I try not to stand in the way as the guys bring in the drumset and other equipment.

"Watch it Stevie"

"Fuck that's heavy"

"Slash would you gimme a fuckin hand?"

Axl accidentally backs into me holding one end of a big black box.

"Oh, sorry love"

"That's okay"

I quickly jump out the way.

Slash now walks past me rolling a long chord around his arm. He nods.

I awkwardly nod back.

"You know what"

I have to yell because Steve is testing out the cymbals.

"I'm gonna go to the store. You guys want anything?"

Five voices go "booze!".

I chuckle and grab my denim jacket.

"I'l be right back".

I go down the flight of stairs and out the building to walk to the store.

There's a 24-hour shop nearby that doesn't check ID.

I buy some dinner for tonight and ofcourse a couple bottles for the band.

When I walk back I have to pass a construction-site. I always hate walking past there because the men stare at me.

"Oi, you in the jacket. Come over here!"

I speed up my pace and hear the men laughing as I reach our apartmentcomplex.

Fuck those entitled creeps.

I take the elevator up because of my heavy bags and get off on our floor.

I can hear the music in the hallway already and it gets louder as I open the door.

"Here I am, your Rocket Queen

I might be a little young

but honey I ain't naive"

Axl greets me with a wink when I walk in while the guys continue rocking.

I unloaded the groceries and hold up the bottles to the guys.

They cheer and then get back to playing.

I go to my room.

With the door closed I can still hear them but I kinda like their music.

I kick off my shoes and grab a couple magazines to flip through on my bed.

After some time I hear the music stop. They must be done practicing.

I jump when my door slowly opens, Slash slips in sideways and he closes it quickly.

"Hey"

"The fuck?"

Slash laughs.

"Just saying hi... what you upto?"

He walks over to my bed and leans on it with one knee.

I toss him the magazine and try not to be awkward but I'm a little taken aback that he's in my room all of the sudden.

He flips through the magazine and I study his face.

His eyes shoot back and forth scanning the articles and pictures. His lips are apart. Kinda cute.

I look away before getting caught and ask "how was practice?".

"Good"

he mumbles. Then he throws the magazine on my desk and looks at me. From my face to my, uh, clothes.

"What?"

I chuckle and look down.

"Nothing"

Slash smiles, showing his bright teeth.

"Can I?"

He gestures to the bed.

"Yeah...".
