For a while, I've known this, but I think it's time I announce it.
This is not the end of Hecate/Alex!
The queen will return!
In an undetermined period of time, the queen, the beast, and the black hand will wage a final war on the Black Hands.
For those of you who don't know, the beast is the main character in Change and the black hand is the main character in Disobey. It won't be necessary to read Change and Disobey, but highly recommended.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I don't know how far away the combined book is. (It'll be a while.)

Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded.
