《Make Me Love Again (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES)》AS I LAY DYING
Advertisement
After my walk in the woods I decided to go see Damon, he seemed in deep thought so I didn't interrupt. He takes a bottle of scotch from the cabinet and pours himself a drink. He opens the curtains, lets the sun shine upon his face, drinks some scotch and puts the glass down on a table. He returns to the window, taking off his ring and drops it on the floor. He opens his arms and I immediately rush to him knocking him out of the sunlight. I pin him to the floor as he began to heal from the burns.
"Get off of me." Damon screams at me whilst I am still pinning him to the floor.
"You're not doing this." I tell him, thinking of a plan.
"Just did. You don't know what happens when your bitten, I'll sum it up for you. You get ill, you hallucinate then you die. Bye, bye me." He says humorously, like it doesn't matter that he is dying.
I pick him up and drag him down to the cellar, I throw him in and close the door, ensuring it is locked.
"I don't care. You're not dying today, you have to stay alive for your brother. And do that I can prove to you that the world doesn't revolve around Elena. I have lots of work to do with you before you can die." I tell him with a smile as Damon then looks up at me.
"What's the plan, Superman?" He asks me sarcastically, like seriously does he find his death funny?
"I'm gonna find a way out of this, with saint Stefan." I tell him, as he looks at me stupidly.
"Oh, right. A miracle cure. Good luck with that one." He tells me.
"I got Bonnie looking for something, anything. Also believe it or not I have heard about a cure from the witches before, however only a few are aware of what it actually is." I inform him, he lets out a huff.
"Trying to be the hero, Aria. You don't even know me so why help? Just tell me good-bye, get it over with, I am sure it won't affect you that much." Damon says, before rolling onto his stomach coughing up blood on his hand, groaning in pain.
"Lie still. Conserve your strength. You're wrong by the way, I think you are a lot better than you let on. I want to be a friend to you Damon, so your death would bother me." I tell him before going to leave the cellar to find where Stefan has gone.
I have been following my brother round the last two days. I have been clearing up his little mess along the way. This is not what I want to be doing. I want to be reunited with my family and see Aria.
Klaus finally wakes up naked in the forest. He looks at the sun and smiles. I throw him some clothes. He turns his head, to see me
"You've been busy." I tell him and he smirks.
"That was amazing. How long has it been?" He asks happy that he has now broken his curse.
"Almost 2 days. Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf." I tell him as he gets dressed.
"I can change at will, then. It's good to know. I remember every single kill." He says smugly.
"Yes, I've been cleaning up your little mess along the way." I tell he annoyed of his actions over the last 2 days.

"Just like old times, brother." He says in a reminiscent tone.
"You've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain." I say having enough of Niklaus's attitude.
"That's right. Now, what was it again? Oh, yeah. Wait. I remember. That's it. You wish to be reunited with our family." He tells me.
"You gave me your word, Niklaus." I tell him angrily.
"What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me." He asks me sarcastically.
"I could have. But I didn't." I tell him as I assist him putting the jacket on.
"And now no one can, not even you. Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven." He says to me and I hear a slight lie in his tone which I choose to dismiss.
"Where are they?" I ask sharply.
"You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough." He tells me as we head back towards Alaric's house.
I walk into aunt Jenna's house to see Alaric and Jenna cuddling on the sofa. I walk in and see Alaric, he looks up at me.
"Sorry, you've reached somebody who's currently not operating." He tells me whilst looking to Jenna with a smile.
"I need your help. It's Damon." I tell him
"Well, you must have me confused with somebody else. You see, I'm not going to help, I am only good enough to idly sit by while my girlfriend gets sacrificed on an altar of blood. Whilst Damon locks me away. I want to spend today with Jenna, not worrying about when the next vampire apocalypse is due." He tells me looking at Jenna who smiles in return.
"He's dying, 'Ric and I would not come to you unless I was desperate, I really wanted you to have a good day with Jenna but I don't know what to do." I tell him beginning to pace the edge of the living room.
"What?" He asks in shock getting up.
"Tyler Lockwood bit him. We don't have much time." I tell him nervously.
"What do you need?" He asks.
"He is in the Salvatore cellar, just watch him. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid whilst I help Stefan look for the cure." I tell him, he gives a nod before leaving the house.
"Sorry Jenna." I say to her apologetically.
"It's fine, go help Damon." She says dismissively, was waving at the door. I mutter a thank before driving to the old witch house.
I meet Stefan and Bonnie inside of the witch house. Bonnie lights a candle on the floor with a match.
"I'm not sure this is going to work." Bonnie tells us.
"You've done a séance before, right? Contacted Emily Bennett. Maybe one of the witches might know how to help Damon." He tells her reassuringly.
"Let's just hope they want to." She casts a spell. The candles in the room suddenly start burning. Some voices start whispering around them.
"Bonnie? Bonnie?" Stefan says worried as bonnie then opens her eyes.
"Emily." She corrects him.
"Why have you come here, Stefan?" She asks him ignoring my presence.
"I need your help. I need to know if there's a spell that can heal a werewolf bite." Stefan asks her hopeful.
"No. Nature ensures a balance to everything." She says getting rid of all Stefan's hope.
"Is that true...or are you just saying no because it's Damon?" Stefan asks.
Before anything else can be said I cut in. "That's a lie I knew a coven who knew what the cure was they just refused to tell anyone, holding it as leverage." I tell her she looks over to me annoyed, before turning back to Stefan.

"Perhaps it is his time to die." She suggests
"No. That's not balance. That's punishment. Aria says there is a cure, what is it?" He demands.
"I will not give you what you want." Emily says to us.
"So you're saying that there's an answer to give? Please, if you know something, just tell me. Help me save my brother." Stefan begs her, bonnie all of a sudden falls to the floor covering her ears and screaming.
"Bonnie." We both say going over to help her up.
"They don't want us here. They think I'm abusing their power." She tells us quietly.
"They know something. There's an answer. They just don't want to tell me." He says with desperation.
"I heard them say a name." Bonnie says.
"What was it?" I ask.
"Klaus." She says quietly.
Stefan and I enter Alaric's apartment to see someone who looks exactly like Elena and me, not noticing my presence she looks to Stefan.
"Hello, Katherine." Stefan says as the girl I now know as Katherine gets up.
"Two days, I've been waiting. I'm supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now. He's supposed to be dead!" She shouts at Stefan before turning to me. "You must be the other doppelgänger." She says.
"I prefer you to Elena already." I say looking at her.
"Why?" She questions genuinely curious.
"You have amazing clothing style have you seen what Elena wears, she dresses like a downgrade to you." I quickly ramble out to her
"I think we are going to be good friends..." she says, not knowing my name.
"Aria" I say before Stefan cuts in.
"We ran into complications." Stefan simply says. As I make my way to the sofa.
"Complications?" Kathrine asks.
"Doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" Stefan asks impatiently.
She pushes him against the wall and motions for him to be quiet. Klaus and Elijah walk through the door. I just remain where I am not really bothered to move, I'm tired. I mean I have been running around all day.
" Klaus, you're back. Look who decided to come for a visit." Katerina says to me as Elijah and I enter the apartment, I look over to see Stefan. Then I look over to see Aria half asleep on the sofa.
"You just keep popping up, don't you?" I tell him mockingly.
"I need your help...For my brother." He tells me, slowly walking forward.
"Well, whatever it is, it's gonna have to wait a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." I tell him going to find Elijah's dagger.
"You understand how important family is, or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." I hear Elijah say as I come up behind him.
"And so I shall." I say to him as I stab a dagger through Elijah's heart, killing him.
I hear an ear piercing scream and look over to see aria writhing in pain on the floor, I go over to her, but she flinched out of my grip. Deciding not to upset her anymore I leave her alone and approach Stefan.
"Now, what am I gonna do with you?" I ask Stefan putting a stake through Stefan. Stefan groans and buckles forward but I hold him up.
"Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart. The slightest little movement and you're dead." I ask him.
"He's just trying to help his brother." I hear Katerina defending him.
"The witches said you had a cure. Make me a deal. Just give me the cure, and I'll do whatever you want." He gasps out as I remove the steak, and Stefan falls on the floor. I walk over to the counter, place the dagger on it, and pours myself a glass of blood.
"Trouble is I don't know if you'd be any good to me the way you are now. You are just shy of useless." I tell him.
Stefan is still on the floor. Klaus has a glass of blood in his hands and crouches down to speak to him. Katherine is looking at them.
"I heard about this one vampire, crazy bloke, always on and off the wagon for decades. When he was off, he was magnificent. 1917, he went into Monterrey and wiped out an entire migrant village...A true ripper. Sound familiar?" Klaus says to Stefan looking him in the eye.
"I haven't been that way in a very long time." Stefan replies nervously.
"Well, that's the vampire I can make a deal with. That is the kind of talent that I can use when I leave this town." He tells Stefan, Stefan gets up.
"Katerina, come here." Klaus says as Katherine slowly approaches him. He viciously grabs he arm. His face then changes his eyes gleaming yellow, with light veins under his eyes... it is kind of hot. Shut up Aria, you already have soulmate, he has just killed him remember, and you are in pain because of it. Finally stopping that I look back over to see that Katherine has been bitten by Klaus.
"Aah! Aah! No. No...No. No. No." Katherine says in disbelief and panic, however before anything more can happen, Klaus bites his own wrist and makes Katherine drink his blood. Her wound heals. Klaus looks at Stefan.
"You want your cure? There it is." Klaus says.
"Your blood is the cure." Stefan whispers in disbelief.
"Gotta love Mother Nature." Klaus says placing his arm on Stefan's shoulder.
"Now...Let's talk, you and I." Klaus continues pulling Stefan over to the table
I squeeze the knife blade tightly, and blood is pouring from my hand into a vial. Stefan is looking at me.
"There it is. You want to save your brother? How 'bout a decade-long bender? And I have big plans for you when we leave this town." I ask him.
"I'm not like that anymore." Stefan denies.
"Well, that's too bad. You would have made a hell of a wingman." I say as I begin to pour the vial of blood down the sink.
"Wait." Stefan says and I stop pouring the blood.
"Now that's more like it. I want you to join me for a drink." I ask him throwing him a blood bag along the counter, he carefully picks it up, I watch him whilst drinking my own glass of blood. Stefan begins to drink the blood bag.
"Finish it. All of it. You do everything I say, and I save your brother. That's the deal." I tell him and once he has finished I throw him another blood bag.
"Again." I say as Stefan drinks.
There are four emptied blood bags on the floor. Stefan is sitting on the floor finishing drinking one. He grunts, and looks up at me as I am standing nearby.
"You're very cooperative. It's almost as if you're enjoying it." I tell him with a smirk as I throw him another bag.
"No more. Not until you give me the cure." Stefan says to me.
"Not until we make a deal. It's your choice, Stefan. You can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls, or you can embrace what you truly are, leave town with me and Aria, and save your brother's life." I crouch down, and pick up the next blood bag and offer it to Stefan. Stefan snatches it and drinks vigorously.
"Wait what." I hear Aria scream.
"Your coming with me love, you have no choice in the matter." I tell her, she huffs and falls back on the sofa.
"That's the spirit." I tell him. I takes the vial with my blood and look at Katherine.
"Sweetheart..." I compel her.
"Take this over to Damon and come right back." I tell her.
"You want me to leave?" Katherine says in excitement.
"No!" Stefan screams.
"Yes and if I were you..." I say as she takes the vial and rushes out the door.
"I'd hurry." I say as I sit down on the chair.
"She'll never take it to him." Stefan says as aria rubs his shoulder reassuringly. I cock my head in a gesture of indifference. Stefan looks down and whispers to himself.
"She'll never take it to him." Stefan whispers to himself.
Elijah is lying in a coffin. Klaus is looking at him. Two men are standing nearby. We are in a warehouse filled with wooden crates.
"I suppose, brother, you've been reunited with our family." He says as I just remain silent not wanting to talk to him. He closes the lid and the pain in my heart slightly increases. He looks over to the two men.
"Put him with the others. We're leaving town tonight." He says whilst gently grabbing my hand piling me away from his coffin. The men put him with others coffins.
"So...Did Katerina make it in time?" He asks Stefan.
"You won't be seeing her again, you know." Stefan says not wanting to answer the question, a small smile coming on to my face now knowing that Damon is ok.
"Because she's on vervain? I've been around a long time, Stefan. I rarely get played for a fool. Besides, she won't get far. You'll help me see to that." Klaus says as Stefan walks over to him.
"What is it you really want from me?" Stefan asks him getting impatient.
"All will be explained in time. Once we leave this tragic little town." Klaus tells him.
"Then are we done here? Can we go?" Stefan asks wanting to leave before he can change his mind about going.
"Not quite. You see, I have a gift for you." Klaus says sinisterly.
"Come here, sweetheart. Don't be afraid." He says as A girl walks over from behind a crate. Klaus looks at Stefan.
"See, I wanna make sure you honor our deal...that you'll be of use to me." He says before he bites the girl's neck and drinks her blood.
"I could have compelled her to behave, but a real ripper enjoys the hunt." He says as he releases her. She runs away, screaming. Stefan stops her, bites her and drinks her blood until she's dead. Klaus looks at him.
"Now we can go." Klaus says grabbing my hand, pulling me towards the car.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.

Medley of Fates Worse than Death
Rick wakes up in a world unknown to him. He doesn't know what exactly happened or why he is there, he just feels he's not from that world as if he had Dissociative amnesia. Soon after waking up, he gets attacked not once, not twice but three times in a single day. Our hero can know how strong enemies are thanks to a special ability of his, but the thing is... What good does it do to know just how weak you are compared to a deadly creature chasing you? This is a LitRPG Fantasy Adventure in which battles are won (or lost) with strategy and wits as our protagonists aren't necessarily the strongest... So if you enjoy more strategic battles I think you will love this story!About the chapters: I will post mostly 1,300 or so word chapters, I love weekly manga and feel like that pacing is similar to the one in a weekly serial chapter, hopefully, you enjoy these chunk-sized chapters :) I only do this for fun in my free time so I think I will probably post a chapter a week, but if my patreon ever gets busy I might put more time into my hobby xD If you feel like checking out some of the newest chapters, I have them over on my Patreon (Currently 5 chapters in advance): www.patreon.com/rija Extra info (Might get spoilery): As the story progresses I intend to add more strategy, politics and economics into the story, but it will still be mostly a LitRpg action-adventure. (Also if you had read my synopsis previously I changed it a bit because the elements I mentioned before in the synopsis won't come into play until much later into the story, and that's why I changed it.)
