《The Gotham Ghost King》Percy & Nico: Brothers Edition

Surprisingly enough, Nico was fairly quiet the moment he woke up. Looking around the room, his eyes settled on the scarred face of Ethan Nakamura, before launching himself at him, sword drawn.
"FUCK, HE'S AWAKE." Cobalt yelled, tackling Ghost King and knocking him to the side.
"NO SHIT SHERLOCK." Tawny replied, picking up Two Face and pushing herself off the ground.
"LET ME AT THAT MOTHERFUCKER!!" Ghost yelled, squirming on the floor.
"No can do, Ghostie. Can't have you murdering anybody right now." Cobalt sat on top of Ghost, the pair looking like a wrestling pair of siblings.
"Uhm." Nightwing looked concerned. "Should we do anything about this?"
"Nah. It's fine unless Spook gets out. I guess you guys can take Two Face someplace safe for now until we can get Ghostie to calm down. Maybe your secret lair? Heroes have lairs, right?" Tawny said, still hovering in the air.
"...Sure. Nightwing, take Two Face and go. You're in charge of him."
"Hold up. You guys are heroes, right?" Red Hood asked.
"Uh, yeah?"
"Then shouldn't you guys have a base of operations?"
"Nah." Cobalt responded, looking relaxed as ever as he continued to sit on the mad teen.
"But why?"
"We travel around a lot. Let the wind take us wherever we're needed." Tawny replied.
Batman spoke up. "I don't think I've heard anything about you two on the hero comn lines."
"Meh. We're new, and trying to keep a low profile for the time being."
"Hm. I'll have to keep an eye out for your names."
"Eh. We should get Ghost out of here. He could use to let off some steam for a bit."
"We'll take our leave then, unless you need any other help?"

"Nope. We got this covered."
Red Hood and Batman left the building, Batman returning to the Manor while Rex Hood kept watch outside in case anything happened.
Inside the warehouse
"So then."
"So."
"How are we-"
"You go find the lights, I put up one of those barriers from Goldie?"
"Sounds like a plan, fish food."
Minutes later, a magical barrier was put in place, the entire warehouse was brightly lit, and Percy and Annabeth were ready to punch death's cousin in the face.
"You ready Wise Girl?"
"Sure."
Percy leaped off Nico's back, who shot up and jumped backwards, giving himself some space between them all.
Nico's eyes were focused, analyzing the opponents in front of him, while also looking indifferent, not recognizing the two as his friends.
"You know, I could've gone another three lifetimes without seeing him like this again," Percy mentioned to Annabeth.
Shooting up to dodge a stab from Nico, Annabeth looked at her fiancé. "Again? We saw him pissed, but never really trying to flat out kill us in straight combat."
Percy let off a nervous smile while blocking an attack from Nico. "About that... Do you remember that crack near the dining pavilion?"
"Are you fucking serious?"
"Absolutely."
The two continued to banter while avoiding Nico's sword and green fireballs that he was fighting with, trying to let him tire himself out without actually hurting him.
...And of course, the plan went out the window when Nico managed to create a fireball large enough to shatter the barrier.
Annabeth immediately dived and picked Nico up, but not before he managed to summon a handful of skeletons that were lit up with Greek fire.
Percy stared at the advancing skeletons before letting out a long-suffering sigh. "Don't let him shadow travel. I'm taking a nap after this, and you can deal with the gremlin in the meantime."

True to his word, not a moment after dispatching all of the skeletons, Percy Jackson collapsed onto the floor next to Will.

—————Author's Note—————
I didn't feel like writing an intense fight scene this past two weeks. So instead you get a suspicious Bat, and two brothers wrestling when one of them really doesn't want to mess around.
Notes. Nico can create and control Greek Fire as a power boost, IDK if this is a common thing, but in my family we call close friends of our parents Uncle and Aunt, so since Hades and Thanatos are 'friends', Nico is kinda the cousin of death. Goldie is Hazel.
If you can't tell, I really don't have an actual plan for this story.
Idk. Interesting things? My birthday is Saturday. School starts soon.
Have a good two weeks,

Gremlin's Greed
When the power of one's magic is directly linked to how strong they believe they are, fools are kings. Jasper, a foul mouthed gremlin with a penchant for eating rats, has a serious problem. His only friend, Ethan, is dying, and the only cure is an artifact with enough power to make a god. Joined by a young pirate woman who has never used magic before and a mysterious woman that seems to know their future before it happens, they set out to save Ethan's life. His chances of survival don't look good. With every day that goes by, Ethan grows weaker. They set off to the Ashen Lands, where even the self-proclaimed gods fear to tread. Luckily, Jasper isn't a god - he's a gremlin, and he's completely and utterly insane. He's going to save Ethan's life, no matter what it costs him. Minutes to Madness is a lighthearted fantasy novel speckled with comedy while retaining the serious undertone of a race against time. The entire novel can be read on my patreon or on Amazon. Gaia Ark
Commander Coop, a four-armed, power-armored, super-soldier, undertakes a mission to assassinate the head of a religious cult bent on destroying the UPSF and everyone they protect. But no mission is ever that simple. GAIA ARK is an action adventure hero's journey featuring a cranky cyborg, vampiric sword, alien monsters, and enough self-discovery to provide a character arc. It's a little rough around the edges, a little crude. I started writing this story on November 2, 2018. This story is mid-composition. Please expect clunky prose, notes [in brackets], and incomplete...

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
