Everything was a blur. Momo dragged you by your arm to your room and tucked you in bed.
.
.
"What??"
"Please, Taehyung. Just this once. You and Y/n are close friends, aren't you?" Heechul said.
"You know dating isn't allowed on working grounds." I said, while looking at both of them.
"But we're not in the studio right now." Momo smiled.
"Fine, just this once." I said then went to Y/n's room. I walked around slowly trying not to wake her up. Momo warned me that she was a little drunk.
"Hm? Momo?" I heard Y/n mumble as she lifted her head. I approached her and gently forced her head back onto the pillow.
"Shh, go back to sleep."
"Hoseok?"
"I'm not Hos-" I said but got interrupted.
"I miss you." She tugged at my shirt, not wanting me to leave.
"Y/n, it's Taehyung." I said and sat by the edge of her bed.
"Don't leave me like...like everyone." she muttered. Leave her? "Mom...dad...friends...Hoseok..."
I felt bad, as I remembered what she told me about her parents neglecting her in the past. Also, I thought she was doing better and that she was getting over Hoseok slowly, but I guess she was just hiding how she truly felt. Just then, her phone started ringing. Speak of the devil.
"Y/n?" I heard Hoseok's nervous voice.
"It's me, Taehyung." I said.
"Is Y/n ok??"
"Why wouldn't she be?" I asked.
"Oh thank god, I was so worried once I saw 12 missed calls from her." He said.
"Oh, she probably called you while she was drunk. She isn't really doing well."
"I see." I heard the frown in his voice. "Please take care of her, Tae. It breaks my heart knowing she's like this because of me."

"Don't worry, Hobi. I will." I said and put her phone back on the nightstand.
I was about to get up but she held on tighter.
"Look over there," I pointed at the other bed. "I'm not leaving you, I'm just going to sleep there."
She slightly opened her eyes but didn't remove her grip. "Stay."
.
.
.
.
You opened your eyes slightly as the sunlight entered the room. Your head still hurt from last night, as you tried to remember how much you drank. You closed your eyes again, but you noticed something off. The pillow's texture was way harder than it should be. You opened your eyes once again and to your horror, you saw Taehyung.
You quickly removed your head from his chest and tried to recall last night's events. Did I do something stupid? Ugh!
Taehyung opened his eyes and you noticed him blush as he got up and went to the bathroom. You waited for him to return to ask him the embarrassing question.
"Don't worry." He said as he left the bathroom with a towel around his neck. "Nothing happened. You were just being clingy."
You laughed awkwardly, "I'm sorry."
"It's alright," He said. He seemed like he wanted to ask a question but hesitated.
"Is anything on your mind?" You asked him. He nodded.
"You don't need to reply if it makes you uncomfortable...but don't you want to visit your parents at least once?"
You were taken aback by the question. You realized that you probably brought up something about them last night.
"They disappeared a few years back. I haven't been able to contact them since." You said.
"What about Jimin?" He asked, "Maybe he knows what happened to them."
"I doubt it. He hated them more than I did. He wouldn't want anything to do with them."

"I see." He replied.
"What about you?" You asked, "Don't you ever want to confront your father, or see how your sister is doing?"
"Someday, not now." He said with a faint smile.
"Let's make a deal then. We face them together. I'll be by your side, you'll be by mine."" You said.
He smiled, "Deal."
.
.
.
.
"Welcome back!" Jungkook and Jimin said in unison when you entered your apartment. A small figure ran towards Taehyung.
"Yeontan, my baby!" He said as he hugged him tightly.
"Wait, I just realized that he hasn't been here for the past few days. Where was he?" You asked.
"He was with Hyungsik, one of Taehyung's friends." Jungkook replied, "He just dropped him by a few minutes ago."
"When I got too stressed with Seokjin, I was scared I'd neglect tannie, so I gave him to my friend for a short while." Taehyung clarified. "It's a shame Hyungsik already left though, I would've loved to see him."
"Ohhh."
"How was your trip?" Jimin asked.
"It was great." You replied and Taehyung nodded. "I just need a nice, long shower." You said and headed towards the bathroom.
Half an hour later, you finished taking a shower and went to the living room to see what the guys were up to.
"I said I wanted the blue controller!" Taehyung said.
"Unfair, I was already playing with it before you came!." Your brother replied with a frown across his face. Jungkook seemed not to be bothered by their argument.
"Guys!" You yelled, "Quiet. You're not five. Jungkook is the youngest but acts like he's older than you guys."
"Fine," Taehyung said and dropped the blue controller, "You can have it."
"I don't want it anymore." Jimin replied with an eye roll.
"Take it!"
"No!"
You sighed and went to the kitchen. You hoped there were leftovers from earlier during the week. Unfortunately, there weren't, so you had to cook. You went for something simple as you weren't in the mood- pasta.
A few moments later, you felt a hand ruffle your hair. "What are you cooking?" Taehyung asked, then sat on the counter.
"Nothing much, just pasta."
"Well, at least you can make pasta without burning down the whole kitchen." He laughed.
"Don't worry, it took me so much practice just to learn how to make it properly. Besides, didn't you make waffles the other day? They were actually good."
A nervous smile appeared on his face, "Those were ready-made, I just had to heat them up."
You laughed, "Should've realized that."
"Y/n..." He said in a serious tone, causing you to make eye contact.
"Ya?"
"Are you still upset over Hoseok?" He asked.
You were about to lie and say you weren't, but realized it wouldn't do you any good.
"Honestly...yes, I am." You said, "I got overly excited and thought we'd be together for the rest of our lives. He was the first person I ever liked, and when he said he liked me back, I felt loved for the first time in years." You looked up expecting to see jealousy from him, but instead, he looked sorry.
"I understand." He replied, "Maybe you don't feel it all the time, but you are surrounded by people who care about you deeply."
He then got up and gave you a hug, "Don't suppress how you feel, or else, you'll never be able to get over it." He said quietly next to your ear then backed away.
You felt your face heat up, but cleared your throat to cover it up, "I won't."

Artemis
"Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl.
