"What are you doing?" Tracy Brand's eyes were wide Barry, Cisco, HR and I ran into the room she was in, where she was burning many papers, Barry putting out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
"You mean save you from a painful, fiery death?" Cisco stares at her as if she had gone insane, pointing at the torch she had in her hand.
"I had it under control." Tracy says, the torch clicking on, causing us all to jump.
"Okay, you know what, let's put this down while you still have eyebrows." Cisco grabs the torch, placing it somewhere.
"You're burning this all on purpose?" I let out a shaky breath, staring at her with slight wide eyes.
"Yes, I'm burning everything." Tracy nods, explaining once she noticed us all stammering, "My work. I don't know why they call it "work", especially since none of it works."
"This isn't exactly what I expected." Barry says.
"Yeah, me neither." I mutter.
"Um, Dr. Brand?" Barry calls for her.
"Oh no." Tracy shook her head, "Just Tracy. I failed my dissertation. Nothing like ten years down the drain and a pile of debt as a legacy."
"Tracy," I start, "We- were just hoping you had a moment to talk?"
"Oh no. My bus leaves in my five minutes." Tracy looks into the pot, "Please tell me I didn't burn my bus ticket-"
"Where are you going?" asked HR.
"Big Belly Burger. I hear they're hiring." Tracy said with full seriousness.
Barry laughs, but the angelic sound quickly fades when he sees she was serious, "Wait- you're serious? What about all your research?"
"Oh, you mean my "unsubstantiated and transactional" inquiry into the "purely suppositional" nature of extra-dimensional energy?" She asks.
"Yes-" We say in unison.
"A waste of time, or as Dr. Hersh puts it. "A total misapplication of the university's resources." I might as well start practicing, "Do you want fries with that?"" She mocks Dr. Hersh.
"Look, don't let the naysayers get you down.
Your doubts, they're traitors. Don't believe them. Your mind is too fine to waste turning tubers into finger chips." HR told her.
"Finger chips?" She questions.
"He's from out of town." Cisco explains, a small eye roll following.
"You can't give up-" Barry starts, "Your work on relativistic quantum mechanics and its application to inter-spatial theory to manipulate matter on a subatomic level, it's groundbreaking."
I stare at Barry with wide eyes, my brain not processing any of what he had just said, the words being to sophisticated and huge, practically oozing science.
"I haven't shared that hypothesis with anyone, other than my therapist." Tracy calls out, "Who are you?"
"We're therapists." HR blurts out.
"I-" I start to back him up, "Yeah. We are- we go around, and help people, who need to talk. And, maybe instead of burning all of your work, you could talk about it, and talk about your feelings. I mean- that's our job, to listen and give you our best advice. I'll even throw in a ride to Big Belly Burger if you're interested." I turned my head and glared at HR.
Before Tracy could say anything else, the door behind Tracy broke open, the glass shattered, ice everywhere, Caitlin Snow, who was now fully Killer Frost stepping right through, "Admission here is so easy."
Everything happened so fast. One second, Killer Frost had thrown an icicle right for Tracy, but missed due to Barry's quick moves, him moving her out the way and shoving her in HR's direction, instructing for them to get out of here. When Barry was turned, she had used her powers to send him flying, falling onto the ground with a groan, the stool falling with him.

"So, you've gone all Killer Frost, huh? New threads and everything." Cisco stepped up, holding his hands out, "I don't want to hurt you."
"You won't." Killer Frost held her hands out, "But I will hurt her."
Using her powers, she sends him flying also, leaving me. She takes a step closer to me, my entire body hunching to the side, hopping onto the other foot, my other foot coming up and hitting her in the jaw with full force, her falling to the ground.
I exhale, staring at her, "I didn't want to hurt you, Caitlin."
"You think that hurt me?" She pushed up to her feet, a small speck of blood on the corner of her lip, as she grabs onto my waist, pushing me into the dress, using her abilities to start to freeze where her hands were put, the ice spreading, a gasp leaving my lips.
Barry was up, grabbing the torch, turning it on, snapping his fingers, creating a small bolt of electricity, the gas from the torch combining with it, sending it right towards Killer Frost, knocking her off her free and sends her flying, hitting the wall. She gets up, running off, Barry coming over to me immediately.
I cough lightly, my eyes slightly wide, as I felt my throat start to close up. Barry wraps his arms around me quickly, holding onto me tight, starting to vibrate. My eyes are wide at the feeling, but soon enough, I was warmed up and could breath.
"Are you okay?" Barry stops, holding onto my forearms.
"Yeah-" I assure him, running in Cisco's direction, "Cisco- hey- are you okay?"
Barry helps him up, Cisco nodding, "Yeah, that's gonna leave a mark."
-
"That's her Detective. Icy eyes and all." Tracy said to Joe, staring at the sketch of Killer Frost was made.
"Yeah, that's her." Barry sighs, looking at the photo.
"So I'm gonna spread this around so everyone knows to look for her. Uh, can you give me one second?" Joe tells her, before turning it around, handing it to me. Tracy nods, turning away, walking away from us.
I turn, along with Barry and Joe, walking the opposite direction, "Uh, so if Caitlin wants Tracy dead, I guess what you saw in the future was true and she's teamed up with Savitar."
"I just didn't think it was gonna happen this soon." Barry spoke, walking closely to us.
"I don't think any of us did, Barr." I say quietly, as I came to a stop, my head looking back, seeing that Tracy had her back towards us, my head snapping back forward as I dropped the paper into the shredder, the entire thing shredding to pieces.
"Zee-" Barry's eyes are wide, as he whisper shouts at me.
"Do you have any better ideas?" I look at him, "We can't have everyone at ccpd running after her. It makes things so much more complicated."
"Makes what more complicated?" Cecile comes up to us, joining the conversation.
"Uh t-there was a meta attack at CCU, and we just don't have much to go off of." Joe stuttered out.
Cecile shot us a look, "Really? It's a college campus. Isn't there video footage?"
"Uh, no." Joe mumbles.
"It got erased." Barry and I say in unison.
"Uh, well, I'm sure you three will figure it out." Cecile smiles at us, then looks at Joe, "Joe, could I talk to you?"
"Yeah-" He nods, walking by her.

"I don't know about this one, Bar. HR isn't exactly our best closer." Joe's voice woke me up from my sleep, but I kept my eyes closed.
We were in the parking lot of Jitters, keeping an eye out for Killer Frost. HR had basically gone in and had been talking to Tracy, Cisco in another van with Julian, telling him exactly what to say, to get her to start talking.
I was seated on Barry's lap, as he was in the passenger seat of the black van we were in. Joe sat in the drivers seat, holding binoculars, every now and then looking at HR And Tracy.
I had fallen asleep on Barry's lap, due to now getting much sleep the night before because of the shocking news of Caitlin, and how late at night we went to Star Labs to stop her.
My head was buried in his shoulder, the soft fabric of his jacket nuzzling against my skin. One of his arms was wrapped around me, the other resting on the console, "Ah, he'll be fine. Are you okay?"
"Yeah." Joe simply says.
"Just - Cecile?" Barry mentions what he had overheard the earlier after I walked away.
Joe sighs, "She's just she caught me off guard. I just didn't think we were there yet."
"Well, obviously she is." Barry said, "Are you?"
"I-I care for her a lot." Joe stutters out.
"Take it from me." Barry starts, "Before I created Flashpoint, I wanted to tell Zee I love her. With everything going on, I couldn't find the right time, and I didn't think I was ready. But when she said it to me, it felt- amazing. When I said it back, it's like all this weight had been lifted off my shoulders, because I knew I loved her. That's why I didn't hesitate to say it after Flashpoint."
A small chuckle comes from Joe, "You two were made for each other."
"I'd like to think so." Barry lets out a soft laugh.
"It's just with everything going on with Iris and Savitar and now Caitlin, I just feel like I lie to Cecile all the time." Joe admits.
"Then maybe you should stop. You're gonna have to tell her about Wally and me and all this at some point, right? So why not now? Well, just so you know, you don't have to keep her in the dark for us. If you love her, you should be honest with her. At least that's what you'd tell me to do." Barry told him.
It goes silent between them, Barry's hand rubbing up and down my back, as I felt his stare on me, my heart starting to beat faster, his voice quiet, "I can't lose her, Joe."
"You won't, Barry." Joe assures him, "We're going to find a way."
"When I went to the future-" Barry starts, a small voice crack follows at the very end of his sentence, "I met Reign. And while talking to her- I called Zee my wife."
Joe goes silent, as Barry speaks again, "I don't want to lose her. I've lost my mom- and dad. I can't lose her too."
My heart melts at the sound of those words. I let out a fake yawn, lifting my head up, opening my eyes, rubbing them both, rubbing the sleep away.
"Have a good nap, Zee?" Joe chuckles towards me.
"Mhm." I hum in response, looking at Barry, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah- yeah, I'm good." He shot me a weak smile.
Suddenly, HR and Tracy ran out of Jitters, HR yelling for our help. Barry runs out the car, Joe and I following after, the chase after Killer Frost just beginning.
-
We had gotten word that Cecile had been kidnapped by Caitlin. We were soon given a location, this being where Killer Frost, known to us as Caitlin Snow would bring Cecile, to trade for Tracy.
And that's where we were, the location that we were given. But, we weren't going to give Tracy up so easily. Whatever plan Barry had in mind would go in action.
"Cecile!" Joe calls for her, running to her when he lays eyes on her, "Are you all right?"
"Joe! I'm okay." She comes over to him, not a scratch on her body, "She didn't hurt me."
"That's because killing you does nothing for me." Killer Frost's comes from behind Cecile, the bewitched Caitlin Snow revealing herself. "Killing you, Tracy? That's everything. Hand her over."
"You don't have to do this." Barry starts, holding a hand out.
"Yes, I do." Her voice was cold.
"Why? Because Savitar commands it? He's not a god." I stared at her, "He's just a man that's using you."
"Come on, you're one of us." Barry starts but she already knew what he was going to say.
"One of us?" She says in unison with him.
"We're family." Barry starts, but she knew he was going to say that too, as if she had read a script, "We're family?"
"We protect each other till the end." Barry and Caitlin say in unison.
"How are you doing that?" asked Barry.
"Savitar told me everything you'd say. You two are more alike than you realize." Killer Frost smirked, chuckling, "You see, that's how Savitar knows every move you're going to make. He's always one step ahead of you, because this is all history to him. That's how I know Cisco's in the rafters right now." Her fingers press a device, activating a bomb, Cisco opening a breach and jumping through, falling onto the ground into a bunch of boxes, groaning in pain.
Within seconds, Killer Frost had sent Barry flying icing him to ground. She grabs onto my arm, a dagger made of ice forming in her hand, piercing the sharp end right into my side, a pained squeal leaving my lips.
Before she could make any other moves, Cisco had gotten up and used his powers to knock her to the ground, "It's over, Caitlin."
"Caitlin's dead." Killer Frost seethed through her teeth venomously, pushing onto her feet, making her way to Cisco with a cold look on her face.
And with that, everyone was moving. Joe ran to Cecile, grabbing her and Tracy, making sure they all got out safe, as I ran over to Barry, ignoring the pain, my hands touching the ice, using my abilities to melt the ice off him.
My head snaps towards Cisco and Caitlin, watching as he had shot his continuous vibration blasts, right at her, as she shot her continuous energy cryokinesis, their blasts meeting right in the middle.
I let out a breath, seeing Killer Frost start to slowly overpower Cisco, my head snapping towards Barry, "You can phase out the rest of this, right?"
He nods, as I jumped onto my feet, Barry quickly speaking up, "Zee, wait-"
I don't listen, running toward Cisco and Caitlin, facing Caitlin and moving in between Cisco's arms, my hands in between his, blasting a bit of my own powers between his vibrations, "Thought you could use some help-"
"Oh man, I'm lucky Barry's trapped under ice, aren't I?" Cisco mumbles, a small grin forming on my lips, that even given the situation, he was cracking a joke.
Killer Frost smiles at me, before forcing her entire power on us, overpowering us more, as I felt myself not pushing more due to this being Caitlin.
"Zee-" Cisco leans into my ear, taking a deep breath, whispering, "Full power in three, two-"
"One-" We say in unison, forcing full power onto her, knocking her off her feet and onto the ground, her out cold.
Barry phases out the ice, as Cisco and I ran to Caitlin, Cecile, Tracy And Joe coming over and looking at Caitlin, Cisco checking her pulse, "Caitlin- you're alive- I'm sorry. I had to stop you to save you."
-
My hand ran over the patch bandage that rested on the wound on my side, staring at myself in a mirror. I was at Star Labs, Cisco helping me take care of my new wound, as I told Barry to go home, and that I would meet him there.
I sigh lightly, Cisco looking at me, "You okay?"
"Are you?" I looked at him, "You were pretty shaken up after what happened with Caitlin."
"I'm fine." Cisco tells me, "Now that we have Caitlin's blood- we can find her a antidote to cure her of Killer Frost."
I nod lightly, giving him a weak smile, looking back at the mirror that was in front of me. A stinging burning feeling starts to form on the wound under the bandage, causing me to let out a hose in pain, ripping the bandage off, my eyes widening at the sight, "Cisco- Cisco!"
"What?" He looks at me, his eyes fixed on my wound, as I stared at it through the mirror.
I stood still, watching as the outer layer of the wound erupted in small flames, the wound become smaller and smaller by the second, until it had fully disappeared, the pain vanishing.
"You just-" Cisco trails off in shock, "You just healed yourself- you just regenerated-"
"I did-" I mumble quietly, "God, there's so many perks to my powers that I didn't know were even possible."
"Zee-" Cisco looks at me, "I think we just found a loop hole to saving your life in the future."
