I was on a walk with Olivia and I was walking backwards because Olivia said it will make your feet hurt less. While I was walking backwards I bumped into someone so I turned around and saw this really tall guy next to this really short boy "my bad" I said "it's good" he said back then we continue walking but Olivia was freaking out "dude what's up" I asked "THAT WAS BENNY" "who that" "it's this guy who is so cute and he plays baseball and he's really good at it"

Then I saw a guy from the group of boys "who's that" I asked "that's Jordan, Jordan Phillips" "oh he looks kinda cute" "WHAT" it felt like she didn't like that comment so I said "just playin just playin"
"Oh" she said in relief.
We were walking on the same sidewalk as him then he stopped in front of us
"What do you want Philips?" Olivia said "I just want to say sorry for you, you know for all those ants that crawled up on you"
"I KNOW YOU DID IT" Olivia screamed. "Yes I did and I just want to apologize is to hard to do that?" "Yeah whatever" "who's this pretty lady" 'what' "she is none of your-" "I'm Sara" I interrupted. "Well Sara want to go get lunch with me?" "Um can Olivia come too or...?" "Sure she can come" "nice". we walked to this restaurant and we sat at a booth he sat in front of me and Olivia sat next to me. I only had 15 dollars so I didn't want anything to expensive. After lunch he gave me his snap and me and Olivia went to my house.

I put some perfume on and headed slowly down stairs I told mom I would be back in a little. I walked to me porch and saw him. "Oh I have something for you" he said. Then he pulled out a little case and opened it
It's was a ying yang necklace. He grabbed one and went behind me and put it on for me. "I love it...but why?" I asked "someone told me you liked me" he said "was it Olivia?!" I asked "nope someone named Hannah" he told me. God I'm gonna scream at her when I get back inside. But I think he likes me. His phone buzzed "oh I gotta go" then he kissed me on the cheek. Yep he likes me "bye" he said walking away "um bye" I said in a low tone. Oh. My. Gosh. I walked inside and couldn't stop smiling. My phone buzzed. It was Olivia.

Sure I texted back I walked to her place and I couldn't stop thinking about him "what are you smiling about" she said with a smirk "ok well don't get mad but..." her smirk faded away "but I think me and Phillips are dating" I said nervously "what..." she said " he apologized to you please calm down" "no he treated me like garbage and you are dating him? Have you ever thought that I don't like him?" She said. "Please just give him a chance...for me" I plead "fine but only one chance" she said calming down a little.

A very powerful demoness by the nickname Amethyst has been causing chaos and destruction for over 1000 years, except over the last couple hundred years, she's become rather bored and hasn't really done much out in the world. Until one day, encouraged by a friend, she heads out once again to wreak havoc on the world only to run across a half-elf half devil child. Not having been in the situation before, she decides to take the child and raise it herself. Diguising herself as a devil as well, Amethyst goes to a nearby human city with the child to raise it in a more "suitable" environment. Follow along Amethyst and her "adopted" child as they adapt to changing fantasy world with advancing technology, a diverse range of beings like elves and arachne, and the destructive power of monsters and other demons. And of course, they can't just be left to their own devices cause the world is set to turn into an intolerable hellscape if no one does anything about it. Not even Amethyst wants that to happen. *Author's note: this story is a work in progress meaning chapters may get deleted, editing will happen, and chapter releases will be irregular as I'm doing this just for fun. The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that.
