《Park Jimin's Roommate || Park Jimin fanfic》9. The proposal

A year had passed and you and Jimin have had a few ups and downs in your relationship. That's how all relationships are, and they were never really big arguments. All that mattered to you was that you two loved each other and would find a way to make up.
Jimin has been out all day, and you stayed home and read a book. You looked out the window occasionally to see if he came back. The sun was setting and still no sign of Jimin. You texted him to ask him were he is and all he said was that he is on his was back.
As you waited for Jimin on the couch, your eyelids began to get heavy. You eventually fell asleep on the couch and Jimin got home to see you sleeping peacefully. He smiled at the sight and carried you to your room. He placed you on your bed and kissed your forehead. You grabbed his hand to stop him from leaving your room.
"Please don't go." You said. Jimin looked at you and your eyes shining under to moonlight shining through your window.
"You want me to stay in here with you?" He asked and you nodded. Jimin got on the bed with you and wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer.
The next day you woke and and Jimin wasn't in your room. You found a not on nightstand.
["(y/n), Get ready for the day and wear something nice."] The note read.
You got ready and wore a royal blue dress, and curled your hair. You did your makeup to finish the look and wore the rose necklace that Tae bought you for your birthday last year.
After getting ready you went to the kitchen and saw another note on the countertop. ["Go outside."] it read. You went outside and saw Jimin was standing out there in the spot you first met with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He was in a suit and fixed his tie as you walked over to him.

You stood in front of him smiling. Jimin gave you the bouquet. "Beautiful flowers for the beautiful lady." He said. You giggled as you took the flowers.
"You look handsome." You said
"And you look beautiful as always." He said.
You and Jimin went on a "surprise date" as what he called it. He took you to all your favorite places. The day went by pretty quickly and the moon was now out and shining brightly. Jimin took you the place where you had your first kiss. He closely like he did when he first brought you here.
"(Y/n)..." He calls you and you hum in response. He got down on one knee and pulled out a black box from his pocket, revealing a ring. (Wow... Who would've thought?) "You came into my life when I needed someone the most, and I am forever grateful for that. As the days passed I slowly fell in love for you and fell even deeper. So, Kim (y/n), will you marry me?"
Tears of joy were streaming down your face. "I would love to." You said. Jimin put the ring on your finger as he got up and kissed you.
"I love you." He said and rested his forehead on yours.
"And I love you." You said.
*inserts Do Bongsoon/Park Boyoung's adorable voice* "Happy. Ever. After."

Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.

The day they became Mortal
Paladins and Vampires have always been sworn enemies. While the Paladins were blessed with the power of Apollo, made to heal and to wield the power of light itself, the vampires were immortal beings with heightened senses, strength and speed. For centuries the two lived in general peace, while the paladins built their kingdom Appollis, the vampires resided in the sanguine lands of Sareth. All changed however when an unknown paladin poisoned the special water supply of the vampires with Blackrye, a plant that to the vampire's horror removed their right to eternal life. No longer protected from illness or the relentlessness of time the vampires were forced to indulge in more blood. Soon enough a war broke out between the two kingdoms, a war that would cost the life of King Barron of Appollis and the sanity of Queen Diana of Sareth. Their heirs were too young to ascend the throne, forcing the two kingdoms to hastily form a truce until both princes were old enough to rule their lands. Five years after the blood war Arrin of Appollis and Ophyr of Sareth rule their respective kingdoms, despite having been kings for a few years and heavily disliking each other due to their past, they decided to keep the truce in place. What happens however when Arrin decides to kidnap the vampire king after he unfortunately stumbled upon Appollonian terrain?

Red Clay Technical Services: Mercenaries, Magicians, and Marketing
Bobby likes Pabst Blue Ribbon, NASCAR races, and throwing fireballs. A through and through Georgia boy, raised down in the sticks but now working with all things mystic. He is, in other words, a magician. Not just any magician- but one bound by the most egregious of terms: business contracts. See, a long time ago, Bobby got himself involved with a dragon whose business was making magicians, and Bobby wanted magic to be his business. Both of them having common interest, Bobby agreed to sign over his services in exchange for phenomenal (draconic) magic. A pretty awesome deal, right? The contract put him at the top percentage of human magicians, on top of having the backing of a dragon patron, and a fantastic set of benefits befitting an esteemed contractor, so it'd be smooth sailing from then on, right? Not so. That kind of power isn't granted without strings attached, and Bobby's practically bound up in them. Following the esoteric laws set forth by magicians , juggling them with the mortal interests he still has to abide by, and finding himself at the beck and call of a fickle and opaque patron makes his life as a magician a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But when his patron sets him on a strange task- with stranger company, no less, even Bobby has to question what his mission really is. Delving into fantastic crimes and cracking open mysteries is just the least he can do, and he'll do it with the help of his gun, his wand, and his trusted allies both large and small. --- Cover art is of the Georgia Guidestones. Chapters released on a semi-regular basis, at least one every two weeks, sometimes more. Also published on Offprint.net, Webnovel, and Scribblehub under the same title!
