"Wow, Y/n." Jimin said, "Your cooking really is horrible."
"I'd like to see you try." You said.
"It's not that bad." Jungkook said.
"Am I the only one who actually likes it?" Taehyung asked.
"It's just because you're biased." Your brother replied.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Taehyung said, while crossing his arms around his chest. They clearly haven't gotten over their argument.
"What do you think?" He said, "I saw you guys hugging in the kitchen a few minutes ago."
You choked on the macaroni in your mouth, as Taehyung's face turned into a tomato. Jungkook's eyes widened as a smirk appeared on his face.
"Noona~" He teased, "What are you hiding?"
"Nothing!" You said, "Are you guys done?" You asked as you took the plates to the kitchen before hearing their reply.
"Hey! I wasn't done!" Jimin yelled.
"Sorry, Y/n." Taehyung said as he placed his plate on the kitchen counter, "I won't hug much if it makes you uncomfortable." He blushed.
"No-no, it's alright...I guess." You smiled awkwardly. "ّIt's what friends do."
"Right. Friends." He gave a faint smile.
You noticed the falter in his voice but decided to ignore it. It was no secret that he liked you. Knowing that before made you uncomfortable, but now it felt different. You weren't sure if those feelings were real or if he was a rebound. You definitely weren't completely over Hoseok, but you were getting better by the day. Over this dilemma, you decided to let time sort out your feelings.
"Hey, Tae," You said. He looked up with hopeful eyes.
"Let's go out, I'm bored."

"So your favorite flavor is strawberry?" You asked him while taking a lick of your own ice cream.
"I don't really have a favorite, but I usually feel like eating this one." He smiled, as you two completed walking down the nature-filled path.

"Wait." You said as you halted, "We should take a photo."
He gave you a questioning look. "I like saving photos of fun memories to look at them later." You clarified and he smiled.
"I do, too."
After taking a selfie, Taehyung stared at you. "You're a mess." he said as he pointed at your ice cream covered cheek.
"You should look at yourself." You laughed while pointing at his spot. He laughed as well then took some tissues out of his pocket. He wiped his cheek then yours with a different one. He was way too close to your face, it messed with your heart a little.
"You're cute." He teased then walked away to throw the tissues in a nearby trash can. You were glad he walked away, or else he would've definitely noticed your flushed face.
When Taehyung came back, he took your hands in his.
"H-hey!" you backed away.
"What?" He smiled innocently, then took your hand back. "When I was younger, my sister and I held hands like this once when we planned to run away from our father."
Your eyes widened. "Did you?"
"It failed." He laughed, "We were both cowards. Once we realized we had nowhere to sleep, we went right back."
You didn't know whether to laugh or feel bad for them. "What did your dad do?" you asked with a laugh.
"He was too drunk to notice." His gaze lowered. You then realized that the story was an excuse to keep your hand in his. His hands were big and warm, it made your face heat up thinking about it. You quickly pulled your hand away.
Taehyung frowned a little, "I was planning to give this later, but I think it's best to do it now since someone is not being cooperative."
He took out something from his pocket, "Close your eyes." He demanded and you did. You felt something soft being wrapped around your wrist. You opened your eyes and looked at your wrist, it was a friendship bracelet. He had one too.

"I understand that you can't accept my feelings for you, but I'm still happy we get to be friends." He smiled, "This is nothing compared to what you deserve, but I'm broke."
You laughed, "Are we kids now?"
"Kids aren't the only ones who have friends." He replied defensively.
"Thank you, Tae." You smiled.
"You're welcome." He scratched the back of his head, as you noticed the color of his face turn into a light shade of red.
"I see some people are finally getting along." Both you and Taehyung turned your heads to the direction of the voice, it was your boss, Namjoon.
"It's nothing like that!" You replied defensively.
"Sure." Namjoon laughed, "If you say so."
You both smiled at each other awkwardly. Luckily, your phone saved you as you got a call. You took it out of your pocket and checked who it was. Jungkook.
"Hey, kookie." You said, "What? Ok! We'll come."
Taehyung gave you a questioning look. "Jungkook and Jimin got us tickets for an escape room. It should be fun, are you free today?"
"Am I?" He asked Namjoon.
Namjoon opened his phone then smiled, "You are. Go have some fun!"
"Thank you." You both bowed then left. The escape room wasn't too far from where you already were, but it did need a car ride. Taehyung drove as you played some music on the speakers.
"Your style is so...aggressive." He said, causing you to laugh. "Why? What do you like listening to?" You asked.
He played a song to show you. It started with the soft strumming of a guitar and some piano notes were playing in the background. It wasn't your style but it made you smile seeing how relaxed he was by it.
Once you reached the escape room, you were greeted by Jungkook and Jimin. They had a girl with them, you recognized her almost instantly, Ahn Hye-jin.
"Y/n!" She hugged you, "How're you?"
You hugged her back excitedly, "Hye-jin, I missed you."
Jimin smiled, while Jungkook and Taehyung were a little confused as to who she was.
"A childhood friend." Jimin told them, and they both mouthed an 'Ohh'. "I hope you guys don't mind." He said.
"Of course not." Jungkook and Taehyung said in unison. Jimin led you all towards the entrance of the place. The room was jungle-themed- something like Jumanji.
You were required to split into groups and meet at the end.
"Jimin hyung, Hyejin, and I can take this route." Jungkook said and left with them, you noticed him giving you a wink before he left you alone with Taehyung.
"Um, let's go." Taehyung said and walked towards the opposite path.
"I think we should find an elephant figurine." You said and he nodded. Once it was found, you put it on the small frame and the other door opened.
"This time it looks like we need to find a code." Taehyung said with a smile, and you both started looking. This room took longer than the last, and soon Taehyung sat on the floor and sighed.
"We'll never find it, should we ask for a hint?"
"What's that under you?" You asked and he looked below him, "Wait, It's the code!"
You entered the code and made it into the other room. It said it needed five people, so you both decided to wait for the others to arrive.
"Y/n, thank you for everything." He said after a few moments of silence.
"That's random," You said, "But you're welcome."
"I found a new place." He lowered his gaze, "I'll move out by next week."
