《Bestfriend as a Mate》S E V E N

Going to my locker, I rub my eyes hoping the bags under them go away. Ever since, Mr. NGA slept in my bed I couldn't really sleep without him. But I'm not going to him so I can sleep. I will go sleep deprived and starve to get my point across in that thick skull of his.
That if he truly respected me as a person, he should 100% honest with me. I've had enough of people sweet talking me to only leave in the end.
Opening it, I quickly grab my books for class as I notice a note.
Meet me at the Willow tree afterschool. -Nat
Raising a eyebrow, I put it in my pocket before heading off to another day of class.
All throughout my classes, I was thinking about Nathan could have wanted. Did he want to beat me up? Did he want to explain why he came to my house that day?
So many questions and absolutely no answers.
***
Its 3:05 and the bell had just rung. All day, I had been contemplating whether I should meet up with Nathan. Grabbing my things, I go to my locker puyting my extra books in there before I sighed. Shrugging on my bookbag, I go out to the courtyard where the only Willow tree sat bent over creating a great place to just hang out when its too hot.
I barely waited ten minutes before Nathan came outside smiling as he saw me at the tree. "I'm really glad you came Yoshi." Nathan said softly as he stood in front of me.
"As long as you don't hurt me." I say as I rry to hold up my gaurd.
"I won't. I just want to say I really am sorry for hurting you all these years since that day back in sixth grade. I can't say that I was a stupid kid that didn't know what I was losing.

Truth is, my dad was a major homophobe you know that. You knew my dad meant the world to me, his approval meant the world me. So when you came out, dad found out and said I couldn't hang out with you. But after awhile, I started looking at you differently. I noticed how when you smiled your eyes lit up, how when you laughed it sounded like a symphony, how whenever you were close to me I wanted to kiss you so bad.
I thought that dad would eventually find out I was gay to so, selfishly, I started to bully you so dad wouldn't hurt me.
I know its probably too late for us to go back to how we were. But I wamt you to know I came out yesterday to my dad and he kicked me out. But I haven't been this happy to just be myself." Nathan says his eyes getting watery as he smiled softly at me. Looking into his eyes, I see nothing but honesty as I smile lightly back at him.
"Thanks Nat for telling me the truth. I can't fully trust you or forgive now. But this is definitely a start." I say to him smiling until I remember something.
"Hey Nathan, you remember when you said I ratted you out to Alpha. What is that?" I ask as I see Nathan get nervous.
"I don't think I have permission to you." He said. "Nathan Taylor, you better tell me what it is?!" I yell at him crossing my arms.
"Okay, I'll tell you but please sit down." Nathan asks calmlyas we take a seat.
"There are werewolves in this world along with vampires, shifters, you know fantasy stuff." Nat says as I get excited.
"Unicorns?" I say.
"No. Anyway, a Alpha in the werewolf world is like a leader of a pack. There are various packs in this world but moving on. The Alpha is the leader beside him is the Luna the Alpha's mate. Then there is the beta, the gama, the warriors, and the common wolves.

The beta is there to rule in case something happens to the Alpha, or incase the Alpha puts him in charge for something temporary.
The gamma is more of a peace keeper. Make sure no serious arguments are taken to far.
However, not all werewolves are good. There are rogues. Werewolves that were exiled, banned, or left their own pack.
Now a werewolves mate is very important to he or she. To humans it's like finding the one. The mate of the werewolf is forever tied to them. They go through the mating process, biting the neck then having sex. But however you do have a choice. You can stay with you mate or you could reject them. Rejection can send a werewolf into a state of insanity or they can turn rogue. " Nathan explains and as he finished I get angry.
"....forever tied to them...mating process, biting the neck.."
"That bastard. That selfish bastard!" I scream in anger as hot tears comes to my eyes. "Yoshi, what's wrong?" Nathan asked as I paced angrily.
"Are we on a pack land? Who's the alpha?" I say not bothering to answer his question. "Yes, the War Claw pack. Augustus Hill is the alpha, why?" Nat asked standing up holding me still.
"That mangy mut of a bastard." I grit out growing sad and embarassed. "What happened Yoshi?" Nat asked firmly. Pushing away the collar of my shirt, I show him the dark colored bite mark that stood out on my pale complexion.
"Oh God, who did this to you?" He asked softly as his fingers skimmed it. "Your fucking alpha. I need to get away from this place, now. Where are you staying?" I ask Nat.
"A apartment actually I had money saved up and I bought a one bedroom apartment. You can come stay with me if you want for the night." Nat says softly to me. "Are you sure?" I ask looking up at him.
"Of course. Just be warned I'm not much of a cook." Nat chuckled lightly. "I'll cook. Thank you for being honest with me Nathan about everything." I say to him.
A blush rested on Nathan's cheeks as he cleared his throat before we walked to my house.
Arriving there, I went to my window and climbed through getting a old book bag. I packed essential items before heading out the window once again.
***
Arriving to Nathan's apartment, I was shocked. He had a spacious apartment that was kept neat and tidy. Putting down the food that we had picked up along the way.
"This is nice." I commented as Nat smiled in gratitude. "Do you want the bed, I can take the couch?" Nat offered but I shook my head.
"I'll take the couch." I said but Nat shook his head stopping me. "We c-could share...the bed. I won't try anything, promise." Nathan said as I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Okay, but know I sleep in a shirt and briefs." I point out as I eat my burger and fries. "Well, thats not as bad. I sleep in briefs." Nat says as he throw away our trash. Nodding, he leads the way to the room, as I bring my bag. Going into the bathroom, I change my clothes debating if I should really be here or not.
Calm down Yoshi. Its fine.
Leaving the bathroom, I see Nat already asleep in bed. Smiling lightly, I get into bed, turning to Nathan as he turned over to me.
Sleep that night, came easily.

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? The Nomad: A Starforged ttrpg Playthrough
Life in The Forge is rarely fun, least of all when you've got an AI that wants to turn you over to the authorities, a stolen ship full of creepy cult shit, and you've pissed off the only guy in the Devil's Helix who doesn't want you dead through sheer incompetence. Unfortunately for Ash, worst courier in the helix, that's his day-to-day. When he gets offered an opportunity to get back into this boss's good graces (and finally get something decent to eat), Ash jumps at the chance, even if that means getting tangled back up with figures he'd rather leave in the past. This is a solo play log of Shawn Tomkin's ttrpg Starforged, as such, even I don't know what's going to happen next! Enjoy the ride!
