I walked up to her desk to see what she wanted.
"Yes" I said
"Your one of my top students in 10th grade, and I appreciate your hard work" Ms Lee said
"Thank you, and what do you need ms Lee" I asked her. Anytime she needed a favor or something she would start of like that.
"Alrighty, I have a student that's not doing so well in one of my classes and i was wondering if you can tutor him" Ms Lee said.
I was about to say something cus I don't like helping. Since majority of people end up getting offended or don't even listen.
"It would only last till April, this student has a lot of potential himself and is smart. I'll even give you money in April out my appreciation of you helping" Ms Lee said smiling.
The thing she left out was the boy was a new student.
He didn't talk much, unless when needed.
"Okay I'll try, but I can't promise you no Albert Einstein out of this" I told her
"Thank you and I know, I have him in my next period so could you stay back to introduce yourself to him please" Ms Lee said
"Alright no problem" I said and went back to my seat.
People lucky I'm kind-hearted like my pops.

I was humming along with H.E.R till I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took my air pod out.
I looked up and was met with caramel eyes. It was tall brown skin boy. He had black locs w/ those blonde tips, pink braces, and beats around his neck.

"As i was saying Sage this is Deshawn the student you'll be tutoring" Ms Lee said.
He looked at her confused.
"Um I thought you were going to help me but aight" Deshawn said
"She is one of my top students, and is amazing" Ms Lee told him
He looked over at me. No facial expression.....just still.
"Alrighty well um good luck you too" Ms Lee said walking out the class. Trying not to laughing.
She wrong for this.
I get up and grab my backpack to leave. As I'm walking to the door. He grabs my arm. Not in a rough way but gentle.
"My bad I ain't know she was giving me a tutor, I should have said hi" Deshawn said.
Damn his voice fine and deep.
"I-it's fine, see you tomorrow i guess, we can meet in the library at 3:00" I told him.
Not me stutteringggggg.
"Okay, see you later professor" he said smiling.
"Bye" I said chuckling back. I had a pass to make sure I wouldn't be counted tardy for my next class.
