A pounding could be heard from inside the freezer, the sound of fist against metal.

Sumana: Hannan I'll die in here! Let me out NOW!

Hannan: That's the point.

Sumana: HANNAN PLEASE! I'M SCARED, THIS ISN'T FUNNY!

Hannan: Never said it was.

Sumana: LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT LET ME-

Hannan kicked the freezer.

Hannan: SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Silence.

Hannan: I'm not letting you out. You can freeze and die.

Sumana: What- What did I do to you...? You can't do this, we were best friends.

Hannan: We were never best friends. It was always you and Annan. But now it won't be, because you'll be dead, and like all the other times Annan's "best friends" have died, I'll be the one there to comfort her.

Sumana: Wait... Annan's other best friends...

Hannan: All died by mysterious circumstances, right? Can you figure it out?

Sumana: ....You killed them. They were all close to Annan and you killed them, didn't you?

Hannan: Can you tell what's about to happen to you now?

Sumana: No- Wait you can't do this just because I was friends with Annan! Please I'm actually going to die, you can't actually be a killer-

Hannan: Are you stupid? I've killed five people, don't think I'm too afraid to make you the sixth.

Hannan began to leave the kitchen, and Sumana panicked when she heard the footsteps.

Sumana: WAIT! WAIT DON'T LEAVE ME! PLEASE I'LL DO ANYTHING!

Hannan: Anything?

Sumana: ANYTHING PLEASE JUST- Just don't let me die...

The ultimate runner sobbed the freezer, pounding her hands on the door.

Sumana: PLEASE HANNAN! I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU WANT LET ME GO! MY FAMILY NEEDS ME!

Hannan: ...

Hannan: Okay.

Sumana: HANNAN NO- Wait, Really?

Hannan: On my conditions.

Sumana: Please, I'll do whatever you want just let me live in peace.

Hannan: Stay away from Annan. Don't go out with her, don't text her, don't even look at her. As far as you're concerned, she's no longer in your life, and she never was. Then I will let you go, understood?

Sumana: Yes! I can do that! I understand!

Hannan: Don't think I don't know how you're going to run to the police after this. There's something else I need you to do.

Sumana: What is it?

Hannan: Don't let anyone find out about my identity. If you tell on me, or if anyone magically finds out, you're going down with me, I don't care how. You got it?

Sumana: ...

Sumana: Even if the person finding out has nothing to do with me?

Hannan: Yup. It's up to you to make sure no one finds out. This secret is ours.

Sumana: ...

Sumana: Deal.

Hannan: If you fail, you die.

Sumana: I understand, but what's in it for me?

Hannan: Survival.

Sumana: If you don't give me something in return, I'm calling the police and having you arrested for life, I don't care whether I live or die.

Hannan: Fine. I'll never kill again as long as you stay away from Annan and keep this a secret.

Sumana: Okay then, it's settled. Now let me out!

The freezer door slid back open, and Sumana ran out, relieved to feel the warmth of the outside world once again.

The two girls glared at each other, as if daring the other to make a move and attack, but when they realised the deal was genuine, the tension in the room was broken.

Sumana: We won't break the deal. Pinky promise?

Hannan: Are you kidding me right now?

Sumana: Of course I am, it's foolproof.

Hannan: Haha, sure. The deal is done.

Hannan and Sumana linked pinky fingers and nodded.

Sumana: Glad to know I'm not your last victim.

Hannan: Yea, you're pretty cool when you aren't talking to Annan.

The screen cut to black and we were taken back to the real world, where Randi was about to be convicted of murder.

Ashlyn: Wait, but this doesn't show Randi's best friend dying. This is just Sumana and Hannan's deal, nothing we haven't figured out.

Chloe: Her name was K...

Randi: ...

Monokuma: Oh no no no! This isn't the whole thing idiots! This is what Sumana and Hannan wanted you all to believe, that Sumana was the hero who stopped all Hannan's killings! But there's much more to it.

Sophie: The reason K died, and the reason Randi killed Sumana, it's been hidden this whole time...

The TV turned back on, and the video continued showing Hannan and Sumana, right after their pinky promise.

But there was someone in the back, peeking out from behind the kitchen door.

Someone who heard the whole conversation.

???: Hannan...? Sumana?

The two whipped their heads around to see a short, thin figure standing by the door.

K: Hannan... You're- You're a killer!

Sumana eyes widened as she realised what this meant.

Sumana: Wait! It isn't what you think!

K: Don't think you can get away with this, Hannan, I'm calling the police!

Sumana: WAIT!

Hanna smiled.

Hannan: Sumana... Someone found out.

Sumana: K please you have to be quiet about this-

K: NO! Sumana come on we have to warn the others!

Hannan: You know what this means.

Sumana: NO- I CAN FIX THIS! PLEASE NOT AFTER ALL WE DECIDED ON!

Hannan pried a knife out of its holder and pointed it at Sumana's back, threatening to stab.

K: SUMANA! HANNAN DON'T! THAT'S IT I'M CALLING THE POLICE!

Sumana broke free of Hannan's grip.

Sumana: K I'LL DIE IF YOU DO PLEASE NO!

K: I'm sorry Sumana, but this is for the greater good.

The barista tried to call the police, but she didn't see Sumana lunge at her, pinning her to the ground and knocking her phone to the side. Hannan stepped on it, shattering the screen and rendering it unusable.

K: LET ME GO! I HAVE TO TELL THE OTHERS!

Sumana: NO!

K screamed as Sumana used her knee to press into her chest, compressing her sternum and making it painful to breathe. The two were locked in hand to hand combat, the weaker K unable to stop Sumana from elbowing her in the face and shattering her nose.

Sumana had lost all her senses. She mauled K, scratching, punching, pulling the poor girl, until she was a mess of blood and exposed bones.

And finally, when the barista was unable to move...

Her skull was crushed in with one swift step, brains stomped out as the blood sprayed all over Sumana's clothes. The face was no longer recognisable, and no longer was the body.

Sumana panted as she took in the sight before her. K didn't even look like a person anymore, more like a pile of flesh and bones.

Sumana: Hannan I did it! I killed her! I killed K! Now I don't have to die!

No response.

Sumana: ...Hannan?

But the serial killer was gone, and so was Annan.

Sumana: Wait...

Sumana's vision blurred in and out, as she registered what she had just done, and now what she had to clean up alone.

She stumbled back, collapsing onto the floor.

Sumana: No... What have I done? WHAT HAVE I DONE?

A scream shattered the empty cafe before Sumana fainted, her head crashing onto the cold kitchen tiles.

The TV screen switched to black, and we stared in horror at what had just played.

Sophie: Turns out Sumana isn't as clean as you all thought.
