"and... done! I'm finally fucking done...!" I let out a long exhale afterwards, leaning back in my chair once more

I just finished editing a Dream SMP stream I did on my twitch. After many days editing it, I was able to complete it to the best of my abilities. The video itself was an okay length, about 13 minutes of the good stuff that happen during my first day on the SMP.

...Though I'm not sure if I wanted to upload it or not.... Maybe, but then again- I'm not really sure.

"Niceee....! I'm proud of you, Y/N!" Luca says

"Wow, you finally talk... Amazing..." Aiden murmurs

Oh- yeah. I forgot. I was also in a call with these idiots. Lol.

"Why do you sound tired, dumb fuck?" I asked Aiden

"Dumb fuck? Who are you calling a dumb fuck?? You're the one who's a dumb fuck!"

"Aight- sure. Go with that one chief." I say, taking a sip of my iced coffee

"Anyways, can you show me the video?? I only started watching your streams, so I wasn't there for the first few..." Luca says

"Yeah, yeah.. sure. But that's only when the rendering is done. It says it will finish rendering in about... ten minutes" I reply, grabbing my paper refill and pen, ready to start writing the outline of the next VOD editing

"Yesss!! I'm so excited..!" Luca cheered "---anyway... Is this your first time editing?"

"Yeah... it is..." I answered quietly

"Did you only start doing it because of your new...friends?" Aiden questions "You said before that editing didn't interest you in the slightest"

"Uhh--- I mean... haha, I guess they were a bit of an influence...?" I mumbled

What am I saying, of course they were a big influence. Though, I only really got the push when I realized the amount of VOD's I'll be losing.

And-- I'm not sure if It'd be okay to call them my friends... I haven't spoken to any of them on a personal level.... we're only just beneficial content creators to eachother... or- at least that's how I see it in my eyes...

"Well, good on you for picking up new hobbies! Really, I'm actually excited to watch it! We're the first people you'll be showing, right?" Luca asks

"Yep. Pretty much. Feel lucky~" I say in a joking tone, grinning widely

Though, I am slightly nervous about this... All since this is my first time editing. So, I don't really know if what I did was even at a good standard. I know it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't to an expectation I'd like it do be.

"Ohhh...! Also, on youtube, Y/N-- I got recommended a clips video of you and Tommy!" Luca randomly brings up

"wait- really? That's actually a thing?" I say, a little surprised

"Yeahhh! I honestly found it pretty cute! You two talk so casually with each other-- and not to mention the things he said about you when you weren't in calls..." Luca trailed off

"What did he say?" I asked, curious

I haven't watched any of his streams lately, so I'm pretty in the dark about any details...

"Does it really matter what he said?" Aiden spoke up

"IT DOES MATTER WHAT HE SAID!! Aiden! Don't you get it?, Tommy is a big content creator saying nice things about our best friend! That doesn't happen everyday!" Luca stated

"He said nice things about me?" I questioned

"Mmmhhnmm!!" Luca let out a joyful hum "Hold on- hold on! Lemme fine it and send it to you real quick"

"But really, I'm surprised you didn't see this sooner. You watch a lot of Dream SMP stuff, so I would've thought you to see at least one or two videos like that" Luca murmured

"There's more..??" I exclaimed

"Of course there's more!" Luca says "There's ones of you and Tommy arguing, you and Tommy being nice to each other, you and Tommy flirting--"

"We've never flirted with each other!" I exclaimed, my face beginning to get warmer

"The clips say otherwise.." Aiden muttered, letting out a yawn

"Those were most likely taken out of context" I state, taking another sip of my ice coffee to cool myself down "I've never said or done anything flirtatious to Tommy... That'd be weird"

"But you two have grown quite close lately, right? I mean- you two message every now and then from what I've seen" Luca mentions

"Those are just because we're discussing lore..." I said "The only time we've hung out together outside of the SMP was when I was recording a bedwars video with him, Philza, Wilbur, Tubbo and Technoblade."

"Wait- you recorded with them???" Luca shouted a little too loud for my phones sake

"Uhh- remember those messages Tommy sent me during school? Yeah- that's when he asked me." I explain "The recording went pretty well... We were put into two different teams. Me, Tommy and Wilbur versing the others. I managed to make them laugh decently well..."

"Did you win?" Luca asked curiously

"We won the first round, lost the second and tied on the third" I said

"I'm sooo jealous!! You get to hang out with all these cute guys..." Luca says with a dramatic sigh

"Simp" Aiden commented

"Incel" Luca retorted

I ended up laughing a little at their little argument.

Aiden and Luca were total opposites, and yet- they were such good friends. Tied to the hip if you will---

"Hmm?"

The noise from my phone, and the sounds were familiar to me.

I had custom sounds for all notifications that come from the small box. All so that I'm aware of what I get and what to avoid.

This notification sound was from discord.

I grabbed my phone and turned off my camera. Even though it faced the roof the entire time I was editing, I need to turn it off so I'm able to read the messages without looking like a weirdo to Luca and Aiden.

"Why did you turn off your camera, Y/N?" Luca asks

"I'm getting discord messages. Hold up" I replied

I tapped onto discord and saw a few new messages from Tommy.

"Oh wow" I muttered out

"Hmm? What? Who is it?" Luca asks

"Uhhh.... Just some dude..." Is all I said, smirking a little at the small reference. All before reading the messages sent.

Today at 3:15pm

started a call ---

"Uhhmmm... Hey, I think I need to get going now" I tell my friends

"Why so sudden?" Luca asks

"Isn't it obvious? That guy-- Tommy? He needs her right now. Probably he's the one who sent her a dm" Aiden assumed

"Wait- really??" Luca says, trying to act so oblivious and shocked

"Uhh.. yeah. Sorry, is that okay with you two?" I asked, a little guilty

Aiden grumbles a bit, I couldn't piece together what Aiden said.

"I'm alright with that!--- but make sure you send the video to me afterwards!--- orr..... I can come over right now to watch it!" Luca says

"I'll send it to you afterwards, okay?" I laughed

"Bet" Luca chuckled

"Alrighty then! I'll talk to you both later then. Ciao!"

The other two said their goodbyes and I left the call.

I then soon went over onto discord on my PC and proceeded to join the call Tommy was sitting in for the past minute.

Once seeing I joined, he finally spoke.

"Took you long enough!!" He said in more of a joking tone rather than a rude one

"Yeah, yeah... sorry, I was talking with some of my friends... What did you need?" I questioned, leaning closer to my screen out of interest

"Oh yeah-- uhh..." Tommy began to say "Well- I wanted to discuss some of the future lore stuff with you"

He wanted to talk to me... about lore?

"...Why not talk about it over dm's like we usually do?" I questioned, more confused than anything

Usually when we talk about lore we'd just message back and forward to each other. And- he'd usually talk about it later at night, not early in the afternoon.

"My hands have been getting swore the more I talk to you in dm's. Seriously-- why the fuck do you always reply so fast when I haven't even explained something fully??" Tommy complained

"Oh-- sorry about that..." I muttered

"Nahh,.. It's fine. At least this way I can get my point across to you without you interrupting me every sentence." Tommy said "....You don't really talk as you text"

I tilted my head a little.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"All I'm saying is that you seem..--- you seem a little more.... maybe just a little more aggro while you text and you seem more quieter when it comes to voice calls" Tommy points out

"Aggro? Did you really call me aggro?" I let out a small chuckle

"Am I wrong??" Tommy laughed "You always just seem so angry for no reason. Half the time you take the piss out of how I explain things. Hell- you even take the piss out of my grammar whenever I typed something"

"I'm just a little picky when it comes to grammar... But it can be funny at times" I say "Whenever you do something grammatically wrong, I always correct you because it's funny to see you rage so much...haha..!"

"Yeah- haha. very funny indeed..." Tommy grumbled "anyway- about the future lore..."

"Mhhmm...?"

We then began to discuss future lore. Though, that conversation only lasted for at least ten minutes.

Soon enough, we moved on from that because Tommy was the one to get off topic. He started to ask me questions... questions that- friends would ask... Like- if I played other games, what things I was interested in.... There were quite a lot, and I answered them to the best of my abilities. And in return, I was able to ask him questions about himself.

We ended up staying in call with each other for a long time... Minutes slowly turned and became hours... and soon enough... It was 9PM.

Wait- isn't that usually the time Tommy starts streaming?

"Uhh-- Tommy. Aren't you suppose to be streaming now?" I asked him "It's already 9"

"Huh- what?" He sounded really confused

It was silent in the call for a few moments, but then I heard a loud scream from Tommy's end.

"IT'S ALREADY TIME??? WHAT THE FUCK!?!!"

I couldn't help but laugh at his sudden outburst. I couldn't help it, it was honestly too funny.

I even heard his mother again in the background, telling him to quiet down and him apologising as he usually does.

"Uhh-- Gotta go Y/N! Nice talking to you-- I guess? BYEEEE----"

And... he left that call.

It took me a while to leave the call, all because I was just laughing my ass off at his reaction. But once I did leave, I had the most goofiest smile on my face.

Fuck it. I platonically love this boy.... haha!!
