«looking for you in my dreams»
✎
I casually watched videos on my phone as I waited for everyone to return from lunch.
Staying here in the classroom made me realize how much of a loner I am.
Maybe I should try interacting with people more. How else will I make friends? Ignoring everybody won't make this school year any fun.
"Why aren't you in the cafeteria?"
I turned my head towards the door and saw Seojun. He walked over to his desk and began looking in his bag.
I took off my ear buds, "I'm not hungry," I answered quietly.
He glanced at me, "don't starve yourself you need to eat."
I looked down at my phone, "I'll eat when I get home I'm still full from the breakfast I ate," my fingers nervously tapped on my desk as Seojun kept his eyes on me.
He threw his bag on his chair, "you look hungry though."
I shook my head quickly, "I'm not."
Suddenly a bag of cookies were thrown on my desk. I jumped back as I turned over to Seojun and saw him exiting the classroom.
Han Seojun caring for others. Weird since we're not even friends. I hesitated to open the bag of cookies but my hunger gave in and I began munching on them.
I smiled as the thought of Seojun offering me food filled my head.
The classroom door opened once again. I looked up to see who it was only for it to be Suho.
I can tell Suho doesn't like me being around. I know he's not a social person but I don't appreciate the cold looks I receive from him.
He went looking inside his bag, completely ignoring me. I didn't mind though.
I ate my cookies quietly. Trying my best not to make any noise and catch his attention.

"You should really head to the cafeteria instead of saying here all day," Suho said to me as he walked out.
I sat there confused.
Was he concerned or trying to make fun of me?
The school day thankfully went by quick. I grabbed my bag and strolled over to Jukyung. She smiled but quickly gave me a sad look.
"I am so sorry Yeeun but I won't be able to come and finish the project with you guys," she spoke, "I have to help my parents out with something," she sounded hesitant when saying her reasoning.
I nodded, "it's fine. We only have a little bit left to finish since we did half of it during class."
"You'll have Seojun to do the project with though," Jukyung said.
I raised my eyebrows, "Suho's not coming?"
She shook her head nervously, "he told me he doesn't feel well so he's going home instead."
I nodded once more, "oh okay."
I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see who it was.
"Let's go finish the project," Seojun began walking away not even giving me a chance to respond.
I quickly followed behind him.
Seojun stopped walking and leaned on the walls, "they're obviously going to hang out."
I shrugged, "who cares."
Seojun pushed himself off the wall and tilted his head, "what do you mean who cares?" he scoffed, "we're stuck finishing this project while they're out having fun."
I sucked in my lips, "are you jealous?"
He placed his hands in his pockets, "so what if I am?"
I laughed, "let's just go finish this project," I began walking out the school building and Seojun ran up to me.
"How about we go out to eat instead?" Seojun suggested.

I shook my head, "no we have to finish this project."
Seojun shook my shoulders, "we still have time stop being so lame."
I sighed and rolled my eyes. Seojun smiled before leading the way to a convenience store near the school.
"Why are you always in the classroom," he asked, "do you not have friends?"
Irritated with what just came out his mouth, I sucked in my cheeks and answered, "I do."
He laughed loudly, "sure you do."
"No wonder Jukyung prefers Suho over you," I lashed out.
Seojun quickly spun around to face me, anger swept over his face, "let's just get through the rest of this day peacefully," he muttered.
We arrived at the convenience story after about two minutes of walking in silence. Seojun opened the door and surprisingly let me walk in before him.
I thanked him before speeding over to the snack aisle.
My hands reached out for some gummies and bags of chips. Seojun walked somewhere else. I began to head over for a drink and bumped into him.
He had a cup of ramen in one hand and a bottle of soda in the other, "are you done picking out what to get?"
I grabbed a juice and quickly nodded.
Seojun suddenly snatched what I was carrying and walked over to the cash register. I froze in confusion. He tossed me my snacks after paying for them.
"Thank you..." I quietly spoke.
Seojun only nodded and exited the store. I quickly followed him.
"See how nice I am?" He turned to ask me.
I rolled my eyes, "the only nice thing you've ever done," I said while opening my bag of chips.
Seojun stayed silent. He put his hands in his pockets before speaking once again, "can I ask you a question?"
"Sure," I responded.
He sucked in his lips, hesitating for a few moments before opening his mouth, "have you ever liked someone who clearly has eyes for someone else?"
I stopped munching on the chips, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Why?" I crossed my arms. I giggled and slowly walked closer to him, "does somebody not like you back?" I sarcastically asked him.
Seojun rolled his eyes, "answer my question please I dont want your unnecessary side comments."
"Is this about Jukyung and Suho?" I laughed loudly, "wow Han Seojun surprised a girl doesn't like him back!" I clapped my hands right in his face.
Seojun turned red, "okay let's drop you off home now," he grabbed my arm and yanked me towards the direction of my house.
He placed his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him, "don't tell anyone about this."
My eyes popped wide open once I felt his touch. The pounding from my heart was so hard it was almost as if it was trying to escape my body.
Seojun being so near me gave my stomach a tingly feeling. I glanced at him and met his eyes. My stomach exploded with the tingles.
"I won't," I muttered nervously.
I turned to look at him once again and there he was smiling at me.
What is this feeling?
