《Danganronpa ocem》Chapter 4 Part 4

At the arcade, Sumana was sitting on the gift shop floor, opened prizes littered around her.
Sumana: Hey.
Hanako: You're stealing from the gift shop?
Sumana: What's gonna happen? Are the police gonna come? I wish they did.
Chloe: Anyway, we came here to play some arcade games.
Sumana: Isn't it a bit dangerous for everyone to gather? Something could happen.
Yu Xuan: I mean it could be nice too.
Sumana: I guess. Well I've been playing the games here for the past hour or so, would anyone like to compete against me at air hockey?
Hanako: Can I?
We headed over to the air hockey table and stood at the sides while Sumana and Hanako stood at the ends.
Sumana pulled out a disc from the slot in the table.
Sumana: I'll start. The first to make it to three goals wins the game.
Hanako: Okay.
Sumana sent the disc off, and for a while it went back and forth, before the disc slid into the gap on Hanako's side of the table.
Hanako: Fuck. I'll start now.
Hanako slid the disc across again, and this time, it slid into Hanako's again.
Sumana: I'm a legend.
Rachel: I mean Sumana has a robotic arm...
Sumana: That's kind of robophobic.
Rachel: I mean it does give you some power over us.
Chloe: What the hell is robophobic?
Sumana: Whatever, can we just continue with air hockey.
Hanako: Alright, but you'll definitely win.
Sumana: We'll see.
Once again, Hanako sent the disc off, and Sumana's robotic arm managed to hit it every time. Until a few hits later, when the disc didn't glide across the table, but instead flew off of it and hit Hanako square on the forehead.
Hanako: OW-
Ashlyn: Hanako! Are you okay?

Hanako: Yea- I think-
But there was a visible bruise in the middle of Hanako's forehead.
Sumana: HANAKO- I'm so sorry I- I didn't know why- I don't know how I- I didn't mean to-
Hanako: It's fine it's fine... Nothing's wrong.
Chloe: Maybe you should go back to your room and rest a bit... I'll follow you.
Hanako: Yea, I'd like that.
Chloe: Okay... Maybe we should get you some medication from the clinic or pharmacy at the same time...
Chloe followed Hanako back up to her room.
Sophie: I knew something like this would happen!
Sumana: I'm so sorry guys- I don't know how I did that my arm just-
Yu Xuan: Were you trying to kill Hanako?
Sumana: What? No! Why would I try to kill her-
Yu Xuan: I mean you could be the traitor. Maybe you were trying to knock her out so she would be considered asleep and she would go to the dream world.
Sumana: No no- Please I'm not the traitor-
Yu Xuan: Maybe you agreed to work with Monokuma that day you came back from wherever you went.
Sumana: I was unconscious up to the point where I was back in my room! I couldn't have been me!
Randi: Then who is it?
Sumana: I'm not the traitor!
Randi: Then who else can it be?
Sumana: You're just going to make me accuse someone so you can say that I'm trying to push the blame!
Ashton: Well you're still looking really really suspicious!
Sumana: Why would I work with Monokuma anyway??? The traitor is working with Monokuma for personal gain??? What kind of gain would I want???
Sophie: Getting your friends back.
Sumana: Huh?
Sophie: Hannan, Annan, Miyoshi... Don't you want to see them again?

Sumana: Getting my- No. I wouldn't kill for that.
Sophie: Are you sure? You wouldn't want to see them again? You don't want to see Miyoshi again?
Sumana: Yes but-
Sophie: Eh, who am I kidding? She wouldn't want to see you anyway.
Sumana: What?
Sophie: You think Miyoshi wants to see you? After you tried to kill Hanako?
Sumana: I didn't try to- I didn't-
Sophie: But even if she doesn't wanna see you, you'll still kill everyone here to see her right?
Sumana: Why- I uh- No-
Sophie: Snap out of it, Sumana. You know what you'll do. You would kill to see them again, wouldn't you?
Sumana: No no no no no no no... You can't bring them back- No... They-
Sophie: What if I told you she's still alive?
Sumana's eyes widened.
Sumana: I saw her die- I saw them die- I SAW THEIR BODIES-
Sophie: Hahahahahahahhahaha... Your friends, your poor dead friends. What if they weren't really dead?
Randi: No, they're dead. Definitely dead.
Ashlyn: We saw them- We saw their dead bodies!
Ashton: Sophie, what're you talking about?
Sophie: Don't ask me, ask Sumana.
Sumana: ...
Sophie: So? What's it gonna be, traitor?
Sumana: I'm not the traitor.
Sophie: Then who is?
Sumana: Oh shut the FUCK up-
Without warning, Sumana's robotic arm raised up and clamped around Sophie's throat, beginning to squeeze, tighter and tighter...
Sumana: Wait- what's going on?
Sumana desperately tried to unclamp her arm or pull away, but it was like it had a mind of its own, and it was killing Sophie.
Sumana: No- STOP!
Ashlyn: SUMANA STOP-
Sumana was on the brink of tears, tugging on her arm even harder.
Sumana: I CAN'T! HELP ME-
Sophie: Sumana- let me- go-
Sophie passed out from lack of oxygen, and Sumana's arm was finally in her control again. Before Sophie fell onto the floor unconscious, Sumana pulled her up by the arm.
Sumana: Sophie- Sophie wake up I'm so sorry-
Sophie slowly woke up, coughing a little.
Sophie: What the-
Everyone began to rush up to Sophie, and Sumana let go of her arm in shock.
Rachel: Are you okay?
Ashton: Sumana you-
Sumana: I'm sorry I couldn't-
Sophie: You... Tried to kill me.
Sumana: I couldn't control it!
Sophie: Excuses, huh?
Sumana: No I-
Ashton: Sumana did you really try to kill her?
Sumana: No! I couldn't control my arm!
Sophie: Hahahahahahaha... I knew you were the traitor, you just needed a little push to reveal it.
Sumana: No! I'm sorry Sophie! It's not my fault!
Sophie: Maybe you're telling the truth, but you might be lying. I think we shouldn't risk it.
Randi: Whaddya mean?
Sophie: I say we tie her up.
Yu Xuan: What? We can't do that!
Rachel: What if she really didn't do anything wrong??
Sophie: Even if she didn't, her arm still did. We wouldn't want it going rogue like that again, would we?

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
