Ashlyn: This is the truth of the case!
Ashlyn: A few days before the murder, Chloe, Hanako, Sophie and I were in the Mastermind room when a dumbbell fell through the vent. My guess is that the culprit wanted to test if the dumbbell would fall down. At that time, Annan had left the culprit alone, giving them enough time to test the trap. They were probably hoping that the dumbbell would actually kill someone to spare them the trouble, but that didn't happen.
Ashlyn: After that, Annan met us in the Mastermind room explaining that she left the culprit alone. Worried, we went to find them, but realised that they were no longer asleep in the food court. We went to look for them and found them unconscious on the floor of the gym. We had thought that someone, specifically Hanako, had hit them on the head with the dumbbell, but really, they had hit themselves on the head to lure the suspicion away from them. They were taken to the clinic by Sumana and Annan, where they stayed there for the next few days. No one knew this was entirely part of their plan.
Ashlyn: On the night of the murder, the culprit, being close to Annan, was able to sneak half a bottle of cough syrup into their ramen. This caused Annan to become sick and have to go to the bathroom. The culprit took this chance to set everything up for the murder. They stole Annan's room key and entered the room. Since they already knew that the door was an automatically closing door, they used the sewing machine in the tailor shop to keep it open. They also used a string, probably also from the tailor shop, to tie the key on one end and to tape the other end to the back side of a poster and lower the string down the vent, making it come out the other end, in the Mastermind room. Then they taped the poster to the wall over the vent, with the string facing the vent opening. They prepared a weight as the murder weapon, which was much heavier than the one they hit themselves with, to ensure that this time, the victim would definitely be killed.

Ashlyn: They went back to the clinic first and waited for Annan to come back and realise her keys were missing. They probably pretended to asleep till then. When Annan came back and found that her keys were missing, she went to look for them. Around ten, she saw me and asked if I'd seen the keys, not having seen them, I told her to try back tracking her steps, and that probably what she did. Once she had left the clinic and was out of sight, the culprit quickly made it up to her room and waited for the signal to drop the weight. Eventually, Annan made it to the Mastermind room and found the key hanging from the vent. She began to untie it, which pulled the string and caused the poster covering the vent in Annan's room to bend inwards, becoming concave. This was the signal the culprit was waiting for.
Ashlyn: They quickly removed the poster and dropped the weight. They knew that it would be able to fall into the other room as they had run the test the other day. Luckily for them, their calculations were correct and Annan, who was standing directly under the vent to get her key, was hit on the head with the dumbbell, killing her instantly. But that wasn't the end of the plan. The culprit went to the crime scene and placed a portable fan next to the body and turned it on, blowing the smell of the body upstairs quicker, making sure that we would discover the body quickly so the motive would be effective. This is why we smelled something so funny I'm the morning. After that, they headed back to the clinic, where they would sleep until the next day, when it was time for them to play innocent.

Ashlyn: The culprit almost tricked us all into thinking that they were innocent, talked about avenging your best friend. You thought you could get away, but we've found out your plan, and now you'll get karma for planning the death of your best friend. Isn't that right, Hannan, the ultimate gymnast!?

Sumana: I don't get it... Why did you have to do this we already made the promise this served you no use...
Monokuma: You all have a screen in front of you! Use it to make your selection!
Hannan: I have my reasons. I'll explain later.
Monokuma: Who will be chosen as the blackened? Will you make the right choice, or the dreadfully wrong one?

Monokuma: Congratulations on voting correctly for the second time!
Sumana: Hannan.
Everyone turned to face the murderer, who looked neither happy nor sad. For someone who was about to be executed, she had quite a neutral expression.
Hannan: I think it's time for me to explain ya?
