《Falling in love with the Muslim girl ✔》Chapter 28: Who's going to save you now?

It was lunchbreak and boy was I hungry.. Amina and Malik just ditched me, I have no idea where they went. I just knew she was hiding something from me, but leaving me alone at lunch for Malik? I swear to God I will cook her alive if something is going on between those two without telling me.
I entered the canteen and was looking for an empty spot but I couldn't find one. Everybody was staring at me, maybe I should've also taken a few days off. I already had some girl yelling at me for 'wrongly accusing her friend for assault'. I didn't think it would be this bad, but people were actually looking at me like I was some piece of shit. I think that Nathan had alot of friends and they weren't happy that I was the reason he got expelled. Did they forget that he almost raped me? They would've treated me differently if I was another girl, someone who didn't wear a headscarf.
I was still looking around in the canteen, until I heard Britt calling my name.
"Safia, Come sit with us!" she shouted towards me. Every head at that table turned to face me as soon as she did that. But they weren't looking at me like I was some intruder, no they looked friendly. They genuinely smiled at me, not like all the other girls that looked at me in the hallways.
One guy, apparently a good friend of Nathan, practically threathened me earlier. His exact words were: 'You're lucky that Brody is also my friend, otherwise I would've finished what Nathan started'. It's just so disgusting to me that they can still support a guy that wanted to rape a girl. No way am I going to tell Brody about what that guy said. He would kill him and I don't want him to get in trouble again. I've done enough damage.
"Hey!" everybody greeted me at the table.
I greeted them back and Britt gave me a sign to sit across her.
"So how are you? Feeling better since the incident?" Britt asked.
"Yeah, how are you?" everybody asked in unison.

"I'm fine girls, thank you." I answered.
"I can't believe that I was with that douche."'one of the girls said rubbing my back.
"I'm just happy he's been expelled, but his friends aren't that happy though.." I said looking at my food.
"Did Natalie say something again?!", Britt asked.
"No no, it's just other students that give me weird looks or whisper some things, but it's fine."
"Dear, they're dead if somebody opens there mouth when we're around." One of the girls said.
"Thank you", I said and smiled at her.
Lunch was over and Amina finally texted me that she would be back in 10 minutes. I've decided to wait in front of the school for her. I said my goodbyes to the girls and left.
"Wait Safia, do you want to come over later? Mom invited you but I think that Brody wants to see you too."
"I can't, I'm grounded. My mother calls the housephone to check if I'm home." I responded, but to be honest, I wasn't in the mood anyway.. I had my monthly visit from mother nature and all I wanted to do was to lie in bed with a box of chocolate.
Britt understood and we said our goodbyes. I was happy with the 'new Britt', she's kind and compassionate. I have no idea why she made a huge change.
I was standing in front of the school waiting for the person that ditched me to arrive. I saw Malik's car stopping in front of the school a few minutes later. I saw Amina sitting next to him but they didn't see me standing there, waiting for them. I watched every move they made until I saw them making a move, a move I expected the least.
They kissed, they just freaking kissed.
Not just a kiss on the cheek no, a real kiss. She jumped out of the car and waved at Malik. I don't think he has class in the afternoon or he's just going to skip school again. Amina stopped as soon as she saw me standing there like I saw a ghost. She stopped and placed her hand on her mouth. She's so dead for not telling me that Malik and her were dating.

She started running towards me and the only thing I understood was "Safia, I can explain."
"You're so dead Amina dead I say."
"No listen, when you were hanging out with Brody alot we-"
"No, Amina. I was hanging out with Brody alot because you were always hanging out with Malik." I interrupted her.
"I'm sorry, please don't be mad." she said almost bursting out in tears.
"I'm not mad Amina, I'm happy that you guys found each other but you should've told me.." I said trying to sooth her.
"Ye-yeah I will.. What do you want to know?" she said grabbing my shoulder.
"Let's sit down." I said and she followed me to the bench in front of the school. We had a few minutes until our next class started so she needed to explain everything fast.
...
"So that's it really, we aren't really that long together.. We wanted to tell you when it was serious. We've been talking about the Nikkah and if we were sure about it, we would've told you." Amina said looking at me to see if I was hurt.
"It's fine really, I'm glad I know now. When are you going to do your Nikkah?" I asked.
"Soon, cause we don't want to have a haram relationship." She responded.
Too late for that I thought, but I'm not a hair better than her. I like a non-Muslim guy, that's a lot worse then her being with a Muslim guy. Even though nothing happened between me and Brody yet, I still have a feeling that something is going to change between us.
"Anyway, class starts in a bit. Let's go in.. And by the way, I'm going to kill Malik for not allowing you to tell me this."
"You have my blessing." Amina responded.
I threw my arm over her shoulder and we walked back into the building. I was happy there were no secrets between us anymore. And I was happy that I, somehow, had my best friend back. No boy is going to steal her from me, I'm not allowing that to happen.
*4.30pm*
"Want to go to my place? Watch some bad movies?" Amina asked. I actually was down for that, even though I felt bad that I wasn't down to go to Britt's place but I was to go to Amina's place. I just knew Amina for way longer, she knows what I need.
"Did you forget that I'm grounded?" I responded slightly annoyed.
"Righttt." Amina said bitting her lower lip.
"Is your mother picking you up?" I asked.
"Euhm no actually, Malik is picking me up." she responded shyly.
"Seriously? I wish I had a bae to pick me up." I fake cried overdramatically.
"You do", she smirked.
"Don't you dare-"
"Brody." she teased, running away from me.
"Bye!" she shouted and waved at me.
Malik and Amina were going 'out' to see a movie, so I decided to walk home. It isn't that far and the fresh air would do me some good.
After I was walking for 15 minutes, I already was pretty tired. I stopped to catch my breath but I felt that someone was following me so I started walking and right after that I started running. I was scared, what if it was Nathan to finish what he had started?
I was tired so a few streets further I stopped against a wall. I looked around and I didn't see anyone anymore. I probably lost him or her. Hamdulillah.
I wanted to continue my walk but someone grabbed my arm out of nowhere.
I looked behind me to find him, the guy that probably hates me. And by the look on his face, he was angry.. Grabbing my arm more tight.
"Let me go!" I shouted but he just laughed at my reaction.
"Well well, let's see who's going to save you know shall we.."
Ya Allah, please protect me..
~~~~~~~
Who do you think followed her?
The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)
Even if it means going back home. I would update here every week with half chapters on Saterday. Full chapters would be on Patreon every week on Friday. Before getting into this story. It will implied mpreg on small group of people in my story. It does not effect or drive the story. As the story continues there would be information through a character, but it would be short lived. Also there are many LGBTQ characters. If you don’t wish to see this then don’t read the story. Thank for understanding. The Casle art belongs to Tabor on Pixabay. I modify the cover that relates to my story.
