Tina nervously paces back and forth as Evelyn picks at the cotton on her clothing, they're both waiting anxiously for Newt. Neither said a word to one another too scared to hear what the other might be thinking.

After what felt like hours (although was only minutes) the two girls found themselves helping Newt climb down from the window.

Once his feet hit the ground Evelyn couldn't control herself any longer and flung her arms around him hugging him tighter than she'd ever hugged anyone before. Almost as though afraid he'd be taken from her if she let go.

Newt who was taken a back by this, soon smiled in content as he held her small frame close to him.

Soon the three were back with Queenie and Jacob on top of The Squire's rooftop to get a good look out at the city once more.

From they edge they can see the chaos going on below as the Oscurus causes absolute destruction to the streets of New York.

"Jeez.. is that the Obscuria- thing?" Jacob asks shock upon his face as he looks out over the edge as sirens can be heard below getting closer and closer.

"That's more powerful than any Obscurial I have ever heard of..." Newt states bewildered as his eyes are filled with fascination.

All of a sudden a loud explosion can be heard in the distance as Evelyn grabs a hold of Newt's hand in fear.

Newt gives Evelyn's hand a gentle squeeze as he looks at her sadly knowing he must protect her and go without her to try save the Obscurus.

Thrusting his case gently into her arms he takes out a journal from his coat and begins to speak.

"If i don't come back, look after my creatures. Everything you need to know is in there" He gestures to the journal in his hands before placing it on top of the suitcase.

"What?" Evelyn and Tina say simultaneously to Newt.

Newt looks back to the direction of the chaos before turning to them again.

Giving Evelyn a sweet kiss on her forehead and a friendly smile to Tina he says "They're not killing it" before jumping off the roof and disaparating.

"NEWT!" Evelyn calls out.

"You heard him - look after them!" Tina says grabbing the journal and suitcase from Evelyn and passing them to Queenie and Jacob before taking a hold of Evelyn's hand as they too Disapparate.
