《Oh Captain My Captain! (Haikyuu)》Tsukki final
Advertisement
Life had changed a lot over the last year, you had now graduated while Tsukki was currently in his third year. Ukai had brought you on as his assistant coach and your days were filled with streaming, afternoons were spent in practice, and your evenings were typically spent with Tsukki even though he normally just studied while you sat beside him. He was stressed with it being his final year and knowing he needed to score high for his future, so his no nonsense personality was at an all time high. Overall your relationship was great but you did have little fights when he was getting too focused on school and would snap at distractions, he was usually quick to catch himself and apologize though.
Today was one of those days you hadn't been feeling well the last few days and you just wanted his attention which was where the argument began. You moved his book off the small desk and sat down in its place, grabbing the sides of his face you made him meet your eyes.
"Love me!" you whined.
"I do, now get down I need to study" he said trying to pull you from the desk.
"But I don't feel good, wont you just hold me?" you pleaded.
"Not right now, now move" he said dismissing you. For some reason his words hit harsher than normal and you started to cry which quickly made his anger disappear. "What's wrong?" he asked now slightly panicked. "I didn't know you were really sick, I'm sorry baby come here" he pulled you from the desk down into his lap and held you close to his body.
"Somethings wrong....." you sniffled into his shoulder.
"Do we need to go to the Hospital?" he asked, his voice was much kinder than before and he gently stroked your back as he spoke.
"No, just lay down with me please?" you asked wiping the tears onto his shoulder.
"Of course" he stood to his feet and carried you over to his bed, he laid you down and grabbed some extra blankets and a trash can to put beside the bed incase you got sick. He crawled onto the bed behind you and pulled you close, you could hear his heartbeat pounding hard but it was so rhythmic that you began to feel sleepy.
"Can you tell me what's wrong Shortcake?" he asked but his voice sounded fuzzy as sleep pulled you into its grasp.
When you woke up the light was rather bright and there was an odd beeping sound that didn't sound familiar. You tried to shield your eyes and open them but the light was giving you a screaming headache.
"Kei turn your alarm off please?" you asked but your voice was a little scratchy.
"Y/N!" Tsukki nearly yelled from beside you, he jumped to his feet and grabbed your hand in his. You tried to focus your eyes on his but it took a minute to gather yourself. His face was a mix of exhaustion, excitement and shock. You took a second to glance around the room and realized that you were in a hospital room with no recollection of how you got there.
"What's going on?" you asked sitting up.
"Damnit y/n take it easy and stay down" he scolded gently pushing your shoulder until your back was flay against the bed. "You're in the hospital" he explained flatly.
"How did I get here?" you asked.
"You don't remember?" he asked and you shook your head no. "Well you were at my house and said you didn't feel well so we laid down but at one point I woke up and your body was really hot and clammy so I knew something was wrong. I got my mom and we brought you here, they ran a lot of tests on you and came to the conclusion that you have a pretty severe intestinal infection." He explained.

"Ew gross! Guess that explains why I wasn't feeling so good then, was there anything else?" you asked feeling like he was holding something back.
"Well they said there was one other thing" he started but you could see he was biting the inside of his lip like he was nervous.
"Is it bad?" you asked now feeling really scared.
"Not exactly but having to hear the news with my mom right here was scary and she is pretty upset about it" he wouldn't look you in the eyes as he spoke.
"Spit it out Kei you're scaring me" you snapped lightly feeling anxious.
"Well they had a million questions for me and I had to be honest because I didn't know what was wrong with you! Before they could do any scans on you they asked if you might be pregnant and I wasn't sure, so then they asked me when the last time your period was and when the last time we had sex was. What's worse is I had to answer all of this in front of my mom and I'm surprised she didn't remove me from existence right then and there. So based on my answers they chose to go ahead and test it and....... Your pregnant" he said the last part as almost a whisper.
"Do what?" you asked swearing you had heard him wrong.
"Listen the first time!" he snapped. "I said your pregnant" he huffed.
"Hahahahahahaha there is no freaking way! Stop lying, you really had me there for a minute!" you laughed. When you looked at his face and he wasn't laughing your heart stopped for a second. "Wait are you serious?" you asked.
"Yes idiot! Why would I joke about that?" he nearly yelled.
"TSUKISHIMA KEI! Do not raise your voice at her young man, she is carrying your baby and my future grandbaby, I will not stand for it!" Tsukki's mom said as she stormed into the room at the sound of his angry voice, he rolled his eyes and looked away as she came up beside you.
"How are you my dear? You really had us scared" she said walking up beside you and moving the hair out of your face.
"I'm feeling better for sure, I umm....... I hope your not upset about the baby" you said slightly sitting up and looking her in the face.
"I was really upset at first, I think you are both much too young for this much responsibility and I really wanted you guys to enjoy being young. That being said though I'm very excited and I know you too will figure it out and be amazing parents, and of course I'll be here every step of the way if you need me" she said sweetly looking between you and Tsukki.
"So how far along am I?" you asked.
"The Dr said around six weeks, she also said everything looks good" Tsukki said pushing his glasses up onto his nose. You couldn't help but smile because even though he had acted so upset at you, you knew he was probably already nose deep in research about pregnancy so that he could help you.
"I'm growing a mini Kei huh?" you said looking down at your stomach. "How cute!" you said gently resting your palm on your soon to be bump.
*Time jump*
It had been a few months since you had gotten the news about the baby and life was as normal as it could be. Tsukki was more careful with you and put more effort into being with you even if it just meant having you sit in his lap while he did homework. The team luckily hadn't noticed anything but you were careful to wear loose clothes or oversized hoodies, they questioned it for awhile but eventually just thought you changed your style.

Today practice was in preparation for an upcoming match and you were helping coach as usual when your stomach started feeling like it was doing flips. You tried to ignore it at first until the feeling didn't go away and when a somewhat sharp pain hit your rib area you froze. Time stopped in that moment and you held your stomach, taking a deep breath a flood of fear made your hands shake.
"Princ- I mean L/N you okay?" Ukai asked noticing your frozen frame.
"Shortcake?! What's going on?" Tsukki said jogging over.
The group gathered around and you could hear them talking but your mind was only focused on the feeling going on beneath your hands. Ukai walked over and lifted your chin so that you would look at him but his voice sounded distant.
"L/N!" he yelled somewhat pulling you out of your own head. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"I think something is wrong with my baby" you said on the verge of tears. His face flinched slightly at hearing this news but he quickly gathered himself so that he could help you.
"Move your hand" he instructed. You did as he said and he lifted your hoodie slightly and rested his hand flat on your stomach.
"What the hell coach?!" Tsukki said starting to get jealous that he was touching you.
"Hush" Ukai said dismissing him. He moved his hand to a different spot and his eyes opened wide for a second before he smiled. "Princess nothing is wrong with your baby" he said with a light chuckle.
"But I can feel it, it doesn't normally feel like this" you said lightly panicked.
"Calm down and give me your hand" he instructed. You didn't understand why but placed your hand in his, he moved it so that it was on the same spot his was on before. "Your baby is moving, this is normal" he explained, his face lit up in a smile when your eyes opened wide at the next press of a foot.
"I didn't think this is what it would feel like, he really scared me there for a minute" you sighed feeling the anxiety leave your body.
"He?" Tsukki said surprised.
"Oh yea........ I know we wanted to wait to find out the sex but I couldn't help myself and I peeked at the chart at my last visit" you said scratching your neck awkwardly.
"CAN I FEEL THE BABY??" Hinata asked nearly bursting from your skin, you had seen how excited he got when you had said the word baby and he had been impatiently tapping his foot ever since.
"No, keep your shrimpy hands off of him" Tsukki said stepping closer to you to block him. "Can I touch him?" he whispered embarrassed.
"Of course let me see your hand" you said taking his hand and placing it against the spot you had felt it move the most. Nothing happened for a solid moment and you could tell that Tsukki was getting upset.
"You should talk to him, he reacted earlier when I was talking" you explained. Tsukki hesitated for a moment but then grabbed your hand and drug you away from the court. He made his way out and up the stairs to the changing room where he locked the door behind the two of you.
He took the bottom of your hoodie and pulled it up and off your body and then kneeled before you on the ground. He looked very nervous which only made you love him more so you had to tease him lightly.
"You kneeling before me like this reminds me of how we got in this mess in the first place" you joked.
"If I remember right it was you kneeling before me, now be quiet or I'll have you trade me places" he said with a raised eyebrow.
He took his hands and placed them on each side of your bump and with a deep breath he began to speak. He formally introduced himself as if he was meeting an elder and you had to bite your lip to keep from laughing. He then gave a few random facts about himself like you do as a new student but when that didn't work he just stared at your belly.
"I'm really excited to meet you, I wasn't sure about having kids but then I met your mom and my whole plan for life changed. I found myself imagining what my family could look like, how it would feel to sit and hold your mom as we watched you play in the yard, how I could teach you about dinosaurs and mom could teach you about movies and video games but not too much because you'll need to study." As he spoke he could feel his son move and stretch and his eyes teared up.
"There he is" you cooed putting your hands over Tsukki's. He sniffled and rested his head against your baby bump and you gently stroked his hair.
*Last time jump*
With Tsukki now graduated life changed quickly and drastically. As a family you all found a place closer to where Tsukki would be playing volleyball, he had gotten picked up by a professional team while also attending college. You luckily could live anywhere as long as there was internet and still be able to do your job.
Today you were actually going to watch a game between the Schweiden Adlers and the MSBY Black Jackals which had a few familiar faces. You were excited to go see everyone and this would also be the first game that your son Shio would get to see.
You all arrived to the arena and with a bit of coaxing you managed to get Tsukki to follow you to the side of the court so you could say hi before the game started. The camera men were all over setting up and you nearly tripped over a large wire. You braced yourself knowing this was about to hurt with your instinct being to hold Shio to you tightly to protect him but a large hand caught you and settled you back on your feet before anything happened.
"You always had a way of making an entrance, Honey" a familiar voice said, you looked up into Ushijima's handsome face and couldn't help but smile.
"And you always have a way of saving me" you teased.
"Are you okay?" Tsukki said coming up beside you and resting his hand on your hip. Ushijima gave him a nod but then focused his attention back on you and the small child in your hands.
"It was good to see you, congratulations by the way he is very handsome" he said gently patting Shio's head before walking away.
"Of course the first person we see is your ex" Tsukki said rolling his eyes.
"Tsukki!" another familiar voice called from behind him and you had to bite your lip to keep from laughing. With a heavy sigh he turned around revealing Kuroo who happily shook his hand before his eyes settles on you. His eyes softened when they met yours and his goofy half smile lit up his face for a moment.
"Who's the kid?" Bokuto asked walking up out of the blue stealing your attention.
"The kid is our son" Tsukki said pushing his glasses up.
"Wow! That's freaking awesome, he looks just like you Tsukki-dude!" Bo cheered, he poked at Shio's cheeks making him laugh.
"So what's the little guys name?" Kuroo said stepping in closer.
"Shio" you said trying to hide your smile.
"Your joking right?" Kuroo chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Tsukki said growing upset.
"Inside joke I guess, anyways I gotta go we should catch up soon, Chibi-chan" Kuroo said trying to hide his smile and make his exit. Bokuto got called by the coach to return the court so he quickly kissed your cheek before running away.
"Can we go before we run into anyone else that I don't care to see?" Tsukki groaned.
"But we've almost collected them all! I just need to see Daichi, Ukai and Oikawa, I'm sure they have to be around here somewhere" you teased.
He didn't say anything just glared down at you as he debated on what to do. He eventually gave up and just took your hand to lead you to your spots up in the stands. You sat down beside him and he wrapped his arm around you pulling you as close as the seats would allow. It was rather uncomfortable but you knew he was just feeling a little insecure at the moment which you found endearing. He really could be such an arrogant ass but he was really sensitive when it came to you.
"Kei" you said turning and looking up at him.
"What?" he said still scowling.
"I love you so much, more than anyone" you expressed, his face softened quickly at your words and then he felt ashamed for having been so jealous.
"I love you too shortcake" he kissed your forehead and eased his hold on you so you could both sit comfortably to watch the game.
Life with Tsukki ended up being amazing, he worked very hard towards his goals and was good to push you towards yours also. He ended up working at the museum where he got to tell everyone about Dino's and he loved every moment of it. Shio ended up being the only child that you had, and he was amazing, as smart as his father but personality wise he took after you.

The Werewolf Cheerleader
Being a cheerleader is easier than being a werewolf. Jessica Tumbleleague is a typical teenage girl who loves being a cheerleader at Moondale High. But after an encounter with a werewolf in the woods, Jessica discovers a frightening world she never thought is real. Dangerous magic, deadly fierce spirits, and other malevolent creatures. Now Jessica must fight the forces of darkness to protect her hometown while balancing her supernatural life with her high school life. But can she control the beast within herself? Note: This is a rewrite of the original with the same name. I decided to change the third-person style to first-person because I liked Jessica's voice better. She is funny and very strong. With the story only focusing on her, I can keep the mystery suspenseful and the reader can experience what Jessica is experiencing. It is a typical YA style, but it is fun to write as your main character. There are changes, but the first and second books will be similar to the third-person chapters. Let me know what you think and I hope you will enjoy this new version of the Werewolf Cheerleader. I will post the chapters every Friday in the afternoon. P.S, there is a Werewolf Cheerleader short story published in the Tales of Dungeons, All Hallows book. Titled The Werewolf Cheerleader: Castle and Ghouls. The short is also in first-person, which made me decide to change the book series into first-person. The link is below if you want to check it out. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B08MCS82R5

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
