Day 21 (April 6th)
"Tell me again, Miguel, why are we climbing the side of an apartment building?" Relon asks, the three climbing a fire escape.
"We're almost there, just keep climbing."
"Try not to sound too bothered." You chuckles, he necklace dancing to the motion as they near the top.
"What the heck...?" Relon raises a brow now standing on the roof as does You, a storage room open with what appears to be a makeshift temporary home. "Please tell me you didn't actually-"
"Yes I did." Miguel states with pride.
"That's not something to be proud of, Aniki." Relon sweatdrops.
"So? What did you learn?" You asks passing the two taking in the sight of the stadium far off in the distance.
"This." He goes into the small room pulling out a notebook. "I recorded the shift schedule of any and everything. People wandering around, cops patrolling, all that." He explains handing it to Relon as You walks back peering over the protagonist's shoulder.
Flipping from page to page, both look to the other with confusion before to Miguel.
"It's blank."
"Exactly." He states walking to the edge looking out at the stadium. "For whatever reason, the cops haven't set foot in here since putting up the black tape."
"Not even passerbys or young curious kids?"
"Nope. Not a soul. The closest I'd seen on cam was a homeless guy and he just stayed in an apartment for the night before going back to the city. Of course, everyone saw him since he just walked under the tape. Aside from that though, it's as if the authorities want nothing to do with Sector Destroyed. 24-hour surveillance and all I captured were strays. It's like the authorities are afraid to come in."
"..."
Stadium
"Here." Miguel calls giving Relon a walkie talkie. "I'm gonna go turn the lights on so let me know if it works." He bids disappearing behind stage as seen thanks to their flashlights.

"I still can't believe you two cleaned up the lobby in the span of a single day." You giggles.
"Trust me, I couldn't believe it myself at first." Relon mutters to himself pretending to not let You hear him which only makes her giggle harder.
"Thank you. Really."
"No need to thank us, we just want to make your dream a reality." He dismisses coolly.
"Oh, look at you, acting all cool now huh?"
"Hmpf, you're not getting me this time." He turns his back to the girl smirking with confidence.
At his words, the lights turn on.
"Light on?" Miguel calls from the device.
"Yup, you good."
Appearing from behind the stage, he looks to the now illuminated room.
"I'll need to make that easier to turn on."
"Why not just add a flip switch when we enter?"
"Do you know how much work that takes?" Relon looks back to the curious girl.
"What, it's not like you haven't spent an entire day working solely on the place."
"I don't appreciate you joking on the mention to flip it to sass." Relon twitches an eye for the girl to giggle once more and Miguel snort.
"We have plenty of time, so I'll work on that in my spare time." Miguel says walking up the aisle and disappearing behind the side door.
Looking at the control room, its lights come on revealing the young man.
"Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3." His voice speaks through the speakers in the ceiling
"We hear you!" You shout, waving her arms for Miguel to give a thumbs up.
"And I can hear you guys clearly as well! Alright, let's get to work!"
Taking a seat, Relon watches as You gets on stage before taking a breath.
"Whenever you're ready." Miguel calls out.
Nodding, she begins her steps. Each subtle movement clear yet abstract whether it be her footwork tracing across the ground as if its snow or her hands flowing like water through the air.

I knew she's been practicing but compared to before, she's on a whole 'nother level...!
"Hey Miguel, when I do this, can you have that light slightly dimmer or change it to a blue-ish color?"
"You got it, boss." He notes messing with the controls as the stage is now shone in a blue tint.
"Awesome!" She cheers refocusing on her work.
Giving a smile, Relon gets up walking out and up to the control room seeing numerous control panels.
"Jesus." He says looking at all buttons the child in him would want to press.
"Honestly, it's all pretty easy to learn. Given a day or two." Miguel adds offhandedly adjusting a switch for the stage to brighten, both looking on at You's performance. "It feels like the old days."
"You said it." Relon agrees, his eyes glued to You's figure.
Spinning to a halt, her body remains still along with her eyes closed.
"Are you going to be okay remembering all of this?"
"Don't worry, I used a mod to record the entire algorithm."
"You cease to amaze me." Relon shakes his head with a smirk.
"All I have to do is go back and edit the inputs and we'll have You's first performance sequence without having to lift a button."
"Hey, Relon!" The voice of You hollers gaining their attention. "Get up here!"
"Huh? Why?" He asks over the intercom.
"Just do it, come on!"
"You know you're not winning that argument with the wife." Miguel jokes elbowing the now blushing teen who returns with a glare.
"Shut it." He orders leaving.
"Ah, I love messing with him." He sighs happily.
Though I'm surprised that was his answer regarding them together. Relon, I hope you don't regret it.
"Care to tell me why?" He approaches casually for the girl to hop off grabbing his hand out his pocket and dragging him on. "H-Hey!"
Touching the stage, she lets go as his eyes widen. A sensation unlike any other hitting him to his very core.
What the...? His eyes shake slightly attempting to grasp the sudden shift.
Looking out to the empty auditorium, he raises a hand to his chest.
What's this... pressure? No, it's something lighter but equally as forceful. Is this what all of th idols felt? This... anticipation? Slowly glancing next to him to see You copying his gesture, he looks back forward bewildered.
"I'm sure they all felt what we feel right now. That's why, I want to do this more now than ever. Not just for everyone but myself as well." She opens her eyes, conviction evident in her tone and passion in her eyes.
"You..."
"Who knows, once everything is back to normal, you could become an idol too." She smiles cheekily, making him blush.
"Idols are defined as girls, not guys!" He objects though she can only giggle at the obvious blush on his face.
"Before any of that can happen..." Miguel says walking to them both. "You two have to get through your first day of school tomorrow."

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
