《The Poetry Collection》Foundations

Every day I see more that reminds me

Of the life we could have had

Split between two fierce loves

Both uncontrolled and out of line

I'm the adulterer of course

Never the one allowed to play victim

I did so much to try to make you see

But that's just not how eyes work

So I pass by all of the decor or trinkets

I would've bought for our little life

As the grief bites harder every day

I wait for my final collapse
