《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 11}~

I sat in my last class of the day, next to Tubbo.
"Hey Tubbo?" I whispered.
"Yeah?" He whispered back.
"Thanks for helping me out during lunch. It was really kind of you." I smiled.
He blushed lightly, "Ofcourse. I just hope you and Tommy can form a bond."
It was good that I told Tubbo I liked Tommy.
I mean- I didn't tell him straight up, but he got the hints. Plus- he even helped convince Tommy hang out with me after school today.
That's why I was thanking him, cause he was rooting for me and Tommy!
I waved bye to Tubbo and made my way out to the field for practice. I didn't see Tommy anywhere, so I figured he was on his way.
I went to change for practice and then I went back out to see if Tommy was here. There he was walking onto the stands. I walked over to him.
He saw me and waved. He waved. He waved at me. I blushed brightly and waved back.
He waved at me....
I walked up the stands to see him, "Hello Tommy."
"Hi." He said and pulled out his phone.
I cleared my throat, "Uhm....may I have a hug?"
He raised an eyebrow, "Why?"
"Uh- cause I want a hug?" I said nervously.
He sighed and stood up. He pocketed his phone and opened his arms. I hugged him tightly and he giggled.
When we pulled away I smiled, "You gonna watch me practice?"
He sat back down, "Not really. I'm just waiting for you."
I frowned, "Oh....okay."
He sighed, "Fine. I'll watch."
I smiled, "Thankyou!"
"Mhmm." He hummed annoyed.
I sat down beside him, "I have a minute, if you want to chat."
He looked at me like I was crazy, "What would we talk about?"
"Mystery girl?" I asked.
He chuckled, "No."
I groaned, "Tommy!"
"Leave me alone and go practice." He said pulling his phone out.
I sighed and stood up. He laughed at something on his phone and I got jealous.
"Tommy?" I asked.
"What now?" He asked still laughing.
I smiled, "Your laugh is adorable."
He blushed and stopped his laughing, "Stop being wierd."

"I wish I could make you laugh and smile- instead of frown and groan." I frowned.
He sighed, "Stop being sappy. Go on and I'll watch you practice."
"You don't ha-"
"Ranboo." He cut me off. I looked at him and he sighed into a small smile, "I want to."
"Kay." I smiled back at him and blushed brighlty.
I leaned in to hug him, but he put his hand to my chest, "Uhm. No."
I awkwardly laughed, "My bad....uhm- later."
He nodded. I walked down off the stands and waved to him. He waved back and then I went over to my coach and teammates.
"Is that Tommy?" My friend Purpled asked.
I chuckled, "Yeah, project partner...so y'know."
He nodded, "That makes more sense."
Practice ended and I'd just got out of the locker room. I went over to Tommy who was on his phone. I walked up the stands and was gonna hug him.
"Ew. No. Your sweaty." He said before I could even open my arms.
I frowned, "You ready to go?"
He stood up, pocketed his phone and grabbed his backpack, "Mhmm."
I put out my hand, "Please?"
He blushed lightly and held my hand, "I hate you."
I chuckled and we walked down of the stands. We went over to the bus stop and I hid out hands behind my back.
The bus arrived and we got on. Tommy let go of my hand, "I'm gonna sit in the back."
"I'll sit with you." I said grabbing his hand again.
He rolled his eyes and went to sit down. I sat beside him still holding his hand. Some of my teammates noticed us sitting close together, but they didn't seem to care...and neither did I.
Tommy began to doze off. I chuckled and poked his cheek.
"Hmm?" He hummed sleepily, eyes closed.
"Baby, you'll hurt your neck sleeping like that. Lean on me." I suggested scooting closer.
He yawned and leaned his head onto me, "Mkay."
My heart beat fast. I hugged his waist and leaned my head on his, "Tired?"
"Mhmm." He hummed.
I sighed, Thank god I brought extra clothes and changed- and remembered deodorant.

I kissed his head, "I'll wake you up when we get there."
I got no reply. He was already asleep. I smiled to myself, This looks just like we're dating.
I kissed the top of Tommy's head, "Baby? Wake up."
He groaned and rubbed his eyes. I picked up our bags and grabbed his hand, "C'mon."
Half asleep he held my hand and I led him off the bus. I waved to Darryl who couldn't help, but smile at me and Tommy.
As we walked, Tommy leaned half his body weight on me. And the backpacks were heavy. I sighed, "Baby? Can you hold your backpack?"
He groaned and I sighed again, "Please baby."
He grabbed his backpack and stopped leaning on me. He let go of my hand and walked up straight, eyes opened.
"Don't call me 'baby'." He grumbled.
I blushed, "Sorry! You were just so cute asleep- and- I- uh- I just got carried away, uhm- m- my bad."
He rolled his eyes, "Right. Well you were saying it pretty casually."
"I don't mean to make you uncomfortable." I said and reached for his hand.
He pulled it away, "Yeah....whatever. and where's your house?"
I took a deep breath, "Tommy."
"What?" He asked annoyed.
"Remeber what I told you?" I asked.
"Mhmm, you said I'm adorable and I looked cute and you called me 'baby'." He yawned.
I blushed brighter, "No Tommy, I mean- about my house and uh-....financial situation."
He looked around the neighborhoods we were in then looked at me confused, "You said you weren't rich...,but these houses look bigger than the ones in my own neighborhood."
"May I please hold your hand?" I asked.
He put out his hand and I laced our fingers, "This isn't my neighborhood."
He seemed dumbfounded, "Then why are we here?"
"I live on the other side of those tracks." I pointed to the train tracks up ahead.
He sharply inhaled, "Ranboo....I'm sorry. I- I just assumed...and I shouldn't have."
I smiled, "At least I got my apology."
He chuckled, "Yeah.....and I hope you know that this won't change how I see you."
He squeezed my hand and smiled at me. My heart skipped a beat, "Thankyou Tommy."
"No. Thankyou for letting me in....even though I sorta hate you." He frowned.
I sighed, "Oh c'mon. Still?"
We stopped walking. He wrapped his arms around my neck and I put mine around his waist. He giggled, "Your not bad."
I leaned in, "Can I kiss you?"
I leaned in further then he stopped me, "A- Actually uh- no....uhm-...sorry."
I blushed embarrassed, "Oh! Sorry I thought- uh- nevermind."
I let go of him and he let go of me. We laced fingers and began to walk again. Then he said, "I'm sorry I can't give you what you really want. But....I'm willing to try and be your friend."
I smiled, "So are we friends?"
He awkwardly laughed, "No....,but I said I'm willing to try."
"Good.....uh- but what do you mean by giving me what I really want?" I asked confused.
He cleared his throat, "You want to date me. You want a full on relationship. Strings, labels, love, and touch....,but I don't like you like that. And I only just stopped hating you. Which is why I'm sorry."
I kissed his hand, "I'm grateful for just being able to know you."
"Ranboo." He said.
"Yes?" I asked.
He gently pulled away his hand, "I don't want to lead you on. And....you need to stop touching me so frequently."
I blushed, "Okay."
I put my hands in my pockets, I want you.
But, for some reason....you won't let me have you.
And your right....
I want the relationship.....I want you to be my boyfriend.
"I'm sorry." Tommy muttered.
"Don't apologize. Its okay to not feel the same way." I said with a fake smile.
I was so set on winning him over....
But now I'm just scared to push him away.
We crossed the train tracks and into my neighborhood. We continued walking until we arrived at my place.
Tommy smiled, "I don't care about how big or small your house is....so don't worry about that."
I blushed and nodded, "Thanks Tommy."

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
