《Make Me Love Again (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES)》GHOST WORLD

It is literally 6am and I am wide awake getting ready for the day. I mean it has to be the nerves, I mean I hate getting up early, but here we are.
After getting ready really fast and quietly making sure not to wake up Rebekah and eating breakfast, I was out to find my new home. I mean the Salvatore's are great, but I can't stay here permanently I would end up killing someone.
So after what seems like a decade picking an apartment, it was nearby but not too close so that I am going to be bothered a lot. I mean it was expensive, but Nik is rich and entrusted me with his credit card. He can consider this punishment for not answering if I mattered or not. But I am not still mad about it... nope not mad at all.
After all the papers were signed I make my way to a screaming blood covered Damon. I immediately rush into the room and rip the chains off Damon.
"What the hell happened." I asked him confused to what was happening.
"Let's just say, if you kill someone supernatural always be ready to face the consequences. Now, you are coming with me I may need you wolfie." Damon tells me getting ready to leave.
"I can't I have to see Jenna. And i need to get my things from here and Jenna's so I can move into my house." I tell him.
"We'll get want you need, I will take you." He says. I quickly get my stuff placing it into the car before driving away. On the way we see Bonnie and Caroline and Damon stops the car.
"Greetings, blondie. Witchy. I think you got your voodoo wires all crossed when you got rid of Vicki Donovan." Damon says from the other side of the car.
"What do you mean, why?" Bonnie asks confused.
"Because I'm pretty sure I just got spit-roasted by Mason Lockwood's ghost. I mean I had wolfie doppelgänger save me." Damon tells them dramatically.
"What?" Bonnie asks in shock.
"And why would you think that?" Caroline asks him confused.
"Maybe because he chained me to a chair and shoved a hot poker in my chest. Let's just say I'm having déjà vu." Damon says confused. Caroline looks at Bonnie.
"I thought you said that ghosts couldn't physically interact with people." Caroline asks really confused.
"They can't." I pipe in.
"Yeah, well, I don't have time for a vengeful Lockwood. When I kill someone, they're supposed to stay dead. Whatever you screwed up, fix it. Now, I am dropping you off round your aunt's Aria." Damon tells me. He drives away fast with his tires squealing.
After about 5 more minutes we had arrived at Jenna's. I grab my suitcase out of Damon's
car.
"Meet me in a few hours at the grill, we need to get Ric up to date." Damon tells me before driving away.
Do you ever get that strange feeling of deja vu, when things just seem to repeat themselves. I mean just a few months ago I was in this exact situation. Standing outside my aunts with a hard decision of going in or not. Raising my hand I quickly knock on the door so I cannot back out of my decision to go in.

Jenna opens the door and stares at me in complete shock. Before anything else can happen or be said I quickly speak up.
"Look, I know it has been a while but I do have a good explanation to what is wrong." I tell her quickly.
She stands aside and leads me to the living room where we both sit on the opposite sofas.
"You told me you would explain. So explain." She tells me. Ouch Jenna. Ouch.
"You remember Elijah, well he is my soulmate and he isn't the only one it turned out that Klaus the one that sacrificed is my soulmate too. I didn't know that at the time, he forces me to go with him. I didn't even find out he was my soulmate till half way through. I would have called you if I had the chance." I tell her quickly, she just stared shocked. Elijah also bringing back the pain to my chest.
"I forgive you. But don't ever do that to me again Aria." Jenna said before throwing her arms around me.
I spent the next couple of hours talking to Jenna about everything we did on our trip, how her life has been since she is a vampire, how things are with Alaric. She seems to be doing well. Before quickly packing my stuff into the suitcases that I first brought here.
Then I hear a horn outside and quickly say goodbye to Jenna, before chucking my suitcases into the car jumping in. He drives to the grill quickly without any conversation
We walk in quickly.
"I'll grab Jeremy." I hear Alaric say as we walk into the grill. Damon has told me I am his partner for the rest of the day, I mean I thought he hated me but oh well.
"I'll be right back." Elena says going toward the restrooms. Damon and I walks up alongside Alaric.
" You know, I've had enough vampires today, thanks." Alaric says, after glancing at Damon.
"Oh, come on. Have a drink with me. We've got trouble. I even had to get Aria here to help me." Damon tells Alaric.
"No, you've got trouble. See, we're not a team. You tried to kill me. All right? We're not friends. I don't like you anymore. And leave aria alone she doesn't need your problems." Alaric tells him. Aww Alaric I didn't think you cared.
"Ah! But remember back when you liked me and we conspired to kill Uncle werewolf Mason Lockwood?" Damon asks him rhetorically.
"Yeah, and?" Alaric asks him.
"I think he's still a little pissed." Damon tells him slightly cringing.
Damon, Alaric and are still at the bar. Mason arrives, that is glaring at Damon.
"Mason." Alaric says emotionlessly.
"God, I miss whiskey." Mason says before He takes a drink from a glass and then smashes it on Damon's forehead. Damon then looks at Alaric.
"Told ya." Damon says cringing.
"I am never going to hear the end of that damn necklace." Damon mumbles looking at his phone. Mason is still there, drinking from a shot glass.

"One of you will pay for this, right? Cheers." Mason tells us before He downs the shot.
"I will." I tell him with a smile.
"Thank you little A." Mason tells me with a smile, which I returns.
"Let's get to it. I killed you. You want revenge. Get in line." Damon tells mason.
"Actually, I want an apology." Mason tells him.
Alaric and I laugh.
"Good luck with that." Alaric tells Mason.
"Don't you have a family to haunt? You know your nephew has turned into a mindless hybrid Minion." Damon asks him sarcastically.
"That's why I'm here. To help Tyler." Mason tells him.
"Well, sorry to break it to you, buddy, but Tyler can't be helped. At least not while Klaus is alive. Which is, like, always." Damon says mockingly.
"Not necessarily. Not if you found a weapon that could kill him." Mason says.
"We are not killing him." I say angrily, annoyed at the fact it was even suggested.
"There is no weapon that...What do you know?" Damon asks ignoring my last statement as Mason gives a sympathetic look.
"I know you need to apologize." Mason tells him.
"You got to be kidding me." Damon mutters out.
"Are you incapable of remorse? Just apologize!" Alaric shouts to him.
"You're right. I didn't have to kill you. I do a lot of things I don't have to do." Damon tells Mason who ends up laughing.
"That's good enough." Mason says before getting up.
"Meet me at the old Lockwood cellar. Bring a shovel. Come alone." Mason tells him looking over to Alaric in the middle.
"What, you're going to bury me alive?" Damon asks him.
"Don't tempt me." Mason replies jokingly. Before He leaves. Damon looks at Alaric. I leave shortly after.
After a while I run into Jeremy who is walking quickly through the town square.
"Anna! Anna!" He screams He runs into another person giving me enough time to catch up with him.
"Sorry. Hey, man sorry about that." He tells the man before looking over to me. "Hey, aria have you seen a girl with long black hair wearing a leather jacket." He asks.
"No, but I will help you look." I tell him as he shoots me a thankful smile before we both continue searching for Anna.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Mr. Fell seems to have been detained, so the history department's very own Mr. Saltzman has agreed to fill in." Carols says beginning her speech for the illumination night. Everyone applauds. Alaric goes toward the stage. Jeremy calls Anna. She turns her head. Jeremy runs towards her, with me following closely behind.
"Still hanging around the Gilbert kid, huh? I guess you forgot the fact that his family killed you and your mother." I hear the person say who Jeremy bumped into early speaking to Anna. Jeremy and I arrive.
"There you are. Is everything all right?" Jeremy asks her as she looks over to me weirdly.
"Ask your ancestors." The man says sarcastically.
"What are you doing here, Frederick?" Anna asks him as two other men join him.
"Well, it's a Founders' celebration. And we've..." the man called Frederick says as He looks at the two men.
" We got some unfinished business with the Founding Families." Fredrick says
"On behalf of Mystic Falls High School Historical Society, let's light 'em up!" Alaric says beginning his speech. The lanterns light up. There's applause. Suddenly there's a scream and Tobias Fell is hanging from a tree, dead. Anna looks at Frederick. He smiles. I end up loosing Jeremy in the crowd, so I decide to walk back to my house.
"No way! I am not leaving you!" I hear bonnie say from a car along the road.
"Bonnie, you've got your ghost boyfriend drama. Elena has hers. And right now the mother of mine is about to be ghost bait. So go and send them all back to the other side, okay?" Caroline tells her sternly.
"I will help her bonnie." I tell her to reassure her. Caroline gets out of the car. Bonnie leaves. Frederick looks at Caroline and smiles. Caroline vamps out and rushes toward him.
Caroline and I are fighting with the tomb vampire ghosts. Frederick clutches her neck but he suddenly disappears. We look around us.
I wave goodbye to her heading towards to me house to do the last thing I planned to do today call Nik.
Once I was back to my house and packed away I pull out the phone to call Nik. I quickly dial the number Stefan gave me before placing the phone to my ear.
"Hello." He says on the line.
"Hi, it's Aria." I say awkwardly.
"Hello, love. How have you been." He asks slightly awkward back.
"Good, I made up with Jenna and brought a new house. I miss you loads though." I tell him.
"I miss you too, love." He tells me too which I smile.
"Why didn't you answer me when i asked you if I mattered to you." I say getting back to seriousness.
"Look Aria you do matter." He tells me.
"Then why wouldn't you tell me." I ask him no a little mad.
"It wasn't the time Aria." He tells me slightly annoyed.
"Fine." I say before ending the phone not wanting to get in an argument.
What a day it has been I think before going and getting ready for bed. Tomorrow I need shopping therapy with 'Bekah to get my mind off this I think before turning off the light going to sleep.

Besotted
Jericho never thought about gaining superpowers. Like everyone else in society, he simply expected his abilities to manifest on their own, but they never did. With the help of his doctor, it looks like Jericho finally hit a breakthrough, and after a few years of being powerless, things might start looking up for him. Join Jericho and others as they interact in this world where everyone has extraordinary abilities. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ HIATUS NOTE (Please read): Starting June, I will be going on a summer hiatus (around 3 months) to focus on my future career and set myself up to succeed in school. I will still be writing in the meantime and creating a backlog, but I won't be posting chapters. I apologize for this. I wish there was another way. Note: This story has multiple POVs, but the main one is Jericho. The MC grows and develops throughout the story and isn't instantly OP. I try to write ~1500 words per chapter but I write according to what I feel is suitable. (Could be more. Could be less). The content warning tags are mostly for flexible writing, but do expect it or something of the sort. This is a story suitable for older teens and adults. Schedule: New chapter every other Sunday (sometimes Monday if I'm a bit behind).
