《Blood Alpha (Completed)》Epilogue

I was at the stove flipping some pancakes when two large arms wrapped themselves around my swollen belly. A trail of light kisses went from the base of my neck, around to my ear and shallow breathing took their place. I couldn't help but giggle as the arms tightened around me.
"God, I want you back into bed love"
I swatted at his arms as I turned to place the pancakes on a plate "That's what got us into this mess in the first place mister"
"And? I think you look extremely beautiful pregnant"
"Is that why I've been pretty much pregnant the last 12 years?"
"Yeah, pretty much. Plus, I told you that I wanted a lot of kids"
I shook my head and waddled over to the table and placed the pancakes down with the hoard of other foods. I turned around and noticed Damien starting at me. I shook my head and swatted him on the back of the head as I walked past.
"Your absolutely terrible"
"I can't help it!"
"Well, this is the last one. I'm telling you that now"
"Aw, not even one more?"
I spun around and waggled my finger in his face "Nuh uh. You said that 2 months ago. We have 10 kids! No more"
"Hey, at least I could start my own basketball team"
I didn't even bother responding, I placed the juice in the middle of the table and sat in my spot. Damien quickly sat and started placing food on a plate, I did the same and once our plates were full, Damien looked at me and I nodded.
"Here we go" He winked at me with a toe curling smile "Breakfast is ready kids! Come and get it!"
We began eating as it felt like the entire place shook with the sound of our children running down the stairs. Damien turned to me "Who do you think will win today?"
"Oh Marty for sure. He leaves today, they will let him win"
"True, how are you feeling about that?"
Truthfully, I tried to not think about it really. I just shrugged and looked up as the first kid rounded the corner and like I predicted, Marty came first. I smiled at him as he sat down beside me and planted a kiss on my cheek.
"Morning Mama"
"Morning little wolf"
I watched as the rest of my children all filed in, our oldest boy, the baby we were pregnant with while everyone went on with Marty, Caden, came in next and did the same as Marty. Kissed my cheek and sat beside Marty, after swatting the back of his head. I shook my head and laughed. Our eldest girl, Molly came next. She looked exactly like me and she is starting to have symptoms of being exactly like me, red haze and all. Which we still don't understand.

As they all filed in, good mornings flew around, cheeks were kissed and everyone sat down and began piling their plates high. Brooke came in last, with our youngest two under her arms.
"Found these two wondering around outside" She plonked them into their highchairs next to me and smiled
"Thanks Brooke. The older ones were supposed to be watching them" I looked pointedly at Marty and Caden, they studiously avoided eye contact.
She smiled and continued into the kitchen, I don't know what I would do without Brooke, she has been a big help with the kids over the past few years. Damien has stepped back down after taking over as Alpha for a while as we all healed from the ordeal. Marty took a while to get back to his happy little self but now, he is getting ready to go live at the palace and begin his training with Rosie. Internally, I'm freaking out that my son is going to be the next king, but externally, I am extremely proud.
Caden is beginning his Alpha training today as well. If he decides he doesn't want to become the Alpha, then Molly will take over from him. From what I've seen, I think that's whats going to happen. Caden much prefers to sit back and let other people sort things out. He wants to stay out of all conflict.
Once everyone had eaten some, I began talking again. It's no point talking when they have just began to eat, they will ignore you like champs. I sat back and laid a hand on my stomach.
"Little wolf? Are you all packed?"
Marty smiled and nodded his head "Yeah, I just have to pack a couple more things. What time will the car be here?"
"At about midday, so you have a few hours. I will be in my office for most of the morning, but I will make sure to come out to see you off okay"
"Sure mama. Who is coming to pick me up?"
"I'm not totally sure. Alexis wouldn't tell me" I shrugged
"I hope it's uncle Felix. I miss him"
"So do I, but he's busy with the little ones"
The front door slammed and little feet could be heard slamming against the floor. I smiled, only one person would dare to slam the door in my house. A little blonde girl came flying around the corner and straight to Damien.
"Uncle Damien!" She threw herself in his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck
I snorted while Damien made sure she was secure and wasn't going to fall off. He smiled back at the cute little girl, her dad came walking around the corner shaking his head.

"I swear, no personal space that one"
"Morning uncle Thrain" Marty smiled over at him
"Morning kiddo. All packed and ready?"
"Almost, just a little bit more to go"
"Good man. I'm sorry but I have to borrow your mom for while. Work to do"
Damien looked over at me with a worried face on, the only time I have to be 'borrowed' is when there is trouble brewing. I smiled at him and waddled myself over to the table. I went down the table, kissing everyone on their cheeks and saying goodbye. I got to Damien and gave him a long kiss, with the kids ewwing.
"I'll talk to you soon"
I walked over to Thrain and he threw his arm around my shoulder, not to be supportive, but to make sure I walked fast enough. I shook my head and elbowed him in the side, a grunt made me smile.

Midday came around way too quickly, I'm not sure that I am ready to let one of my children go. I know he has to go and learn how to be a king, but why does it have to be now. But then Thrain made a really good point. Him and Rosie will finally be fully together, they haven't spent much time together, but from now on they will be able to develop their relationship further.
Alpha, the car from the palace is here
I thanked the border guard and made my way outside the pack house. The car was pulling up just as I stepped off the porch. The car door opened and a familiar scent hit me, I stood up straighter and a large smile took over my face. A more rugged version of my baby brother climbed out of the car, before I could warn him, all 10 of children came flying out of various buildings and threw themselves at him. I cringed when I saw him struggle under the weight of them all, but I couldn't help but laugh. I let him struggle for a few more minutes before saving him.
"Right. Get off your uncle you lot" Straightaway all of them slowly started pealing themselves away from their missed uncle. I couldn't help but to shake my head, they are a bunch of savages I swear.
"Thanks sis" Felix said as the last child stepped away
"No problems. Now, come and give your older sister a hug" He came over and threw his arms around me, well tried to anyway.
"Geez, this one is taking up a lot of space isn't he"
"Oh yeah, not long now" I smiled up at him "Now, why didn't Alexis tell me you were the one coming to pick Marty up?"
"We wanted to surprise everyone of course"
Felix turned to Marty "You ready to get going dude?"
"Yeah. Mama, wheres dad?"
"Here I am. Sorry, Tony wouldn't shut up" Everyone nodded in agreement
Marty made his way to me while Felix put his bags in the trunk of the car. Marty towered over me now, his dark hair was constantly getting in his eyes but he won't let me cut it. He is starting to fill out more now, and his tracking skills have become invaluable to the pack. I brushed his hair out of his face and cupped his cheeks.
"My little wolf. I'm going to miss you so much"
"I'm going to miss you too mama. Don't worry about me, I'll have uncle Felix watching over me"
"That's what I'm worried about" I tugged him into a tight hug. I didn't want to let go of him.
"Come on love, let me say goodbye to my boy" I reluctantly let him go.
Damien drew Marty into a long hug, they must have talked through mind link because I didn't hear them say anything. I smiled as Marty hugged each of his brothers and sisters, Thrain and Delilah and then said goodbye to his friends.
I turned to Felix and raised my eyebrow "You take care of my pup Felix, you hear me?"
"Yes ma'am. You know I will watch over him like he was one of my own"
I smiled and hugged Felix one last time before watching them both get into the car. Marty stuck his hand out the window and waved to everyone. I felt a tear slide down my cheek, Damien threw his arm around my shoulder and drew me close to him. Caden came up to me and hugged me sideways, he was followed by all of the kids as the car slowly drove down the driveway. I wiped my tears and shook myself, I can't be sad. He will be fine, he will have an entire palace looking out for him.
"Come on Caden. Time for your training to start" I took Caden's hand and pulled him with me up to my office.
