"Here put this blind fold on" sage had stepped in front of Deshawn so she could tie the scarf over his eyes.
"No" Deshawn said.
"Why" sage said.
"Cuz you could be tryna kidnap me" Deshawn said
All sage did was mug him.
"Nigga Ur 6'1 it would be a hell of a challenge to kidnap u" sage said laughing.
"Don't act like you ain't 5'10 nigga" Deshawn said laughing back.
"Cmonnnn we needa go" sage said.
"Okay okay" Deshawn bent down a lil so it would be a lil easier for her to tie it.
Sage walked him back over to the car. So she could grab their phones.
Then lead him on a path through the park.
"Where are we going sage?" Deshawn asked
"Somewhere, just trust me okay" sage said smiling
"Aight" Deshawn said.
Soon enough the two made it too their destination
"Take off the scarf" sage told him
Deshawn pulled the scarf off and couldn't do nun but smile and hug sage at what it was. It was a painting picnic. The thing is it was more than just a painting Picnic, this moment symbolizes something between the two lovers. She had a blanket on the grass, painting canvas, paints, pillows, a speaker, and of course Popeyes.
They sat down and enjoyed each other's company. There were no distractions no nothing, except them in they own world.
"Bro not you having the Popeyes too mamas" Deshawn said laughing.
"Shol do" Sage said sitting down on the blanket.
Then they started painting, focusing on the peace of being with each other. Novacane by Frank ocean was playing from the speaker.
"When was the last time we did this" sage asked dipping her brush in the paint.
"2 years ago" Deshawn said chuckling.

"Yeaaa" sage said smiling back
From there they continued to talk and finish their paintings.
It was evening so the sun was setting and had those nice ombré of colors. It was like they were the only ones in the world right now. They're brownskin shined golden in the light. Sage's Afro big full and beautiful. It surely showed off her melanin features. Deshawn had his locs in two ponytails since sage insisted they would be cute and wouldn't stop arguing with him till he agreed. You could see his pearly whites from him smiling the whole time.
"You done" Deshawn asked putting his brush down.
"Yes" Sage said working on a final line.
"On the count of 3 hand each other our paintings" sage said.
"Yes ma'am" Deshawn said, and they both start laughing.
"Okay 1......2.....3..." Sage finished counting.
I'm front of Sage she saw a sunset background with a shadow of a curvy tall shadow. He even had the Afro. It was beautiful just like her. Deshawn loved her for everything she was and will become within the next few years. In his eyes she was a beautiful entrepreneur, a beautiful black women, a loving friend, a loving bestie, and a loving girlfriend, she was his other half. She was his queen and he was her king.
Deshawn was handed a painting of a two faces connected by locs. One face was facing right, other facing left. They was at a calm state of mind and were smiling. You could tell the difference of who was who since Deshawn had dimples when he smiled.
Sage sat the painting down, and Deshawn caught on and put his down as well. They need to dry anyway. Sage scooted over to Deshawn and laid back on his chest. And Deshawn wrapped his arms around her. They sat there in silence, and just enjoyed the moment.

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?

Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
