Isa and I walk hand in hand through the park. Isa wanted to come and admire the fall leaves, and she had brought a small sketchbook and a pencil to draw the trees. We sat down on a bench, and Isa started her sketch.

It was October, and chilly enough that Isa was in an oversized sweater, leggings, and sneakers. I was dressed similarly, except I was in a sweatshirt instead.

I watched her work. She looked so cute. She was concentrated on her artwork, lifting her head up every once in a while to make sure she was getting the tree right. Her pencil moved across the page easily, bringing the tree to life.

I couldn't help but smile. This was who I fell in love with. This adorable, sweet, funny, strong, dangerous, kind, artistic, nerdy girl was my love. And she loved me back. If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said that I would never fall in love. But her I was, sitting in a secluded part of a park, next to my girlfriend.

I stuck my hand in my pocket and felt the small box, rubbing it nervously, wondering if I was really going through with this. Isa finished her sketch, and turned to me.

"That's really good!" I say, and it was true. The drawing was very realistic, capturing the leaves and branches and bark of the tree with incredible detail.

Isa blushed slightly. "Thanks!" She said grinning.

We sat there for a while, holding hands, Isa leaning her head on my shoulder. Finally we got up. I held her back from walking, and she turned to look at me, confused. I let go of her, and swallowed the small lump in my throat.

I got down on one knee, pulling out the box and opening it. "Isa Delinda," I start. "When I met you that night, I never thought I would end up falling in love with you. But here we are, almost six months later, and I can't think of anything I would rather have done.

I'm hopelessly in love with you. With the way you get shy and blush when I compliment you. How you're so strong, in so many ways. How you dance around to music while you're cleaning. The way your eyes light up when you're happy. In short, Isa, I love everything about you. And I want to love you for the rest of our lives. So, will you marry me? Please?" I finish, looking into Isa's eyes.

She's tearing up, but there's a smile on her face. "Tala Morana, I love you more than words can describe.If course I'll marry you!" She breaths. I stand up and pull out the small ring. It was a simple silver band, with a small glittering diamond. I gently grab Isa's hand and slip the ring on. It sparkles in the sunlight.

Isa takes me by surprise as she stand up on her tiptoes and grabs my collar, pulling me in for a kiss.

We pull apart, and I grab Isa's hand again as we stand there. "And don't worry about how we're going to get married as criminals. I have a fake identity, and no one knows who you are," I say, knowing Isa will ask at some point.

Isa's grin gets wider if possible. "Thanks so much Tala. I love you so much, and I'm so happy to be your wife," she whispers in my ear, pulling me in for another kiss.

"I love you too, fiancé," I mumble into the kiss.

A/N- So tomorrow is the first day of school. Now that school is starting, I won't be able to update every other day like I usually do. I think what's going to happen is that I'll update twice a week, once during the school week and once during the weekend. I'll let you guys know what's going on, though!
