《Satan's Assassin》:Chapter 24:

I pointed the crossbow and pulled the trigger. The bullet slammed right between the rogues eyes. "Apportez les cieux." Orchid said as she started to do her heavens blast. I stepped back and let Derik and Orchid take the ones down in the front. I pulled the trigger again and shot a grey wolf that was jumping at a little girl.
"I can't use this crossbow." I groaned. I threw it and pulled the trigger by accident. I heard a wolf whimper as it hit them. I grabbed my pistols and smirked. This was one of the reasons I was obsessed with Harley Quinn. I aimed the gun and shot a reddish wolf down. There eyes were a dull red. Not hellhound bright glowing red. It made no since.
Dalton pushed his way through the crowd. He's never seen me really fight good. Probably thinks I'm gonna die. I aimed again and shot. Then there was a rapid shots as I shot down 10 wolves. All of them hit the ground with a silent thud. I twirled my guns around. "Who's next?" I asked with a smirk.
'Satan, if your gonna play with them, play with them like this.' Derik said in my head. Derik stopped shooting and stood still. A rogue jumped at him and he back flipped out of the way. "Move a little faster." Derik teased. Then he shot the wolf between the eyes.
He wants to play gymnastics, I'll play, but I'm gonna win. I waited for a wolf to try to attack me. Just as it did, I summoned some demon. I jumped up and landed directly on the wolf's neck. A solid crack went through the hall. Then I flipped. "Who's better now?" I asked Derik. He aimed the gun at me. "Your that mad!" I yelled. Then he shot. A wolf fell behind me.
I glared at him. He simply gave me that mischief smirk. I pointed my gun at him and shot. A white wolf fell to the ground. "She killed an original." Someone behind me whispered. I pointed at the left and shot. A brown wolf fell to the ground. I went to go shoot but only a click was heard.
"Shit." I muttered. They were advancing to fast for me to reload. I put the guns back in their holsters. I reached for my knife. But when I did my hand brushed two different guns. My handguns with holy bullets. It's a longshot but they might have something to do with hellhounds.
I grabbed them and aimed at the wolves. I pulled the triggers. Two of them fell down. Steam started rising from them. Then they burst into flames. .' My eyes widened. That's why there stronger and faster.

The ones I didn't shot in the front glared at me. They knew that I know their secrets. I tightened my hands on the guns. "I'm sending you back to hell to your creators." I said. Holy bullets flew, each one meeting there targets. The smoke raised from all of them before they burst into flames.
Derik looked at me. I knew I was gonna have to explain. Derik motioned me to him. I looked at them. They can shift if it gets bad. I took off towards Derik and we went back to back. "There hybrids." I said. "Go on." Derik said shooting a tan wolf. "Half wolf, half hellhound." I said as I shot down a blonde wolf.
"We are so dead." Derik said. "Use the flames." Derik commanded. I nodded. "So you wanna go?" I asked with a smirk. "Let's go." I whispered. ' I imagined flames appearing. Blue flames bursted. The rogues growled but backed up.
I gave up control for my body. I felt my soul be pushed aside as Satan booted his way in. "This is pathetic." Satan said. Derik froze. "Get out of my sites, mongrels." Satan said. Satan waved my hand and the rogues burst into flames. Whimpers and howls echoed through the room as the rouges exited.
Satan turned my body around. "Nothing to worry about, this happens a lot." Satan said. "Smooth, just smooth." Derik whispered. Satan glared at him. Satan looked at Dalton who just looked shocked. "So nice weather we're having." Satan said.
**************
"Please sit down." Daniella said motioning to the chair. Derik looked me in the eyes and nodded. We both sat down. Orchid looked like she wanted to scream. Andrew was just staring at her with this creepy love-stalker look. Daniella and Jackson sat across from us.
The Ashford brothers walked into the room. I rolled my eyes. We're hunters not a freak meant to be looked at. "I'd like to thank you for killing those rogues." Daniella said. "It gives me money and its sorta fun." I said. Derik elbowed me in the gut. "No problem, its our job." Derik said. Jackson looked at me but then nodded.
"We found something out." Derik said. "What?" Daniella asked sitting up. "The rogues are hybrids." I said. "Like half wolf half vampire?" Daniella asked. "No, half hellhound half wolf." I said. Silence filled the room. "This is bad." Jackson said. I nodded.
Dalton stepped forward. "I'm Alpha, I'll deal with it." Dalton said. We both looked at him. I stood up. Yes, I know Dalton is like two of me. "Have you ever dealt with any type of demon?" I asked. Dalton shook his head. "I sold my soul to the devil, I know how to deal with demons, let the professionals deal with it.

"Max, I need your help." A femine voice called out. My gaze snapped to the door. A tall girl stood there. She had long dark brown hair. Her eyes were blue with specks of purple. She was in sweatpants and a hoodie. My guess was she changed. "I need your help." The girl said. "Alright Amethyst." Max said walking away with her.
"Her Dad is the top warrior." Jackson said. I nodded. My eyes scanned Dalton. I was so not checking him out. "Remember who your talking to." I said. I looked at Derik. "We have to bounce, but give us a call if anything happens." I said. A business card landed on the table.
"Orchid lets go." I said. Orchid could make a cheetah jealous with the way she ran. I followed after her. Derik ran after Orchid and I heard something about Andrew.
Right then I was slammed into a wall. I almost screamed but a hand covered my mouth. I looked up into Dalton's eyes. He was caging me in again. I felt so vulnerable right now. But I had to look tough. I put my hands on his chest and tried pushing him off. Dalton didn't even budge. How the hell am I the second best hunter but can't push this kid off of me.
Dalton pushed my hands into the wall. His crystal blue eyes stared into my mine. "Why didn't you tell me?" Dalton asked. "Well you never really asked." I said. Dalton rolled his eyes at what I had said. He looked back at me and smirked slightly. "You look really, trapped." Dalton said.
Dalton's head leaned down towards mine and his lips met mine. He pushed his body against mine. His hand let go of one of my hands and grabbed my hair. With my hand free I grabbed at his shirt. He tugged on my hair bringing me closer to him. Surprisingly, I started to kiss him back.
I have never been into relationships really. I might of once had a crush on Derik when we first met, cause he was pretty cute. But now me and Derik just tease each other. But this was different. I mean Dalton's done this before. He was my first kiss.
Dalton then pulled back. His eyes just burned into mine. So many emotions were swirling in his pools of blue. Their was happiness, excitement, love, and lust. He sent me an award winning smile. He started tracing my arm. His hand pulled up my shirt revealing my stomach. Right at my side was a pentagram. The star was black. The outline of the circle was red and blue. The symbols in it a navy blue. This represented me being Satan's Vessel.
Silently Dalton traced it. "What is it?" Dalton asked. "Represents that I'm Satan's designed vessel." I said. "Designed?" Dalton questioned. "Powerful demons can destroy the body there possessing, but out there is a body that can hold their soul with no problems." I said. '
Dalton nodded. "I summoned Satan when my brothers died, I've known him that long." I said. Dalton nodded pulling my shirt down. "So you sold your soul technically?" Dalton asked. "No just a small section, I still have a soul, if Satan wants to be seen or heard he uses me." I said.
Dalton nodded. I smirked up at him. Blackmail time. "What are you hiding?" I asked. "I'm not hiding anything." Dalton said. "Then why do you always do this." I said looking at our very embarrassing position. "Are you that much of an idiot?" Dalton asked. "I'm not an idiot!" I said angrily.
Dalton got closer. We were centimeters apart now. I could feel his mint breath on my face. "Then why don't you know?" Dalton asked. I glared at him. "Stop playing games with me." I said scolding Dalton like a I would a bad dog. Pun was intended.
"You want to know." Dalton whispered in my ear. I'm pretty sure I am dealing with his wolf now. I nodded. Dalton was so close to my neck which was extremely sensitive. Suddenly Dalton was kissing my neck. I tried going through the wall. Apparently that wasn't a power for me. "Take a random guess." Dalton whispered in a sultry voice.
"You have problems." I said. Dalton laughed slightly. "Yeah and they lead back to you." Dalton said looking me in the eyes. "I might have a crush on you." Dalton said sweetly. That was not what I expected. Dalton let go of my hands and smiled like nothing happened.
"Don't forget the Halloween dance, we're doing something great, I'll text you what it is." Dalton said. He smiled at me and waved goodbye. I walked away really confused. It's official, Dalton's wolf is some crazed psychopath. I feel bad for Dalton's mate whoever she is.
With that I ran out to the car. I had some things to do. Plus Satan has some explaining to do. Lots of explaining to do.
I finished another chapter. I feel accomplished. High fives. So I made a new character, Amethyst, you'll find out more about her later. Until next time Marshmallows.
