I'm standing at the front of the crowd making eyecontact with Axl. He seems surprised to see me but has a big smile on his face.
Everyone dances around me.
Then Axl walks backwards a bit and nudges Slash with his elbow. Slash seems caught up in his own little world and it takes a while before Ax gets his attention. When he does, he points me out and I see that Slash sees me.
He nods his head in my direction. I can't really see any expression because his hat pushes his hair over his face. But he's already hunched over his guitar again.
Imani speaks the words that I'm thinking
"Little anticlimactic...".
I shake my head
"He's just like that...".
"If you say so"
Imani says as she starts dancing again.
They play 3 more songs. I get an excited wave from Steven. A wink from Izzy and a nod from Duff but Slash doesn't look up again.
I can't keep my eyes off him though...
Watching him play on stage. He's... so good. Near end of the show a spotlight shines on him. He plays an elaborate solo and his fingers move so effortlessly as he plays complex riffs.
It's beautiful.
He's beautiful.
Holy shit I want him to look at me... I want to kiss him.
I snap out of my daze when Axl talks into the mic. He thanks the audience and says goodnight. Then he throws down the mic and kneels before me to talk in my ear
"Come here, otherwise we'll lose you in the crowd".
He grabs ahold of my hand and quickly pulls me on stage right before the lights turn out.
I stumble, but it's Steven who catches me and leads me backstage with the others.
I'm disoriented in the dark and can only feel Steve and Axl's hands leading me through curtains and hallways.

Then I lose them as I hear unfamiliar voices call for the bandmembers.
Axl and Steven are now talking with a man in a suit and Duff and Izzy are talking to a woman with a clipboard.
I look around all confused until I see Slash. He's leaning on a wall with his arms crossed. He's no longer wearing his hat and he's looking at me with an amused smile.
I'm relieved and quickly walk towards him.
He opens his arms and hugs me...
That's a first.
I'm a little taken aback but it feels amazing to have his strong arms around me. He smells intoxicating even though he was just performing under hot stage-lighting.
We pull apart and he asks
"How was my performance?".

Another world? Some weird magic? Sure.
Writing my last novel, I realized that before you start, an ending should be there in your mind. So I wrote this as an atonement to my first novel. This is a typical story about someone who gets stranded in another world with OP powers. But this is not about just the MC, but also some people around him who directly/indirectly had their lives changed. I've written this as a collection of short stories where some may be bigger and more intense than the others. Note: I've finished writing all the chapters, but will upload on my own discretion.

The shops are full, the decorations glitter, trade and riches hanging low upon the tree for any common man or woman to simply reach up and grasp some of the riches for themselves. Freedom, peace, prosperity and joy, all created by the hard labor and love of the exalted bloodline of the Imperial Emperors. Where death comes late and only due to gluttony or old age... The justice is overseen by the Imperial City's ever vigilant guard force, of impeccable morals, generosity and they too handing out Imperial love in quantity. Is how it is above ground. Deep beneath the Imperial City is carved the Imperial Sewers out of the bedrock. Here, life is cheap and ruined dreams and violence intermingle among the filth and utter squalor. One of those living there, carving out a meagre existence by theft and murder, is a young girl... (Useful info time! The releases for this one will largely follow the same pattern as the main project Avine. One chapter every friday for foreseeable future). 09.29.18: Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be piecemeal, and progress made likely around holiday times.
