half of the day was just like regular school. Even so, I did my best to pay attention.

Then there was lunch in the large cafeteria. I still can't believe this is a school cafeteria.

Izuku, Tenya, Ochaco, and I got out food and sat down to eat. I saw Todoroki sitting by himself again and greeted him again. Sure we are in the same class but he only pays attention to class stuff.

He gave me a glance and acknowledged I had greeted him and went back to eating.

I sat at a table with the three and someone approached us. It was the cook hero Lunch Rush as Izuku said, silently freaking out as Lunch Rush talked to us about our food.

After lunch, it was time for Basic Hero Training. We made our way to class

Izuku sat down at his desk and I hung around him until class started. Ochaco came over and talked with us.

The chatter was brought to an end when the door abruptly opened.

We all rushed to our seats.

A familiar voice rang through the classroom.

"I. AM. HERE!" All Might exclaimed, "Coming through the door like a hero!" He posed by the door, he was in one of his hero outfits.

The class burst into noises of surprise. People made excited comments on All Might's presence.

He marched to the front of the class. "Welcome to the most important class at UA high! Think of this as heroing 101! Here you will learn the basics of being a pro!" He exclaims. The class was quiet and attentive. "And what it means to fight in the name of good!" he adds.

"Let's get into it! Today's lesson will be about battle!" He says in his excited tone.

Kastuki sure seemed excited to fight.

Izuku seemed a little worried, but when is he not?

"But one of the keys to being a hero is.." He says, " looking good!" he turned and pointed towards a wall.

A compartment opened up on the side of the classroom. Briefcases emerged from it with numbers correlating with our seat numbers.

Oh! Must be the hero outfits they had us design.

After that thought, All Might confirmed my thought and explained that they were indeed our outfits. Everyone was audibly excited.

"Get yourselves suited up and then meet me at Training ground Beta!" He said and we all got up to get our outfits.

"Yes, sir!" We replied.

We took the briefcases and were escorted to the locker rooms.

As we changed, I couldn't help but notice how cool the other girls' outfits are. I kinda began to second guess my design choices.

We all got dressed and began walking to the place we were told to meet All Might. We had run into the boys on our way and fell silent as we walked through a tunnel to the other side.

I couldn't see Izuku but I ended up walking by Kastuki. I studied his hero outfit.

Wow, he's letting you know exactly what his quirk is.

He didn't seem to notice I was next to him. It was a little dark in the tunnel. We all emerged from the tunnel and I blinked a few times to adjust to the brightness.

All Might was greeting us and called us cool.

"Now, Shall we get started? You buncha newbies!" he said.

I looked around some more and Izuku still wasn't there. Maybe he was taking longer to change.

I decided to talk to Katsuki while we all waited.

"Your costume is pretty cool Bakugou," I said to him looking at his grenade gauntlets.

"Tsk, course it is, I designed it. Why's yours so plain?" he asks.

"Well...I'm not that creative. My quirk is pretty plain so I guess I match heh." I said rubbing the back of my head.

I then heard footsteps coming from the tunnel, from the way it sounded, it seemed like Izuku was running to catch up. I went over to the entrance of the tunnel and waited for him.

"Hey Deku!" Both Ochaco and I greeted at the same time. We giggled at the unison. I guess we are both using that nickname. It seemed a little more appropriate than to call him Zuzu.

"(Y/N)! Uraraka!" He was a little startled at the sudden greeting.

"I like your costume," I said with a smile as I looked at it more. It kinda resembles All Might, that's so cute.

"Yeah, not too flashy ya know?" Uraraka added.

I turned my attention to Ochaco as she explained how she should have been more specific in her costume details.

"I know how you feel," I responded to her, "My costume is a little tight for my liking too. But your costume still looks cool, it kinda suits you." I reassured her. I saw Izuku looking at me from the corner of my eye as I talked to Ochaco.

Some kid commented on 'loving this school' which wouldn't have been a big deal if he wasn't eyeing us beforehand. That made me a little uncomfortable. Izuku seemed to notice the kids comment as well.

I also noticed Katsuki looking over at us but when I looked back, he looked away.

We walked to the front of the crowd when All Might began explaining what we were doing.

Tenya spoke up though. Something about this being the fake city the exam was taken place in. He went on to ask his questions which were answered my All Might.

All Might began talking about fights with villains, how we see most encounters outside, but most encounters with the worst ones are indoors.

"For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two-on-two indoor battles," he explains.

One student mentions how advanced this is and All Might responds with how on the battled field we get the best training.

Then, one after another people began asking their questions, interrupting All might.

He then explained the setup. We then pulled lots.

How will this work if we have an uneven amount of teams?

I thought to myself.

I was paired with......

Todoroki.

Oh, ok then. I wonder if he'll actually talk to me now.

Ochaco and Izuku were paired up together and Ochaco seemed really bubbly about it. To be honest, she was so adorable.

Then All Might drew teams and put Team D: Tenya and Kastuki against Team A: Izuku and Ochaco.

Izuku was a little shaken now in the situation and Katsuki looked like he was ready to fight Izuku right then and there.

All Might told the rest of us to watch from the monitor room so we began walking.

I gave Izuku a reassuring pat on the back, "You'll do great." I told him.

I walked past Kastuki, "Don't kill him." I say with a wink and walked with the rest of the class. I was kinda worried though.

We all got in and they were preparing. I decided to spark a conversation with Todoroki. He didn't really talk much as per usual. His costume was....interesting.

Then the exercise began.
